[The Sequel of 'I'M NOT THE ONLY ONE' / Chapter 4]

“Oppa, do you really love me?” the girl asked while leaned her head on Baekhyun’s shoulder.

 “Off course, I do. How could I resist a Goddess like you, Sooyoungie,” Baekhyun said as he landed a soft peck on her forehead. It made the girl suddenly blushed.

“And… how about… your wife?”

Baekhyun suddenly startled when Sooyoung was mentioning his wife. He suddenly remembered who he was, his marriage status, and he realized that he wasn’t being a single man anymore.

Baekhyun glanced at his wrist to looked at the watch and found that it was already 10 PM. His wife definitely had waited for him to come home at these hours.

Baekhyun took a cell phone from his pocket pants. He glanced to the screen, but there was no phone calls or message yet. It was weird since Baekhyun always noticed that his wife was always call or send some text message to him, as she just wanted to check about her husband condition. She never scolded or asked him to go home soon although he would come home late almost everyday. She always understands with every reason that Baekhyun had tell to her as an excuse. Although every reason that he had to told her were all of lies.  Baekhyun was never had an additional works like he had said to her. Baekhyun was never had a sudden meeting in his office like he had said to her. Baekhyun was never spending his time till midnight with his fellow friends like he had said to her. All that he had done that made him always come home late was none other than being with the girl named Park Sooyoung.

“Oppa… Why didn’t you answering my question? What are you thinking about? Is there something trouble that burdening your mind?” Sooyoung’s question suddenly made Baekhyun snapped out from his reverie.

“It’s almost midnight. I think I should go home now. See you again, Young,” he bid his goodbye to the girl, before he walked toward his car.

It was 10:30. Baekhyun arrived at his home. He startled as he found that his wife wasn’t coming home yet. He already pressed the bell of the house for many times. But no one opened the door for him. Unfortunately, Baekhyun forgot to bring the spare key to his house. He already tried to call Bomi on the phone, but her phone wasn’t active. So, he had no choice except let himself waited for her outside.

“Where did she go? She wasn’t usually going outside till this hours without any news,” Baekhyun whimpered as he took a seat on the verandah’s bench.

15 minutes passed. Baekhyun who was fell into sleep because tired of waiting, suddenly woke up as he could hear some chuckles were approaching his ears from such a distance. He opened his eyes slowly before he found Bomi’s presence that was walking toward the house. Baekhyun’s eyes suddenly widened as he saw that his wife wasn’t walking alone, but she was chatting happily with an unfamiliar man.

Bomi suddenly stopped herself from laughing, as she was catching her husband presence – that was already standing and glaring at both of them.

“Oh, you must be Baekhyun sunbae. I’m Yook Sungjae, Bomi’s childhood friend. We had met when I was attending your wedding party. Nice to meet you again, sunbae,” Sungjae bowed politely to the eldest.

But, Baekhyun ignored him. “Yoon Bomi, open the door, now,” he said firmly as he turned around.

“Thank you for your help today, Jae. Please convey my gratitude to Eunji,” Bomi patted Sungjae’s arm.

“You’re welcome, noona. See you again tomorrow. Bye,” Sungjae bid his goodbye.

“Bomi, we need to talk,” Baekhyun immediately said, when both of them entering the house together.

“Can we talk about it tomorrow? I feel so tired right now,” Bomi said nonchalantly without glancing to the eldest.

Baekhyun quickly grabbed his wife arm, and pulled her harshly. “You should obey my orders!” he yelled.

Bomi winched because of his tight grip, and Baekhyun noticed it, so he decided to release her arm. “I’m sorry,” he mumbled.

“What are you wanted to talk about? You want to ask about my relationship with Yook Sungjae, aren’t you? You don’t need to worry, Sungjae and I was only a good friend. He is Eunji’s boyfriend. So, you don’t have to put any suspicion toward us,” Bomi blabbered and it made Baekhyun feel relieved.

“… And one thing that you should know, oppa. I’m already being your wife. I don’t have a right to cheat on you, because I’d already said our wedding vows in front of God, so I would never dare to violate it,” Bomi said firmly before she turned around and walked toward their room.

Meanwhile, Baekhyun still stunned and he was mentally slapped himself by Bomi’s remark.

On the next morning, Baekhyun woke up and turned his body around to be greeted with nothing but a slept pillow and side of the bed. He realized that his wife was no longer there. He got up, and his eyes suddenly caught a pink letter and a lollipop on the table near the bed.

Baekhyun grabbed and read it.

‘Oppa, I should go out earlier because I had an appointment with Sungjae and Eunji on this morning. Don’t forget to bring the spare keys, and you should not wait for me tonight because I will come home late again. I’d already made toasts and bacons for your breakfast. Love, Bbom.’

Baekhyun could not help himself from smiling after he read that letter. Actually, he was still mad with her after last night's incident. But, after he read every word that Bomi had written on the pink letter, his anger slowly disappeared.

Baekhyun grabbed the lollipop that Bomi had left for him. He giggled since he remembered that Bomi was always sticking a lollipop and a mysterious letter every day on his locker when they were still being a university student, a few years ago. That was a simple thing, but that simplicity could make Baekhyun fell in love with her.

Baekhyun snapped out from his reverie as his cell phone was ringing. He grabbed from the table then he found that Sooyoung was calling him. He heaved a sigh, before he turned off his cell phone.
