“Yongguk oppa, you are so talented!” Eunji squealed while running toward her school football team, who had just won over the Anyang High School football team. 

Yongguk chuckled and ruffled her hair in response. Daehyun was behind him, as he watched them with an irritated looks.

“Thank you, Ji. But Daehyun was the top scorer for today. Is it right, Daehyun-ah?”

Daehyun head snapped from Eunji to Yongguk and he nodded awkwardly.

“But for me, you’re still the star among the others, oppa,” Eunji beamed, and this time Yongguk pinched her nose then he got a light hit on his arm from her as a result.

Daehyun who was seeing it with burning eyes, suddenly threw the mineral bottle that he brought earlier in the dustbin and it created a pretty loud voice when the bottle hit the dustbin. Daehyun was trying to make them noticing that he was feel annoyed by them. But, Eunji and Yongguk still chatting happily with each other, and totally ignoring the jealousy guy behind them.

Daehyun frowned in dissatisfaction, before he ruffled his hair in frustration then he was storming out the locker room.

It was recess time. Eunji with her friends, Naeun and Hayoung were taking their lunch at the school cafeteria.

“Hello girls, may I join you?” suddenly a voice butted in their previous ‘girls talk’. Eunji suddenly groaned at the person who seems so annoying for her.

“Oh, hello Daehyun sunbaenim,” Naeun bowed politely to him, as she noticed that the boy already took his seat next to her.

“Hello, Hayoung-ah,” Daehyun greet Hayoung who sat in front of her and made the girl suddenly bowed to him.

“Hi, Naeun-ah. You always look so pretty,” Daehyun moved his gaze to the girl beside him, as he winked flirtatiously causing Eunji to chocked in disbelief. Daehyun smirked playfully as he could sense Eunji’s reaction.

“T-thank you sunbaenim,” Naeun suddenly blushed, and it made Eunji wanted to puke.

“Did you already have a boyfriend?” Daehyun asked while he started to caress Naeun’s hair.

Naeun shook her head, shyly.

“Oh really? How could a goddess like you still have not a boyfriend yet?” Daehyun blinked his eyes.

“I still cannot find a right guy for being my boyfriend, sunbaenim,” Naeun said as she looked down.

Daehyun smirked before he was resting his hand around Naeun’s shoulder and he pulled her closer to him.

“Should I give it a try to win over your heart, Naeun-ah?” he whispered at her, and Eunji could clearly see that his lips almost brushing Naeun’s ears.

“S-sunbaenim, I-I…”

“Hayoung-ah, let’s go to the class now. I think the recess time will almost end,” Eunji suddenly cut their conversation, as she abruptly got up from her seat and asked the maknae to followed her.

Hayoung nodded, and got up from her seat, before she was trailing behind the eldest.

“Eunji eonnie, Hayoung-ah, wait for me?!” Naeun immediately yanked Daehyun’s arm from around her shoulder, and she ran toward her friends.

Daehyun who noticed Eunji’s reaction started to create a winning smile on his face.

Today was Eunji’s Birthday Party. Surprisingly, Daehyun got an invitation from her, and he happened to be the first one to arrive at the party among his school friends. He cursed his big brother for driven him too early to the party, since his brother had another appointment so he should drove his little brother earlier.

He turned around slowly to be greeted by the birthday girl, Jung Eunji who was wearing a pink dress. She looks totally so different tonight, since she always been boyish and wore a casual thingy in her daily life. Eunji was only put a light make-up and her hair was slightly curly. It could make Daehyun's heart beats fast.

“Oh, so, you’re coming,” Eunji greet him as she already in front of him.

“H-hi,” Daehyun greet her back awkwardly, while he was raising his hand to wave at her. “Uhm… Happy birthday, I guess,” he said as he rubbed the back of his neck shyly.

“Thank you, and please take your seat while waiting the other friends for coming,” she said, before she turned around and walk toward the other guests who was coming to her party.

Daehyun walk himself to the corner side, as he took his seat there. He decided to busy himself by playing some random games on his tablet.

“You must be Jung Daehyun,” suddenly a voice greeted him, and made Daehyun lifted his face to see the owner of the voice. He felt startled as he saw a middle aged woman was standing in front of him.

“Y-yes, it’s me…” he blinked.

The middle aged woman suddenly chuckled. “Finally I’ve met you, young man. I’m Eunji’s mother.”

Daehyun’s eyes widened as he found out the woman identity, but he quickly bowed to her respectfully, “Hello, I’m Jung Daehyun.”

“Don’t hesitate, Daehyun-ah. Eunji was often talking about you,” Eunji’s mother laughed.

“O-oh really?” Daehyun blinked in confusion.

“You were coming from Busan too, right? And you’re the son of Jung Haebin, am I right?” this time Eunji’s mother guessed and it surprised him since she knew his dad.
