You had told me that you would be by my side, 

but now you are long gone.

I watched as your eyes dropped down, your beautiful brown orbs no longer looking into mine. You tried to stammer, to explain, but I knew that whatever we had is gone forever. You made the mistake, and I waited for your confession. I hope that you would trust me. I hope that you would find it in you to believe that I would forgive you. But you didn't. You pretended as though nothing had happened. I pretended like I care. You tried your best to make it up to me, and I tried my best to not fall apart. 

In the end, I could not longer feign my ignorance to your affair. It had hurt me, it had broken me, but I just couldn't find it in myself to let it go. You begged, you grabbed onto my arms, but I wrung your hands off. The places where you touch no longer tingle, the eyes that I used to love no longer reflect the happy time we used to have. Instead, all I can see was a big, black mass of emptiness. I couldn't see your sincere eyes, I couldn't see the old love that I thought we had. And then I decided that enough was enough.

"You know, Ravi, people said that if you had to choose between two people, you should choose the second one." 

"Why?"

"Because if you love the first one enough, you wouldn't have love the second one. I'm obviously not enough for you, because you went and kissed my best friend."

"But-"

"Goodbye"

A really, REALLY short drabble between RavixAmber as a way to start off the VIXX Era. I dedicated this to a very good friend of mine who inspired me to write this by telling me about one of Sam Smith's super sad lyrics. What did y'll think? Too sappy? Too sad? Too cheesy?
