Tiffany POV

“So you’re breaking up with me?”

“Yes.”

“You told me... you told me you love me.” I said. I felt the tears I’ve been trying to suppress have fallen down from my eyes.

“I really do, Fany-ah.”

“Why?”

“At least try to give him a chance.”

“You told me not to leave you.”

“I know.”

“You told me to just stay by your side.”

“Yeah...”

“You told me everything is okay between us.”

“Yes. It is...”

“Then, why are you breaking up with me?”

“Sooyoung. He’s the one for you.”

“You have no right to tell me who’s the one for me.”

“He can give you everything you wanted in life, Tiffany.”

“No.”

“While me... I can’t even give you anything. I’m even obliging you to work for us to live.”

“No.”

“He’s the one you’re searching for, Fany-ah, not me. He’s the one that can make you happy.”

“Stop! Why Yuri? Why are you telling me all of these?”

“Because... I don’t want you to live in remorse for the rest of your life.”

“I’m not.”

“All I did was just to force you to come into my life without even giving you a choice to live your life how you want it to be.”

“No. I accepted everything. From the moment you told me to live with you, be Sunkyu’s mom, and be your wife. I agreed to all of that, it was all my own decision and not by only you. This was all my choice."

“Think about it, Tiffany. Meeting him again has been your goal ever since you set foot in this country. You have to come back to your original plan.”

“No...”

“What we have is nothing but just an accident and I just made it worse. Let’s face the reality. We’re not meant for each other. I’m not the one for you. You’ll see and thank me someday for this.”

“Thank you?! You expect me to thank you on this? Yuri, how many times do you want me to say you’re the one I want now?”

“You’re just saying that because you never really had given him a chance.”

“I am certain enough.”

“No. You’re not.”

“So now what? You’re acting as if you knew everything about me?”

“...”

I threw my hands up in defeat. “Fine. I get it.” I stood up and headed to his room. I started to pack my things. “This is what you want. It’s not like I still have a right to refuse to that.”

“Don’t go.”

“, Yuri! You broke up with me, now you’re saying you don’t want me to go?!”

“You can still live here... if you want.”

I stood up and went closer to him. “Are you trying to kill me?”

“I’m just saying you can stay as long as you want. I’m not forcing you to leave.”

“I’m leaving. There’s no point for me to stay here anymore.” I picked up my bag and headed to the front door.

He hastened his pace and held my hand. “Tiffany, please...

Don’t leave.” He pleaded. I turned around to face him. I forced myself a smile. Though I know it just ended up bitterly. “Thank you for everything. Please take care of Sunkyu. Tell him I love him so much. Goodbye.” I bid.

I hate you, Yuri. I hate you so much.

Have you ever felt like you’re fully alive and yet you’re dying inside? Like there’s nothing in this world left for you? That you’d rather die than stay in this cruel world you once love? Yeah... right. I think now I understand how my bestfriend feels every time.

I’ve been so happy, like I was in a dream... until I woke up from the pain of reality. Yuri and I... we’re never meant for each other. He’s just a detour on my journey. It’s now time for me to get back on track, my real destiny, just like he said, like how he wanted. I realized life isn’t like a fairytale that always have happy endings. A fairytale is merely a glimpse of life that every person always sought and yet, they are meant to be just a dream. So then, I have to wake myself up from this happy dream, get back to my previous life and marry that someone I don’t love.

I have nowhere else to go now. There’s no point for me to stay in this country, anyway. The prince I’ve sought for a very long time wasn’t really the person that I ever wanted to be with for the rest of my life. Yet, the person that I thought to be the one for me threw me away so easily.

So, is this the end of my story???

I don’t know. Maybe until I get back to my real home.

I have to be honest with you, okay. I don’t have enough money to buy a plane ticket yet. You see, I stopped on working at the Malibu club. So I guess I should work a little more again. Maybe until the end of this semester then I’ll head back home. I have to do it on my own too. I don’t want my parents to know that I was gone. Yes, I am sure that they both have no clue about my running-away escapade until now. Just so you know I’m gifted with special powers to detect people who stalk me. I pretty much have many stalker body guards since I was little. So again, my point is, I’ll stay here for a little while, though I don’t even have a freaking clue where should I really stay.

Now look at this guy, hiding again. Pfft. As if I won’t notice him.

“Yuri, I know you ar
