"B-Boa???" Dad uttered in stutter while a great shock was drawn on his face.

"Yes, I am." Then, she announced proudly to everyone. "I am Boa Kwon. Widow of the late Yunho Kwon, the most handsome business tycoon of our era and Chief Executive Officer of Summit KY." She looked at my father as if mocking him, "Does it ring a bell, Jae?"

"Boa, I---"

She cut him out and continued, "And so it seems, most of the guests around here are of our age. Well, let me just remind you of my family's legacy. We were renowned as the 80s and 90s Power Couple as we're both born from wealthy clans and were also graduates as Summa Laude in our respective batches in Ji Chang Wook University. There was no couple out there that could ever beat our achievements, whether individual or as a couple." She smirked at dad. "Yes, definitely not even you, Jaejoong and your beloved Elizabeth."

"I remember you!" a man shouted. He then stood up. "You're the summa laude in our batch who had her speech for an hour and a half long! You freaking consumed almost half of the ceremony just for your stupid speech!"

A woman then seconded, "Yeah, I remember you! You bored us to death that time!"

Miss Boa glared at them and shouted, "Yah! Shouldn't you just be thankful I imparted bountiful knowledge on your heads that time?!"

The man complained again, "Bountiful?! We didn't even understand a single thing!" and soon, lots of people agreed with him and shouted on her too.

"'SHUT UP!!!" Miss Boa shouted back which got their mouths zipped again. "This is my moment! Stop ruining it!"

I happened to glance at Yuri. Well... I say he's definitely soooooo embarrassed by his mother now, since, he freaking covered himself with his coat and just hid behind Taeyeon. Uncle Vincent, on the other hand, had his head lowered and his face covered by both of his hands.

Miss Boa continued walking towards the direction of our table. Mom still looked so shocked and too pale from seeing her best friend. She absentmindedly stood up too while still staring at her long lost best friend. Tears have accumulated from her eyes as well.

"Boa." dad uttered as he broke down in tears. Miss Boa happened to stop in front of him. "Boa, I-- I'm s-sorry-- I-- I couldn't---"

"SHHH!" she forcefully placed her index finger right on my father's lips making it somewhat distorted. "Stop, Jae. I have no time for you now even if it's your birthday."

"Bb-but---"

"SSSSSHHHH!!!" She even made his lips more distorted. "Shut up now. Talk later."

Mom slowly took a few steps near her. Miss Boa, this time, smirked at her darkly in return, "Hello, my dear best friend."

Mom took a few more steps slowly.

Then, even before she could utter a single word, she had fallen on the floor.

Fainted.

"Mom!" I shouted as I went near to attend to her. Everyone else was shocked on what happened.

"Elizabeth!" Dad shouted too and went closer. Then, he redirected to one of our security, "Quick! Call for medical help!"

"Uhhmm... Auntie?" Jessica snapped at Miss Boa.

"*Sigh*." Miss Boa sighed too loudly and forcefully again as she continued to stare at my mom who is still unconscious.

We had her transferred to another building of the Hwang Diamond Hotel - Main branch where the hotel's clinic is situated. Apparently, the architecture of the place is designed with three buildings: two for hotels and special amenities while one for function halls.

Anyways, thirty minutes after the incident, we had the celebration ended an hour earlier than expected. All the guests have already left by this moment. Well... it has to really be canceled because mom's unconscious and dad's going haywire. Yes, he is. With what happened to mom plus Miss Boa's sudden guest appearance, his mind is in a complete turmoil right now. He's currently breaking down at the function hall where we had his celebration. He's being accompanied by Yuri, Yoong, Tao and Uncle Vincent there.

"Do you wanna eat, Auntie?" Jessica asked her.

She sighed loudly again then answered, "I want to but, I want to be the first person Elizabeth has to see when she wakes up."

"We can set up a dining right here for you, I think."

I butted, "Yes, Miss Boa. That is if it's okay with you."

She sighed again, "Alright. Alright. I'm sort of feeling hungry now, anyway."

"Okay. I'll just order my staff to prepare the dining and get the menu for you." I excused myself and went out of the clinic and talked to one of my staffs. They immediately proceeded with my command.

Afterwards, Taeyeon arrived and approached me, "Hey, Tiff."

"Hey."

"How's it going? Is your mom already conscious?"

I sighed and answered, "No."

"Oh. Probably, she's exhausted from the celebration too. Maybe that's why she still hasn't woke up."

"Yeah, you're probably right. Do you wanna come in? Don't worry. It's okay."

"Y-yeah, sure. I'm planning to leave soon, actually. I already bid goodbye to your dad and the others, by the way. I think I'll just take a glimpse a bit."

"Okay."

We both went inside. The dining was already set-up for Miss Boa and she's now just browsing over the menu. She then gave her order to the waiter. Afterwards, the waiter excused himself to proceed with the service.

She sighed loudly again as she redirected her gaze to my mom. She stood up and crossed her arms while staring at her unconscious best friend.

"Hi, Miss Shin." Taeyeon greeted and went to stand by her side.

"Hi, dear." She looked at him. "Oh. Please stop calling me by my alias. How many times should I tell you Aunt Boa is fine?"

"At least, I'm the only one who calls you that. I want to feel special." he said and grinned widely.

"Just shut up." Then, they both continued to stare at my mom.

Hmmm. From the looks of it, Taeyeon is really, really close with Miss Boa. Well, he's been in her custody for almost four years, anyway.

Miss Boa sighed again, "I still couldn't believe this happened." Then, she shouted madly, "She stole the spotlight from me again! Arrrrghhhh---"

"Stole your spotlight?" Taeyeon asked.

"Yes! The attention of everyone's supposed to be on me, just me! But, look what she had done?!"

"Err--- uhhmm--how could she steal your spotlight? It's not like she forced herself to faint."

"Didn't I already tell you to shut up?!"

"Alrighty." Taeng then acted as if zipping his mouth with his fingers.

Then, they continued to stare back at her. Miss Boa started to look at mom quizzically, "I really still don't get it why she fainted."

"Hmmm." Taeyeon acted as if thinking too. He's rubbing his chin with his one hand. "Do you want my smart guess, Miss Shin?"

"Better that be smart, Taeyeon."

"Of course." He smirked proudly. "You know, Miss Shin. There's only one reason possible in this situation. There's only one root cause."

"Hmm. What is it?"

"I think she fainted..."

"..."

"Because of your bad breath."

Suddenly, Miss Boa had him in a headlock. "You freaking dwarf! I will kill you!"

"Miss Shin! Stop! I can't breathe!" he shouted back while trying to break away from her.

"No! I've been holding my temper on you for so long! I had enough! Arrgghhhhh!!! How could it be a smart guess, huh?!"

"But it was really a smart guess! Miss Elise was okay when she was just taking a few steps towards you! But when she's finally a bit near you, she fainted! I remember you also talked that time too!"

"SHUT THE EFFING EFF UP! YOU CRAZY STUPID DWARF! I WILL KILL YOU!"

Jessica and I tried our hardest to contain our laughter. However, we can no longer control it as Taeyeon even acted as if getting fainted too from Miss Boa's breath.

With that, Miss Boa dropped Taeyeon and glared at the two of us darkly. "What are you two laughing at?"

"Nothing." we both uttered while wearing poker faces.

Taeyeon fixed himself up as he stood. "Anyway, I'll be going ahead, Miss Shin. That's why I dropped here for a bit."

"You shouldn't have, you stupid dwarf!"

"Gee." He tried to massage her shoulders. "Relax, Miss Shin. You'll get more wrinkles if you continue on being grumpy for nothing."

She moved her shoulders forcefully to remove Taeyeon's hands from her. "Alright! Alright! Just freaking leave already, okay!"

He chuckled, "Alright. I'll be going now. Have a happy reunion with you best friend." He then went near us. "Damn. As much as I wanted to stay and stare at your beautiful faces, I can't."

We both giggled. Jessica then uttered, "Silly. You can just stay longer if you want."

"Nah. Sulli and I have to come back home tonight. Family meeting."

"Ah. I see..." Then, they both exchanged warm smiles. "Take care, Taeyeon." she said.

"Take care too." Then, he looked at me, "Bye, Tiff."

"Bye, Taeyeon. Thank you for coming." I responded. Then, surprisingly, he gave me a hug. Afterwards, he hugged Jessica too. Though, their hug was longer compared to ours. Afterwards, he left.

Hmmmm. Now, why do I have a feeling something's wrong with him?

I redirected to my mom's best friend, "Uhhm, Miss Boa?"

"Yes, Stephanie?" she responded as she looked at me.

"Uhhmmm... just a curious question... were you really uhhmm planning something earlier that's why you looked so upset when Mom stole the 'spotlight' from you?"

She looked at me in confusion, "Huh? What are you talking about?"

"Well... I was just thinking if you are really planning something like uhhmmm, revealing what happened sixteen years ago?"

She continued to look at me the same way, "What happened sixteen years ago?'

"Err--- as far as I was informed, our families were so much in conflict during that time?"

"Uhh- no? Why would I? I mean, what happened isn't something that needs to be known by the world, anyway."

"So, you really don't have plans like that?"

She shook her head, "No. I just wanna show up to the party, that's it. Why do you ask?"

"Nothing." I smiled widely in relief. "Nothing."

"You are really weird." She looked at my mom. "Just like your mother."

I quickly nudged Jess on her side and whispered, "Yah! Didn't you tell me Miss Boa's planning something nasty and wicked?!"

"Yeah, she did." Jessica answered and chuckled. "Didn't what happened earlier not too wicked and nasty for you?"

"You tricked me!"

"Oh. Come on! Didn't your night end nicely? You had a really sweet dance with Yuri, you know."

I stared back at my mom and sighed, "Yeah, I did. Though, I ruined it afterwards. I couldn't reject the other men who asked me for a dance. Those are some of my business partners and potential investors too. I don't wanna destroy my image for being mistaken as a snob."

"Yeah. I do understand you. Yuri's not doing anything to guard you from getting asked for a dance, anyway. I mean, Yoong did it on me. He guarded me throughout the night and only let Taeyeon and Yuri dance me."

"Well, I can't really blame him for not doing so. We're not really together, anyway."

"Don't worry. I'm sure Yuri will find the courage again to be together with you."

"..."

"You can't exactly blame him for becoming too afraid... He's been through a lot. He suffered so much in his whole life. And what hurts him the most is he's getting you affected too." She chuckled. "I can sense it since that's what had crossed my mind long ago that's why I decided to break up with Yoong. Like I told you, Yuri and I think the same way."

"Yeah. I think you're also right, anyway. Well, you are always right, Jess."

"No. No. That isn't true..."

Then, we went into silence as we continued to stare at the two older women. Well... I've been having a second thought whether to tell her or not about what Yoong had told me earlier... the 'uncertainty' specifically.

Miss Boa's food has arrived and she started to eat. Still, after she was done, mom's still not conscious. Afterwards, Sunkyu suddenly popped out beside me, "Hi, umma. How's halmunee?"
