Tiffany POV

Detective Conan… I wish he was real… or maybe even Sherlock Holmes. I couldn't care less who it will be. All I just wanted now is for someone to help me out. And for freaking real, since nothing's working on my current situation, I damn hell in need of a great detective.

It's the 31st of May, a week passed after the celebration event for the re-establishment of Hwang Group of Companies happened. I'm just here alone at our entertainment room, watching this detective animation. Hoping, maybe I can acquire his skills on deductive reasoning... Desperate much?

I'm clueless on everything's going on in that murder case playing at the large LED screen. But not only that… I'm also a hundred percent clueless on everything my father's been doing. Yes, he did introduce me formally to everyone as his heir last week but he didn't really mean he wanted me to join his business affairs right away. He told me that he's smoothening everything first before I could takeover. But should I actually be touched by that?

Seriously, what is he doing? Him claiming BPE with that Shin Mong... As far as I know, that guy wasn't the one who owns that company. It was Mr. Goo and then will be inherited by Yuri someday...

Yuri... Just by thinking about his name makes me comeback to my depressing state again... Until now, I don't have a clue on his whereabouts. This absence of his really kills me softly, little by little. And now that I have a bad feeling of my father's plan for BPE, I have this anxiety lingering inside my brain... *Sigh* Where is detective Conan when you needed him the most?

"Wow. Isn't watching animations a little too young for your age?" Sooyoung snapped as he entered the room. He sat on the recliner beside mine and snatched the bowl of popcorn I was holding.

"Why are you here?"

"Why? Can't I visit my fiancée's home even once in a while?"

"Wow. So, you're finally showing your true colors."

"Huh?"

"Just spill it, Soo. All along, you really want this engagement to proceed."

He suddenly mocked a laugh, "Sorry, princess, but, I can no longer fuel your fantasies. I'm a hundred percent against on me marrying you, please."

"Oh really, huh?"

"Just cut it out, already. I'm no longer that crazy for you."

I sighed loudly. "Fine... So, why are you here? For real."

"Well, I would just like to inform you that I had an information about your ex-boyfriend."

I bolted up, "What is it?! Where is he? Where is Yuri?!"

"Calm down, will ya? We still have no clue where he is hiding."

"So, what's the information about?"

"I went to the amusement park days ago and found someone spotted him wandering there last May 15th."

"I see... They must've spent Kyu's birthday there."

"Yeah... I guess so too. But just in case, I have that park manned already for maybe he'll go back there again."

"Thanks, Soo."

"No prob."

I sighed, "I promised Kyu to bring him there for his birthday this year... I can't believe I did not spend his birthday with him again... for the second time."

"…Cheer up, Fany-yah."

"..."

"Anyway, I actually have another purpose why I'm here."

"What is it?"

"Taeyeon asked me to sneak by and confirm if Jessica's with you."

"Err-why would she be with me?"

"Well, apparently, Jessica told him she'll be going to your place today."

"Now, that's weird. I haven't got any calls or messages from Sica today though." I then pulled out my phone to check it out. It turned out, she really did send me a message two hours ago,

Jessica: If anyone will ask you where I am or if I'm with you, tell them I'M WITH YOU. Do you understand, bestie?

Ehh?

"What's with the frown?" Sooyoung asked. "Was it Jessica?"

"No. No. Just-- an update from my father." I redirected back to my phone and replied to her,

Me: Why? Where are you?

...

Jessica: Just somewhere. HEY! Promise me, you'll do as I say, BESTIE.

Me: Not until you'll tell me why.

Jessica: I have an errand.

Me: Ok then. I'm going to tell Taeyeon you're hiding from him.

Jessica: Yah! Just give me this favor. Just this once. Please please please~

Me: Not until you tell me where you are.

Jessica: Gee, Fany-yah. Stop trolling me. Look, I'm quite busy here. Just text me later. Buh-bye. xoxo

Now that's really weird. One thing I'm sure about my bestfriend is that, she never hide secrets from me and whenever she tries, she'll just end up spilling everything. Jessica is not good in keeping secrets like for freaking real.

Sooyoung suddenly sighed loudly, "These past months sure feels crappy lonely."

I looked at him, "And why?"

"Why? Don't you miss us eight hanging around?"

"Hmm- yeah... I miss that too. If not gone, everyone else is busy with their lives."

"Yeah... you and me with this stupid heir thing..."

"Yuri being nowhere to be found..."

"Hyoyeon trying to be in solutitude as always..."

"Sunny with her new adult film promotions..."

"Jessica being suspiciously busy all the time..."

"Oh. And Yoong in hiding too..."

"And Taeyeon being so paranoid..."

"Huh?" I looked at him in confusion. "I don't think that last one is worth of a reason to be gone."

"Tiffany, Taeyeon being paranoid is like him becoming another person to the point you will never feel even a little presence of his real self."

"I see... Well, I've never seen him like that though. Why was he paranoid, anyway?"

"Like I said, Jessica's suspiciously busy nowadays. He told me that she started to become like that since a week ago."

"Actually, Jessica is sometimes like that. Though I'm her best friend, there were times back then when she will be gone for days or even weeks without telling me."

"And you didn't even try to interrogate her about it?"

"It will be pointless 'cus she'll never tell me anyway." But actually, she always does tell me afterwards and it's all because of her seeing another man while she's in a relationshi--- wait. Is she cheating again?!

Oh pickles. The senior-high-school Jessica Jung is really back?! But then, she told me so many times (after she suffered from amnesia of course) that Taeyeon is her 'one-true-love'. And now she's cheating on him?!

This sure is unbelievable. I have to find out about it myself then...

Sooyoung yawned, "Well, it seems I'm done with my purpose here." He stood up and stretched his arms lazily. "I'm going home now, Fany. Gotta get some sleep."

"Okay. Bye. Thanks for the info again."

"Sure, sure."

Hmm. I guess I need a time-out from searching for Yuri for a while. For now, it's time for my first mystery case to solve.

Facts about the case:

1. Taeyeon started to get suspicious of his girlfriend since 23rd or 24th of May according to Sooyoung.

2. Taeyeon sought help from Sooyoung to check if Jessica's REALLY at my place.

3. Sica's mysterious message for me, "If anyone will ask you where I am or if I'm with you, tell them I'M WITH YOU. Do you understand, bestie?", sent 9:38 am today, 31st of May.

4. Another message from her saying she has an errand, sent 11:26 am today, 31st of May.

What happened last 23rd or 24th? Where was she that time? Why would Jessica lie? Why would she want to conceal where she is right now? What exactly is going to happen today that she mentioned 'she has an errand'?

Hmm...

Damn it. I'm really not good in this! I hate thinking too much! Arrghhh---<
