Tiffany POV

"That's it? So you're breaking up with Yoong?"

"Yes." Jessica answered.

"..."

"..."

"You're... going to tell him everything about you and Taeyeon, right?"

She then looked down, "No. I'm planning to just run away with Taeyeon instead."

"I don't understand. Is this yours and his' plan?"

"No. This is just a decision of my own. But I'm gonna tell Taeyeon about it soon. I am certain enough he still loves me as much as I do. He'll accept my proposal."

"..."

"We have no future in Seoul, Fany-yah. His family is against our relationship. Besides, Yoong is here too. So we really have to run away. I want to live a peaceful life with Taeng and I'm sure enough I'll get that in a place somewhere else."

"No, you're not going anywhere."

"I'm sorry... but my decision's final."

I rashly grabbed her forearm and dragged her to the farthest away from the orphanage. "Are you really out of your mind, Jessica?!"

"I guess you can call it that way."

"Stop with your silly retorts. I am serious this time. We both know running away will never resolve anything. You're just going to make everything worse."

"I know. Running away may not but... Time can."

"..."

"I don't want Yoong to get hurt more. So, the past between me and Tae should just be left unsaid. This way, he can cope up with the fact we just fell apart all of a sudden and not because of a certain piece of my past."

"Why? Why you have to hide it from him? Are you really that afraid of him knowing?"

"Yes. I don't want him and Tae to kill each other out, Fany-yah. That past should just be in the past and should never be brought up."

"That's not what I meant."

She looked at me confusedly, "H-huh?"

"You're afraid... You're afraid he'll know you never loved him at all."

"That's not..."

"..."

"..."

"Am I right?"

She looked down. Still, the guilt from her eyes is visible in my view. "I loved him too..."

"Or you could just be lying to yourself."

"I did. I really did."

"Liar."

"SHUT UP! I loved Yoong that is why I'm not telling him about Taeyeon!" Tears started to fall from her eyes. "I don't want him to think I never loved him because that is the opposite. If I will just bring it all up, he'll definitely think I just played with his feelings. That's even how Hyoyeon sees it too. Can't you understand that?"

"You are being so unfair to him."

"I know. But it's better this way, Fany-yah. Please. Don't do anything reckless. I have to deal with this on my own."

"Fine. That's your choice. That's no longer my business. But all I just wanted from you is try to consider Yoong's feelings too. You think he'll accept that lousy falling-out alibi of yours that easy? That guy isn't an idiot. Hyoyeon wasn't right in everything she said about him at all."

"..."

"I hope you made the right decision, Jess."

"...You don't have to worry on that." She then looked down. "Now I know I'm making a right decision."

Another day has passed and still, my mind is totally clouded with so many thoughts. The thought of the heartbreak Yoong's going to feel in the coming days is the one that bothers me most. It's so unfair to him. All he just wanted is honesty from Jessica and yet he's not going to get any of it.

But then, come to think of it, I actually forgotten about Yuri's other woman. My best friend's situation is quite a real good distraction, I say.

Hmm... I feel like checking Yul's recent messages now though.

I put in its battery and opened my phone. Let's see... 53 new messages, 67 missed calls. Hmm- That's quite a number.

All of his messages were just all about his pleading of me to reply to him. But should I? I know Yuri's never gonna cheat on me but this situation really just irks me out. I hate it.

Oh wait... There's an MMS from an unknown number.

I opened it and attached was a picture of that woman who I assume was Hara with Yuri snuggling on her chest, sleeping soundly.

"AAAAAAAAARRRGGGHHHHHHHHH!!!!"

*CHOP!* one carrot dead with its other half flying away to the floor. Pfft. That should do it, you jerk!

"I wonder..." Hyoyeon snapped. "I wonder why the kids on the feeding programs we held didn't have stomachache. With that grudge of yours with vegetables, I am pretty much sure anyone who'll eat the food you prepared will definitely suffer."

"Shut up, Hyoyeon. It isn't your birthday anymore so quit bugging me around!"

"Come on. I'm just trying to cheer you up."

"Nothing will cheer me up!"

"Alright. What's the problem this time?"

I drew my phone from my pocket and smashed it on the table. "Here!" She then picked it up and looked. "Go to one MMS there and see it for yourself."

"Hmm... I see... She's really pretty, actually."

"AAAARRGHHHHH!" *Chop*

"Now I see why you're so upset. If she's not pretty, I am sure you will just laugh it off."

"Shut it. Pretty or not, she still irks me!"

"Yuri will never cheat on you. Like how he explained on his messages, he maybe just too drunk up so didn't remember anything." she said while scrolling Yuri's message history on my phone.

"Of course all of you will take his side. No one really takes my side here, saying I'm just overreacting!" *Chop!*

"It's not like that. We just know Yuri so well to the point we can actually foresee his future, you know."

"Let's not talk about Yuri for now, okay."

"What do you want to talk about then? Gossip about Jessica's dilemma?"

"No... I'd rather not. That ticks me off too... Let's talk about you instead."

"Errr- you do know enough my life's boring."

"So, how are you going with the kiss last time?"

"Fany, didn't I just say my life's boring?"

"There's no such thing as a boring life, okay. Now, answer me. About the kiss..."

"What kiss are you talking about?!" she asked, sounding a little annoyed.

"You know... your accidental kiss with Sooyoung the last time during Sunny and Jessica's fight?"

"I... don't remember..."

"Don't lie to me. Come on, no one's here but us. I'm good at keeping secrets."

"Alright, alright. You're far better than Jessica on keeping one, anyway."

"So... how was it???"

"It was shocking and that is it."

"Didn't you feel a thing?"

"Well... I guess I was caught off guard???"

"That's basically the same thing!"

"I don't know how to react on it, okay. It's all just an accident. Besides, I know he'll never return my feelings so it's nothing for me..."

"It's not the end of the world, Hyo. Who knows... maybe someday it will be you and him in the end."

"Nah. I made up my mind. I already moved on..."

"What do you mean?"

"I already have a boyfriend."

"I see..."

Wait.

"WHAT?!"

"I said I now have a boyfriend."
