Tiffany POV

One week has passed, and still, I didn't have luck on finding Yuri. Yes, I'm still on a search for him. You have all the right to call me stupid now.

*Sigh* I don't know what to do anymore. The more I try to reach for him, the more I feel the daggers strike deeper in my heart, the more my hope is vanishing. I will never get to see him again. I know that's the reality. I am really the World's greatest fool...

"Still feeling ed up?" Sooyoung said and sat down beside me in this one bench in the park. Apparently, he's helping me out too on searching for Yuri on this past week. He then asked me again, "Ice cream. Do you want one?"

"No, thanks..."

Then, he held my hand and placed the wrapper of ice cream on my palm, "Eat it. This is good to cure depression."

"I am not depressed."

He chuckled, "With that overly sad tone, you're not?"

"Shut up."

"Just eat it, okay. Trust me, it helps."

I sighed in defeat and just complied with what he wants. "I bet if this happened two years ago, you would have been so happy and gay, not even willing to help me out."

"Cut it out Tiffany. How many times you want me to tell you I don't want this marriage either? Can't you give me a break, at least?"

"Oh yeah? Then, tell me why you don't want this anymore, huh?"

"Like I said, I don't want to marry someone who doesn't love me back."

"Or you never really loved me in the first place?"

"Or you have already fallen for someone else?"

"Or maybe you've been in love with someone else ever since you were young and you're just not admitting it?"

"Damn that midget. He's such a blabbermouth. I'm so gonna kill him once I'll get to see him again."

"Yeah. Yeah. And you just reacted that way."

"Stop it! And hey, aren't we supposed to talk about your failed love life instead of mine?!"

"And you just called your situation with Hyoyeon a 'failed love life'. Boom right back at ya."

He sighed deeply, "Stop trolling me, Tiffany."

After a while, I decided to break the ice, "We're failures."

"Yeah..."

"Tell me, why are they doing this to us?"

"Oh you know the reason, Fany-yah. Ownership, capital acquisition... that's just it. If we'll get married, Chois will get the half of Hwang properties. Hwangs will then get the same from us."

"Isn't that just a no-win situation?"

"Yeah but it's not exactly. Your father and mine only allotted partial ownerships on both of us. Not only that, you can call this as an investment. It's also a broadening of market and demographics on our both sides, meaning, increase in revenues."

"Wow... I never thought you could speak like that."

"Yah! What's that supposed to mean?!"

I chuckled, "Well, I thought only Yuri and Yoong are the only ones that can speak that alien language. It turned out you can do it too."

"Shut up, will ya? I have the same major with Yuri, okay. Of course I know that alien language."

"Fine..."

"So, one week and still, we're zero percent clueless on your mighty boyfriend's whereabout. Are we gonna continue this marriage now?"

"Oh now you want us to get married?"

"Yah, I was just asking you!"

"Alright, alright. I was just kidding, okay..."

"So???"

"I don't want this. I will never ever tie the knot to someone else. And even if it will take me hundreds of years to find him, I will never stop. I will chase after him forever, whether he likes it or not."

"Wow. And you just hurt my feelings, Ms. Hwang. You are aware enough that 'someone' you're talking about is right here with you, right?"

He chuckled again, "Anyway, I have another plan."

"Be at your best behavior, Steph." my father whispered to me. He, my mom and I came inside the Choi mansion and were greeted by the maids. Mr. Jungnam had welcomed us with a greeting as he came down their central staircase, "The Hwangs, my future in-laws!"

He shook my dad's hand, peck a kiss on my mom's, and lastly, on my cheek. "You are so pretty and gorgeous, Stephanie. You really do look like your mom in her younger age." he said then chuckled.

My mom retorted, "Oh please, Jungnam. You're making it sound like I'm no longer beautiful."

He chuckled again, "No no no, you are still as beautiful as ever."

"Yeah, but old." Dad retorted and laughed by himself. And that emitted such a very awkward atmosphere.

We followed him and eventually took our seats at the dining. My father then asked him, "So, where's my future son-in-law?"
