You may consider my life ill-fated, particularly on financial terms. I was never been born with wealth. But when it comes to psychological aspect, I can say I am very much blessed. I have a loving little brother/son and now, I have a girlfriend/fake-wife. My life is already complete with them on my side. Sigh. I really couldn't believe I'm almost living my dream now, with exception of my dream house and car, of course (I'll get them someday, you'll see!).

Anyways, I know I am a very very considerate boyfriend. Tiffany's safety is always my priority. So that is why, I'm buying her a phone so in case of emergency, she would easily be traced.

"You are a total D.O.M. Hyung. Wait… Let me resent that. You are a total D.Y.M. - Dirty Young Man." Yoong said as we stroll along the gadget stores inside the mall.

"How can this be considered a 'D.Y.M.' thing? I'm just buying her a phone."

"Uhh, yeah? But you're buying her an expensive smartphone!"

"What's wrong with that? This is the trend nowadays. Oh this one's cool."

"Yeah nothing's wrong with that. What is wrong is that you will buy her an expensive smartphone YET you are still using a black-and-white outdated phone!"

"Yah! Don't you dare insult my phone! This has been with me for almost a decade and it got sentimental value! That's more than anything."

"Yeah right. But do you have enough money to buy her that?"

"Yeah. I saved enough... I guess."

But to be honest, no. I'm using my allowance for my books the next semester. But it's a very long way to go for that. Tiffany is more important. For now.

"I also got a part-time job in the construction site downtown so it's all covered up." I said proudly.

"Fine." He threw his hands up. "But I'll just wanna tell you, I got no money to lend you someday."

"Relax. If I will get short, I'll just borrow from Sooyoung, not from you."

"Hmmm. You do have a point there. But tell me, why on earth does Tiffany-noona need a smartphone?"

"Well. She's not good in remembering directions."

"Ehhhh... How does that related on this?"

"At least if she got a smartphone, she can use GPS."

"Dude, just buy her a map."

"Shut up. It's not only because of the GPS."

"And wha-"

"It's for her happiness, okay. End of questions."'

“How could buying her a smartphone equate to happiness?”

“Why are you asking me stupid questions?! I just wanted to buy her a present now, okay.”

"You are really sick, man." He said and shook his head.

"I'm home!"

"Welcome home, honey." Fany shouted from the kitchen.

"Welcome home, appa!" Sunkyu came running to me. "Where's mine?" He said.

"Relax kiddo. Show me your report card first."

"All set!" He then handed me his report card.

"Hmmmm." I sat down on the couch and analyzed his report card. "Not bad at all. I expected straight 'A's though. Why you got a ‘B’ in English?"

"Appa, English is difficult."

"Your mom is good in English, ask her to teach you."

"But I still don't like that subject."

"Okay. No PSP for you."

"Appa!!!" He whined.

"I'm just kidding. Here." I handed him the box.

"Thanks!" He kissed me on the cheek. He slumped on the floor and busied himself on unwrapping his new toy.

Tiffany then came out from the kitchen. "Aren't you spoiling him too much? You just bought him a Spiderman toy last week."

"Umma, it wasn't a toy. It's an action figure!"

"Whatever you say, sweetie." She said back. She gave me a kiss and sat beside me.

"Relax. He deserves it anyway. Besides, that console was on sale cus they just released a new model."

"Oh Okay..."

"And I got something for you." I pulled out the box from the paper bag and handed it to her. She was flabbergasted looking at the box.

"This is expensive!"

"Uhh- no. It's not."

"Take this back."

"Don't you like it? Look. It got a 2-megapixel front camera, you know, for selca thing?"

"I don't need a camera, okay."

"And this will help you out too in case you got lost. See. GPS navigation!"
