First Part: A Good Day to Hang-Out with Crazy but Awesome Friends
Romantic Street: A Detour To DestinyTiffany POV
Just like the old times.
Jessica and I are tasked on the food preparation. Since it’s almost lunch time, we decided to make brunch instead. We chose to prepare bacon, pancakes, omelets, waffles, mushroom soup, some mix-cut fruits, and Sunkyu’s ever favorite fried chicken. While we're on preparing them, the three boys played that Chinese warriors fighting game on Yul’s PlayStation 3 in the living room. We invited Hyoyeon, Taeyeon and Taecyeon to come eat with us too.
“Wow. Bestie, you’re getting better.” Jessica said as she tasted the omelet I prepared.
“Thanks. I guess I got trained by Taecyeon well enough. He’s a great teacher, I tell you.” I said while stirring the soup.
“Do you think Sunkyu will like the fried chicken I prepared?”
“Yup. You cooked it just right. The shredded cheese you added on the breading will definitely get him off guard.”
“Thanks.” She continued to cook the last of the pancake mix.
“Getting attached to kids nowadays?” I asked.
“Mmmmmm- slightly...”
“There. Finished.” I said. Jessica came near and took a taste of the soup. “Mmmmm- nicely done. You sure embraced the family-life so quick and perfect.”
“Thanks. I’ve been trying to cope up with motherhood when I was here months ago. I guess external trainings really do help.”
She then sighed, “I wonder when I will have my own family...”
“What now? You’re planning to make your own family this early age? Yoong told us about you taking interest in marriage and kids earlier.”
“He did?! Gosh- that guy’s really a blabbermouth.”
“Yup. Just like you.” I took out a bowl and poured in the soup.
“Yah. I am not!”
“You want an example? You told almost everyone Hyoyeon was pregnant and turns out she’s really not. It spread on school like wildfire, don’t you know that?”
“Alright! Fine. I’m guilty.” She then sat on the dining chair and rested her forearms on the table. “I’m thinking of moving in with Yoong.”
“Wow. That sure is a fast turn of event.”
“Hey, your situation’s faster than mine. You already lived with Yuri even before you guys started dating.”
“That isn’t counted. Yuri and I had a contract before. It just so happens we fell in love with each other.”
“So... you think Yoong will agree on us living together?”
“Hmmmm- that guy is truly madly deeply in love with you so I guess he will. Remember he agreed to extend your one-week to two-week vacation in Thailand because you just wanted to.”
“Hey. It wasn’t only me! We both decided it.”
“But bestie, are you sure on that? Living together is a big step in your relationship. You better think about it first.”
“You know I don’t have a family anymore. Well, I lived in solitude for a long time. And when Yoong came in, he made me feel I’m not alone again so I think maybe I can take that big step with him.”
“Well, if you ask me. You should go for it."
"So it's decided then. I'm going to tell him about it later."
"I’m so happy that you are really fulfilled on being with Yoong now. See? Giving yourself a chance to love again is worth a try, right?”
“Yeah... I’m so stupid for turning him down before.”
“What’s done is done. The good thing now is that both of you are together.”
“Yup.”
“There, we're all finished. Let’s call the boys.”
“Alright.” She came out of the kitchen and called in the three boys. Sunkyu excitedly ran his way to the dining and sat beside me. Yul came in and sat on my other side. Yoong and Jessica came in afterwards. Jessica sat beside Sunkyu and put him a bib. Yoong looked so surprised on what Jessica did and so was Sunkyu too.
"Errrr-" Sunkyu looked at her and was about to remove the bib from his neck.
"No. Don't remove that bib, Kyu-kyu. You'll stain your shirt." She said.
"But-"
"Kyu, listen to your aunt." I snapped and he looked at me in disbelief. "Umma!"
"Wear that bib, Kyu." Yuri said and bit his lip, trying to suppress his laughter. Little Sunkyu groaned in defeat. He then snapped out as if he thought of something evil. He smirked back at him, "Mmmm- It's been a while since I'm gonna eat REAL food." He stuffed his plate lots of chicken.
"What do you mean?" I asked.
"Appa didn't cook for me on these past months. He just orders out and sometimes he just gives me instant noodles."
I glared back at Yul, "You didn't take care of Sunkyu while I was gone?!"
"What?! I did, okay! And uhhmmm- We were always like this anyway!"
"He always drinks at night, not even thinking if I already ate or what!" Sunkyu butted in while devouring his food.
"Yah you little brat!"
"We'll talk later, Yuri."
"Hoho- you're dead meat hyung." Yoong said while stuffing his plate loads of pancakes and waffles.
"It's not his fault, Fany-yah. You left him broken hearted, remember?" Jessica said.
"So now it's my fault?!"
"Yup. You left me." Yuri grinned widely back at me.
"It's not entirely Tiffany-noona's fault either. You're the one who broke up with her in the first place, hyung, remember?" Yoong snapped in again and made Yuri shut up.
"Alright, moving on. Eat a lot now..." I poured soup on Yuri's bowl and stuffed his plate with bacon, omelet and waffles. I then leaned on him and whispered, "And we'll talk later."
"Yes, wife." He answered and started to eat. "Mmmm- this soup's so good. Who cooked this?"
"Me." I said proudly. He then leaned to me and kissed me on the lips, "I'm so lucky to have you."
"Yummy- so many yummy foods! I miss yummy foods." Sunkyu kept on devouring his food in a very fast pace. He's like having an eating battle with Yoong.
"Sweetie, don't eat too fast. Your stomach will not digest the food properly." I said. He gulped down his orange juice
