“Get up!” Minhwa commanded, kicking me lightly on the back. I groaned and tried to go back to sleep. Today was Monday, a day I really despised. Monday, the day Sarang and I will go to school together, since she’ll stay here for another week.

Oh, you weren’t informed? I’ll tell you everything then. After the B.A.P boys got home to see me already unconscious, they all went to bed except for Daehyun. He called the principal at around twelve o’clock in the morning to enroll Sarang for one week in S.A.S.

So, today, B.A.P will send us off to our school. Whoopty freaking doo.

“YAH! Are you going to let that fake piece of crap you call a human being make you sad for the whole day?!” Minhwa demanded, putting more force in her kick. I blindly threw one pillow at her, not caring if she dodged it or not.

“Yes,”

“Then you’re a coward,”

“Tell me something I don’t know,”

“Fine, I will. You don’t know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have. Today, and the following days to come, you have to be strong Namu. You shouldn’t let them ruin your day. That’s not the fierce Namjoo I know. Anyone related to me has to have a backbone, and you’ve got some of it. You just don’t show it,” Minhwa spoke.

I opened one sleepy eye and stared at her warily. She grinned mischievously, accomplishing the task of waking me up.

“You should be an inspirational speaker,”

“Oh, shut up. So will you go to school and show how Sarang how talented you are, or will you mope around all day?” Minhwa challenged, crossing her arms across her chest. I didn’t know what surged through me. It’s as if adrenaline was injected in my blood, and my body was just waiting for my command to use it.

Newfound determination replaced pity and sadness. Minhwa was right.

“I guess the first option is not so bad. But, I’m just a bit curious why you smiled like that. Do you have a plan brewing?” I asked cautiously, slowly getting up from my warm and comfy bed to start the day.

“Don’t worry. In Minhwa’s cook book, every food you might taste will sound and look bitter at first, but they will taste incredibly sweet later.” Minhwa grinned.

“GOOD MORNING NAMJOONGIE NOONA!” Jongup greeted as I stepped out of my room. He attacked me with a huge bear hug, almost crushing my respiratory system. He let go and smiled so bright, I almost got blinded.

“Yah dongsaeng! What has gotten into you today?” I asked playfully, pushing by him and smiling at Yongguk who was already grinning.

“Morning Namu. Go eat some breakfast. Today’s a big day!” Yongguk exclaimed, his eyes showing excitement. I backed away slowly to the dining area. Yongguk only gets excited when he knows something will go down. I have a feeling today’s event will be interesting.

I chuckled and crossed my arms as I stared at the table. I don’t exaggerate when I say Himchan made a buffet of food. Pancakes, cereals, ddeokbokki, gimbap, and chicken. Lots of it. Too bad Onew’s not here to enjoy the chicken with me. I kid.

“Chan oppa! Are you trying to fatten me up?” I asked, laughing a bit at Himchan’s hurt expression.

“YAH! I made this out of love and care!”

“And with ingredients, you dimwit,” I heard Zelo mutter as he passed by me. Himchan threw a spatula at him, but missed.

I took a seat on the table as the ‘lovebirds’ walked in. Sarang held Daehyun’s hand tightly, looking happy for today. Daehyun, however, looked extremely tired, as if he stayed up the whole night.

I was about to frown and sulk when I heard Minhwa’s voice in my head.

Don’t even think of pitying yourself. Talk to them as normal persons, and they’ll be totally fooled.

“Good morning Sarang! Did you sleep well?” I asked politely, grinning as I took a bite of my pancake. Sarang threw me a suspicious glance as I shrugged, happily eating the pancake. She rolled her eyes and turned to Daehyun who was already nodding off, his pancake and chicken lay forgotten on his plate.

“Yeobo! You have to eat vegetables and fruits instead of these kinds of foods! They’ll make you fat!” Sarang pouted as she put back the food of Daehyun. She went to the fridge and got out a bowl of fruit and salad. The bowl of fruit only consisted of pineapple and apple, and the salad had only three spinaches.

Daehyun looked at his new food warily, glancing at me quickly. Even if it was quick, I saw hunger in his eyes. I quickly made up an excuse for Sarang to leave us alone.

“Sarang, Super Junior is on, so-“

“DONGHAE OPPA!” She screeched as she zoomed out of the room and turned the TV on. I hurriedly got the bowl of fruits and salad and replaced it with my plate full of pancake, ddeokbokki and fried chicken.

I shoved the bowl of fruit and salad into Zelo’s waiting hands. He went to the fridge and put it in the freezer. Daehyun looked at me confusedly as I shrugged, hoping he would take the hint that I wouldn’t starve him to death like his dear girlfriend was trying to do.

“Thanks,” Daehyun mumbled, starting to eat his food. I was about to open my mouth to say “You’re welcome,” when Minhwa’s voice stopped me again.

If you dare say you’re welcome, you’ll be shoved in the next generation

“Whatever,” I answered in a bored tone, already getting up. I walked out of the dining room, seeing Sarang flipping through the TV channels, looking for Super Junior. I chuckled before getting ready for school.

“Class, today we’ll have two new students!” Ms. Hwang announced, causing loud chatter to erupt from the class. I sighed and increased the volume of my iPod, but not enough so I could hear what the teacher said.

“Please introduce yourself.” Ms. Hwang smiled at Sarang who smiled back shyly. I growled and tried to keep myself from pouncing on that feeble excuse for a human. Ob…viously I’m the only one who notices her fakeness. Anyone notice the Severus Snape reference? 

“Hello everyone! I’m Lee Sarang! Please treat me well!” Sarang greeted happily, bowing. To me, she just inclined her head. However, to everyone, they seem to see her already on her knees, bowing repeatedly. From their comments of her made me slightly right.

“She looks so innocent!”

“Look at those eyes!”

“Damn! I’d do that!”

“Silence!” Ms. Hwang scolded, and the chatter already died.

“Next, meet our second new student, Choi Jin Hee!” Ms. Hwang stated loudly, gesturing to the second transferee. I didn’t pay attention to the new girl Jinhee, mainly because I spent most of my time planning Sarang’s death.

However, I narrowed my eyes and studied Choi Jin Hee as she greeted politely, bowing ninety degrees.

Those brown eyes, square like jaw, that smirk that everyone thought was a smile..

I widened my eyes as I clutched my seat in horror.

One of my new classmates is Choi Junhong.
