"Another day in school. Whoop-ty freaking doo." I muttered as I shouldered my backpack. Not just another day to the students though, oh no. Today, we are going to celebrate the existence of idols. Yes, you guessed it, Kpop idols which, in my opinion, is stupid. 

Of course, if you say that to a die hard fan of SHINee, you will probably find yourself in a hospital. Let's hope not.

I'm Kim Nam Joo. A senior here in S.A.S, which is short for Seoul Arts School. Yes the very school my cousins, Minhaw and Jaehwa, studied in.

We were required to sit inside the auditiorium for a million years until all the kpop groups were done performing which was a waste of time, if you ask me.

"Lighten up Namjoo. Your scowl is more prominent than Mr. Hwang's beard." My best friend, Junghwa, said while smirking. I frowned deeper and crossed my arms across my chest, not enjoying like the others.

Finally, Mr Hwang, our principal, grabbed the microphone that was on the stage and faced the crowd.

"We are all gathered here today to celebrate the existence of idols, and-" Mr. Hwang stopped talking when BIGBANG interrupted him by coming out on the stage.

Fangirls from left and right started screeching like they were in pain as I covered my ears, hoping I'll still hear after this event.

"What's up everybody! We're BIGBANG!" Taeyang shouted, causing more fangirls to scream. I stared at Junghwa who was screaming along with the others. Seriously, how do they do that?

BIGBANG performed Fantastic Baby, Blue and Bad Boy. I admit they were good, but they were not my taste. I like a group who has an actual choreography in their dance. Nevertheless, great job BIGBANG.

Up next was 2NE1. This time, I smiled and cheered with the others. 

"Someone looks happy"

"Shut up" I countered, smiling slightly at Junghwa. After 2NE1 performed I Am The Best, Go Away and I Love You, next was B.A.P.

I was shocked at the response B.A.P got from the students. I thought their voice pitch can't go higher after screaming  for BIGBANG and 2NE1.

And as usual, I am wrong.

The BABYz and Warriors screamed, wolf-whistled, chanted, etc. Those were hardcore B.A.P fans.

"Uri B.A.P! Yes sir!" B.A.P greeted. Here comes the screams. 

"Annyeonghaseyo I'm B.A.P's leader, Bang Yongguk" The gummy smile guy greeted.

"Annyeong, I'm B.A.P's face, Kim Himchan." A good looking boy greeted, winking at the fans.

"Annyeong, I'm B.A.P's main vocalist, Yoo Youngjae" A cute looking one greeted.

"Annyeong BABYz! I'm B.A.P's Young- Ah, Daehyun." The shy looking one handed the mic to the boy next to him as I laughed aloud. Cute.

"Do I sense someone liking Daehyun?" Junghwa teased, elbowing me in the ribs. I rolled my eyes. You wish. Though I found Daehyun funny when he introduced himself wrongly.

"I'm Jongup, in charge of the choreography, and I can sing!" The bright smiley one said happily, causing laughter from the crowd. 

"I'm B.A.P's Zelo! Rapper, dancer alongside Jongup hyung, maknae and boyfriend of Kim Minhwa." The maknae said enthusiastically. I tilted my head sideward, wondering why Zelo would introduce himself like that.

Eh, the BABYz accepted Minhwa and Zelo together anyway. No harm done.

B.A.P performed Warrior, Power and then No Mercy. I thought that after they performed, they'd leave. Wrong again.

"We proprose a game! It's called, The Pocky Game!" Himchan announced, sending BABYz over the edge.

"Daehyun will be the first player from our group! Any female representative of S.A.S that would like to join?" Himchan asked. Something in his voice told me that he knew not only one female will raise their hand.

A bunch of hands shot up in the air around me. Junghwa elbowed me. 

"You are going up there" She insisted. "Why? So I can embarrass myself? No way." I grumbled as I slumped futher down my seat.

Junghwa huffed and stood up on her seat. 

"This girl is the cousin of Kim Minhwa and Kim Jaehwa!" Junghwa stated loudly. My eyes widened as I frantically pulled Junghwa down from her seat. But, it was too late and the damage was already done. And I was going to kill my best friend.

"Okay! You there! Come up on stage!" Himchan said loudly. Some cheered for me as I numbly walked up on the stage. I'm pretty used to it, since I danced on this stage for four years. Yet, it feels weird when you're up here with a popular idol group.

"What's your name?" Jongup asked brightly, jumping beside me, causing me to have a mini heart attack. It's either he drank too many energy drinks or he was naturally hyper.

"K-Kim Nam Joo." I managed to say without getting tongue tied.

"Are you really the cousin of Minhwa?" Youngjae asked curiously, there was a tiny bit of fear that flashed through his face.

"Yes" I answered back confidently. I saw Himchan exchange looks with Yongguk. It clearly said, 'here we go again'.

"Well, then Ms. Kim Namjoo, how old are you?" Himchan asked. 

"18" I responded, smiling slightly. "Same age as our Daehyunnie here. Well then Namjoo, please bite the other end of the stick, if you know what I mean." Himchan said in a knowing voice, which caused Yongguk to hit Himchan on the shoulder and the BABYz to laugh.

I chuckled and got the Pocky stick from Jongup and bit the chocolate part. "I wanted the chocolate part." I heard Daehyun whine playfully as he bit the other end. I rolled my eyes at his childish behavior but smiled at his cuteness.

"Ready.. set.. start!" Youngjae shouted, and the BABYz cheered. I bit in the stick first, next was Daehyun. We bit a little part of the stick until we were so close, our bodies were touching. Since he was a bit taller than me, I tip toed a bit.

We were only a centimeter apart. Who will go in for the kill?

"Omo, looks like neither is going to back down. Who do you think will end the game? Daehyun or Namjoo?" Himchan stated, causing the fans to pick sides.

I looked into Daehyun's eyes and, somehow, I understood.
