“Taemin-ah.” Minho called out right after receiving a message from Ji Eun. Taemin, who was busy eating on the table, looked at him innocently. “Bring your plate with you and go to Onew hyung’s house.” He uttered.

“Eh? Why?” Taemin looked at him innocently. “Why would I go there?” He asked.

“Taeminnie… Once hyung got married, I swear, you will have all the time alone in this dorm. I promised that to you, so can you please allow hyung to be alone for just quite a while? I’ll message you right away when I’m done meditating with myself.” He said.

“What if you need anything? Who will get it for you? You can’t walk right now, hyung.” He said.

“It’s fine.” Minho uttered.

“How about food? You still don’t have any food. Do you want me to get some from Onew hyung’s house?”

“Ji Eun will cook.” Minho bit his lower lip when he realized he just spilled it out. Taemin looked at him as if he got what he meant already.

“Yeahhh… hyung.” He teased and stood up, bringing with him the plate with rice and fried chicken. “I understand. I told you, you should tell everything honestly to me so I could understand. What’s wrong with telling Taemin-ah, you should go away because Ji Eun will come and I want to spend time alone with her…” Taemin imitated Minho’s voice. “That’s easy! Aish!” He shook his head and walked out of the dorm, with foods on plate, still chewing.

Few minutes later and he called Ji Eun.

“I’m almost there.” Ji Eun uttered when she answered the call.

“The door might be locked and I won’t be able to open it for you.” Minho uttered. “052508” He recited the password of the door.

“Eh?”

“052508 – Pressed it to unlock the door.” He repeated.

“I got it.” She smiled and ended the call.

10 minutes later and Minho heard someone pressing the pass for the door. It clicked. Minho smiled at the thought of Ji Eun unlocking the door.

Minho imagined Ji Eun peeking from the entrance while holding a bag of ingredients from the grocery store.

“I arrived.” Ji Eun entered the door and walked inside holding a bag full of veggies, meat, and others that she will be cooking for Minho. “So how are you?” She went straight to the kitchen to put down the groceries. After that, she went to Minho and checked his injured foot. “It’s getting better.” She smiled at Minho and looked around, “But where is Taeminnie? He is supposed to be staying here right now because you still need some assistance.” She said.

“That kid went out to get some food from Onew hyung.”

“He left you here alone?” Ji Eun’s eyebrow almost met while frowning. “How could he do that? Leaving his hyung alone just to find food for himself? He has no plans of coming back soon?” She asked. Minho shook his head. “That kid…” She stood up and sighed, “It’s alright. I’ll cook for you so you don’t have to envy him.” She smiled and went back to the kitchen.

She started putting out all the ingredients and below the bag was the kimchi jar he brought again for Minho to eat. She put it straight to the fridge and went back to the table to prepare all the things that she will need.

She noticed Minho was being all silent so she looked at him, only to find out that Minho was staring at her, watching every move that she’s doing. She retreated and secretly blushed. “Minho-yah… You can watch television for a while. Make yourself busy.” She did that while not looking at him. Ji Eun then heard the sound of television. She secretly thanked him for following her so as not to look at her anymore.

But Ji Eun herself cannot refrain herself from looking at Minho. She secretly peeked at his direction and had to turn her head back again when she noticed that Minho was still looking at her, not minding the television at all.

On the other hand, Minho was drawn into seeing how Ji Eun was skilled in the kitchen. She seems to know every bit of kitchen works, and he loves how Ji Eun’s back move gracefully and her hair was effortlessly tied up in order not to be a disturbance for what she is doing.

The view of her back facing at him is such a nice sight for Minho. Now he realized why Onew hyung always wants to sit at the dining table while Soojin cooks at the kitchen. Now he understands why Jonghyun hyung just suddenly hugged Choonhee while she was cooking, and now he understands why Key is always pissed every time Chae In gave up cooking.

There was this certain song he can recall that was never released as an official SHINee song up to date. He remembered a certain line from it and it says:

I’ll compliment every bit of your greatness so as not to regret saying nothing in the end.

“Ji Eun-ah.” He called out and she immediately looked him.

“You need anything?” Ji Eun asked.

He shook his head, “I just want to let you know I find you beautiful.” He said and smiled. “I just thought maybe I should say it, better than to regret not saying it later on.”

Ji Eun looked at him speechlessly. Minho got a little bit awkward and switched his attention to the television instead.

“Uhmm…” was all Minho can utter the moment he tasted Ji Eun’s cooking. He didn’t utter any words again. He spent the entire time eating the food and tasting every bit of it up to his liking.

Ji Eun was overwhelmed at how Minho eats the food with full appetite. She wasn’t aware she was staring too much until a spoonful of food was aimed towards . She stared at Minho, confused at why he was doing that.

“It’s not fun to eat alone.” He said while smiling at her. Ji Eun opened and allowed Minho to feed him. “I know how to cook, too. When I get better, I’ll cook something for you.” He said and sliced a meat again and feed her the 2^nd time. Ji Eun opened again and ate what Minho fed her.

**MINHO POV**

The thing is, I don’t know how to say it. I gathered up all my courage to tell her I find her beautiful, and finding the right courage to tell her I like her is a whole different story. It’s something that can make my knees shake if I ever confessed to her while standing up. Good thing I have the injury, at least it’s an excuse.

I fed her, not just because I want to be sweet, I also want her to eat. She’s so thin I think I also have the responsibility to make her healthier. Guys like her slender body, but I would at least prefer to see her healthier than this.

“Minho-ssi.” Ji Eun uttered after she finished eating the last spoonful that I fed her.

“Yeah?”

“Isn’t it just right to say what you want to say so as not to regret saying nothing in end?” She asked me. I looked at her. Is she trying to tell me I should be honest to myself? Is she already feeling that I like her? Should I confess?

“Uh… yeah. I think so.” I answered.

“I like you.” I was caught off guard. I didn’t expect her to say it, not until I am able to confess first. I looked at her. I think my eyes were wider than usual.

“Look… please don’t feel burden about me saying this. It’s not like I’m expecting you to like me back.” Ji Eun started explaining. “I just felt like I should say this since like what you said, I don’t want to regret not saying anything in the end. You see, I like you the same as I love you are not questions but rather expressions, so I don’t expect you to answer it. I just want to tell it to you and don’t mind it. I wished nothing would change despite the fact that you know how I will. I promised I won’t make it awkward.” She said continuously.

Do you know what I hated just now? The fact that she gathered enough courage more than I do. She got all those strength to confess while I was just gathering them right now. I hated how she did it first. My pride was hurt for a while.

“I should’ve said that first.” I looked at her. It was an awkward confession. I always imagined this situation to be me confessing to the girl I like first. “And don’t expect that nothing would change.” Minho paused for a while and shook his head. “This is crazy. I don’t even know if I like you, too are the right words to utter. Can I just hug you?” I spread my arms and she allowed me to hug her. I hugged her, her ears are placed directly on the place of my heart. “Can you hear it?”

“Your heartbeat?” Ji Eun uttered, almost whispering. “I hear it, and it’s beating fast right now.”

“I envy and hate you at the same time for gaining the strength to confess first while I was just gathering enough courage to say it.”

“You don’t have to say it, really.” She said.

I faced her to me and said, “I like you, and I can only tell how much by showing it to you.” I smiled and gently planted a kiss on her forehead, then I went down a little bit to her nose, then lastly, to her cheeks.

A kiss on the forehead means I care for her…

A kiss on the nose means she’s someone I only look at…

A kiss on the cheek means she’s special…

And a kiss on the lips would mean I want her to be with me forever…

Choi Minho: Messing up my bias list for the first time after almost 3 effin' years. For once I felt so scared losing Onew on the top spot. Seessshhh... I was making Minho look so handsome and great that I almost want to make him my bias. This person really... he beated Taemin on the 2nd spot now I love him next to Onew. Sh*t, what just happened.
