Author's Note: Second update for the day :) Haha my sister's out FREEEEDOM! This is a long update kind of but I hope you enjoy it. I'm like super late but I can't get Chaser by Infinite out of my head, they're so daebak <3 hopefully I used that right. Remember Mandarin in this color.

(Author’s POV)

“Is it true, your niece is back in town?”

“Geurae, how’d you know AhIam?” SunWoo asked, sipping her tea.

“When I stopped by SangMa’s shop she told me.” The woman answered smiling. “I heard she’s grown up so much. She must be beautiful being JinAe’s daughter.”

“But how is ShenLei? We haven’t seen him in ages!” a man exclaimed.

“He’s good JiHuang, he sends his greetings.” She stated.

“That’s nice to hear. Will we get the honor to meet her tomorrow?” AhIam cooed locking hands with her husband as anticipation filled the room.

“At the banquet, neh. I will personally make the introductions.”

“One more thing SunWoo, mianhe. We’re sorry that we weren’t able to keep the promise we made with JinAe.” JiHuang sincerely apologized.

“Ah, gwenchana. We understand. But who knows maybe things will change once they meet each other.” SunWoo chirped optimistically.

....

“How was your meeting?” YunHee glanced at the door hearing her aunt enter.

“It was alright. How do you feel after your first manicure, pedicure and facial?”

YunHee giggled at the thought when she recalled the experience. All she knew was those things tickled her.

“Odd, but once I get back to farming it’ll feel better!” she beamed.

“Nonsense! You’ll do no labor of that sort here.” Ms. Kim retorted.

“Of course I won’t.” YunHee replied sarcastically. “When will this day end?” she muttered exhausted.

“If you’re tired Yunnie go to bed.” Ms. Kim suggested.

“That sounds like a great idea,” she paused and then resumed. “If anyone needs me I’ll be upstairs.”

“And Yunnie, we’re going out tomorrow at twelve sharp. We need to get your hair and makeup done. I already have your jewelry picked out so we won’t have to worry about that. Don’t forget, arasso?” Ms. Kim reminded. YunHee turned around and nodded.

.....

(YunHee’s POV)

“Here we are!” I cheered finding the address on the business card. It was a rather rowdy and busy street. Businesses were aligned side by side so closely together it made me feel claustrophobic. I was glad to finally find this renowned hotel after parading up and down the streets this morning. Thank god Ahjumma convinced me to get some rest or I’d be a zombie roaming around here!

I stared up at the sign of the immense building as I laughed in disbelief. What the hell was I even doing here in the first place? I could’ve simply turn these things to the police and get it over with…but I don’t know something inside of me was pushing me here. It was a gut feeling. Right as I was about to open the door a man had beat me to it. “Kamsahamnida.” I suppose not all city dwellers are bad.

“No problem madam, it’s uhm…my job.” Oh a job, and here I thought he was doing it genuinely and out of choice. After that I lost interest barely looking at him. Tch, wait did he call me madam?! What the flapjacks.

“Madam? Do I look that old?” I asked half joking.

“Aniya, but if you want to see old, check her out.” The man signaled over to a woman whose skin was so wrinkled her cheeks sagged over her face as he cackled. She was old there was no question, but if it one thing I adored it would have to be senior citizens. Growing up with Harabeoji I grew very fond of these elderly folks. They were fragile like ancient porcelain vases.

They needed to be handled with the utmost care. I stiffened at the doorman’s poor attempt to make a joke as my face became stale. “She wears loads of makeup. She believes sh

Chapter 20: Is it me or don't you think this chapter it too unrealistic cause you can't be under investigation without knowing before hand and the accusations is just too fake cause he doesn't work for the government.
