(Author's POV)

            “Who’s that?” The girl questioned seeing YunHee standing behind Kris dumbfounded. YunHee snapped out of her thoughts as she lifted the panda from the ground. Kris turned around and walked over to her.

            “TaeLa I would like you to meet my girlfriend YunHee. YunHee this is TaeLa, she attends school with XiaZi. She’s like another dongsaeng!” Kris announced. YunHee’s face flushed at the word ‘girlfriend’ since they never used those types of labels publicly.

            “Jinjja? Unnie you’re so pretty! Oppa you’re quite lucky!” TaeLa beamed as she smiled like she was the Cheshire Cat. YunHee chuckled a little and nodded her head. She was worried over nothing. Immediately TaeLa rushed over and hugged her tightly. “Are you guys on a date?”

            “Neh. And so far it’s the best date I’ve ever attended.” Kris replied as he took YunHee’s hand in his own.

            “Aw, I’m jealous. Kyeopta! Hehe but I came here with a few classmates and they went on a scary ride would it be okay if I waited with you guys just until they’re done?” TaeLa requested as she cutely batted her lashes.

            Kris looked at YunHee waiting for her approval and her response was a shrug. “Sure we can sit at the food court.” He answered leading the way.

            “Andwae Oppa! I was only seven. I didn’t know what was going on. XiaZi told me it was the new trend!” TaeLa argued while Kris was laughing his head off.

            “Who, who wears boy’s boxers on their heads?” he chortled as TaeLa playfully slapped him. YunHee didn’t have any idea what the two were talking about. She felt awkward. TaeLa and Kris were sitting at one side of the table whereas YunHee sat across from Kris… alone. It was as if she was the intruder on their so called date. Matter of fact it looked like they were more of a couple than herself and Kris.

            YunHee couldn’t help but feel a prick of jealously as she stared at the prize she had won for Kris. A soft smile replaced her frown. “Excuse me,” the three looked up to find a man holding a camera. He was an employee seeing he had the same uniform on as the lady at the booth. “You guys look like a loving couple, may I take a picture?”

How awkward he had been referring to TaeLa and Kris. YunHee wanted to object as she met eyes with Kris. He opened his mouth but was cut off.

            “Sure! Oppa just one photo please! We haven’t seen in each other in forever! You wouldn’t mind right Unnie?” TaeLa practically begged as she performed an aegyo. YunHee agreed reluctantly as she saw the two posing.

            “Put your arm around her. It’s more romantic.” The photographer instructed but before Kris could deny TaeLa took his arm and put it around her shoulders.

            “Say Kimchi Oppa.” After the photo had been taken the man handed them the picture as Kris gave him the amount due. “Wah we look so good here! Don’t you think so?” YunHee peered over at the photo and they did look good. TaeLa wasn’t doing any weird faces like she had done earlier.  

            “Aigoo TaeLa looks cute in any photo!” Kris commented ruffling her hair. “I have to go to the bathroom I’ll be right back.” As he got up he kissed YunHee on the top of her head sweetly before he departed. She couldn’t help but smile until she heard a scoff. She faced TaeLa who had her grin wiped off.

            “Dongsaeng is something wrong?”

            “Don’t call me dongsaeng!” TaeLa snapped. YunHee’s eyes widened. TaeLa was a whole new person as she rolled her eyes. “Didn’t you hear? Ahjusshi said Oppa and I looked like a loving couple! Not you and him, but me and him!”

            YunHee began biting the inside of her lip. Now she knew what was going on. She knew something was off simply by the way TaeLa looked at Kris. She was in love with him there was no doubt about it. Obviously he didn’t feel the same since he called her his dongsaeng earlier. But then again he also addressed Yunnie as that before they got romantically involved.
