“Your Highness . . . . we had found Lady Kim . . .”

“Really? Where is she? Is she alright?. . .”

“Yes, My lord . . . . but we have to take her to the safe house first, to be sure that she’ll be safe from the Northern faction, as we all know, they’ve been accusing her for treason”

“Good decision, Captain Cha . . . now, I am relieved to know that shes fine, for now I assign you to get the full evidence against their allegations to Lady Kim, we have to clear her name, before they find out  that we already have her.”

“Yes Your highness . . .” And Officer Cha, runs as what the prince ordered him to do. Meanwhile, Lady Kim, was secretly brought to the prince’s private residence outside the palace.

 

“Ahh May I ask, where am I? and what am I doing here?” Lady Kim ask some of the attendants.

“Ahh we were ordered to bring you safely here in the private residence of his highness, the crown prince, Lady Kim”

“What? The prince? . . .Jeoha? . . .” and the attendants bow at her.

“But why? . .how . . .Who gave you this order?”

“I did . . .” A voice of a man suddenly speak behind them and to her surprise, it was the prince . . .

“Lady Kim! . . .Lady Kim? . . .” The prince kept calling her but she couldn’t heard him, she was surprise to see a royal man standing in front of her, calling out her name, because she didn’t answer him, he called her name again, and this time, with a harsh voice.

 

 

“LADY KIM? . ..LADY KIM?!! . . .LADY KIM!!!!! . .. .KIM TAEYEON!!!!!!”

 

 

 

“Ahhhh!! . . .” It was a dream again. I didn’t notice that I was already sleeping at my sit, here in the canteen, if it weren’t for this woman beside me, maybe I already made this area as my bed.  

“Yah! Kim Taeyeon!” for the nth time, Yeri shout at me again.

“What?! . . .Why do you kept on shouting . . Yeri ah, it hurts my ear”

“And do you think, calling your name, for a hundred times, doesn’t hurt my throat? I also get hurt ok? I’ve been talking here for minutes thinking that your listening, but when I turn at you, you were already sleeping, Girl!. . I look crazy, talking to myself here. . . .”

 

“Ahh Sorry . . .Sorry Yeri ah . . .I just cant help it . . .”

“Are you ok? Don’t you have enough sleep last night? You look groggy and haggard today , good thing Mr. Kang didn’t caught you dozing off with your mouth wide open in the class . . .”

“Hmmm . . . Something unexpected happened this morning . . . I woke up too early, thats why”

“Eh? . . .what time? . . .”

“ahh Like 5am . . .”

“huh! . . .” and as expected Yeri violently reacted.

“Wait . . . Baek? . . .Baekhyun is that you? . . . “ and I throw her a deadly glare, but she just laugh.

“Did I heard this right?, you woke up at 5am? That early? Wow, looks like the end of the world is coming real fast”

“Chill Yeri, you’re over reacting, I have my reason ok”

“Ok spill it . . . ”

“My sister finally got her job yesterday, but she has to leave the house for the meantime, for her training in Busan, cause you know, she’s a junior specialist manager now, so she told me the good news last night but the bad news is she moved out this morning, leaving me with Baekhyun at home, cause you know, she don’t trust me on living alone , so she called him up, that’s why I am so sleepy today, imagine . . . she woke me up at 5am just to know that Baekhyun is already there. Can’t you believe that? She could have let Baekhyun move in without waking me up that early, she can leave a note, just like what she always do, instead of disturbing my beauty rest.”

“Wow . . . so Baekhyun already move in to your house this morning, hmm . . . now I know why, you look like a zombie . . .hahaha . . . . for how long will he stay in your place?”  

“I don’t know . . . Boa Unnie said that she will stay there, for the whole time of her training, so I guess, 2 or 3 months”

“Wow, lets say 3 months, so I’ll see you looking like a zombie for 3 months now, maybe I should start getting used to that.”

“YerI!!!” and she just laugh.

 

Its already half a day since Baekhyun move in with me, and I still cant move on from this morning. I didn’t know that this is what his daily life looks like. I know him, being so clean and organize but I didn’t know that he was more than what I think of him.

 

“Bye Unnie! . .  Don’t forget to call me if you have time?”

“I wont forget that, just behave Taeyeon, And Baekhyun . . “

“Yes, Noona . .”

“Keep an eye on my Taeyeon . . .and the favor I ask you, don’t forget . . I’m counting on you”

“Wait, what favor?” I ask.

“Secret, Its just between me and your friend.

“Ahhh I hate you!”  

“hahaha Dont worry Noona, I’ll take care of this young lady here, She’ll be fine”

“Ok ok  . . I’ll go now . . . Bye Guys! . . .” after bidding our goodbyes, I hurriedly walk up the stairs to sleep some more, but then this guy, suddenly called me up to ask me to boil him some water.

“You do it yourself Baek, I;m still sleepy, just go straight there, and you’ll reach the kitchen”

“Ahh Taeyeon? This is your house, and I’m not used to walk around on somebody’s house”

“Oh Come on Baekhyun, its still early, and what are you doing with the hot water?’

“What do you think? Of course, I’ll use that to make a coffee.”

“Just do it yourself Baek, Please? since today you’ll live here, I think you should start to feel at home, Have mercy on me Baek, I can’t take to wake up this early, I’m not like you”

“Well I think its about time, to change Taeyeon, so come on . . . and join me for a coffee”

“What? . .” I frustratingly said, I know he hides it but I saw him smile, which adds to my irritation.

“Come on, I’ll keep you awake, don’t worry . . .” and he pulled me down and force me to lead us to the kitchen.   

 

 

This is just the first day, of the 90 days that we will be living together, so I hope that I can endure him and try to blend in with his lifestyle, cause you know, we must blend with each other so we can have a better life as housemates.

 

“Since you’re living with a man now, especially with Baekhyun, I guess you should change for a bit, start being a lady Taeyeon . . . stop being dirty”

“Ouch . . . Thank youfor you compliment Yeri . . . Thank you!” I sarcastically said.

‘What? I’m just saying the truth, now that a descent man is living with you, you should start being a descent lady”

“Yeri, we were just a temporary housemates, I didn’t got married to him. Why would I change for him? He should change for me, cause he’s living with me.”

“But your sister ask him a favor, so you should follow him, cause he did a favor for you”

“i didn’t told my sister to ask him the favor, my sister decide on that alone, and besides, he’ll stay in our house, and its my rules so . . .he should be the one following me”

“Ah what ever . . . I just hope, no . . . I pray that you two get along, really well . . .”

“I’ll tell you Yeri, soon Baekhyun will be the one following me, he’s scared of me, in just one word, he’ll follow me”

“Oh really? . . .ok, let see . . .if that happened”

 

Baekhyun and I were friends, but were mortal enemies as well, because were too far different from each other, from the looks and attitude, it would be hard for us to agree on one point, although we agreed on history subjects, but usually it takes a long discussion before we mutually agreed on something. I think, miracle is what we need to make our lives easy.          

 

“So I got to go, I have my night out with my girls tonight, so I should prepare myself,”

“Wait, night out? Isn’t it the dinner party with Joy and Seulgi . . .”
”Yeah . . and I think I’m late now, so got to go . . .”

“Wait, can I join?”

“Don’t you have your work tonight?”
”Duh. . . its Friday today, I only work, through Thursday . . .So Can I? . . Please . . .I’m free tonight“

“Ahh no no no, remember you’re living with Baekhyun now, so your out of our night fun for now”

“What?! . . .its not fair Yeri . . .”

“Hahaha whatever you say, still no . .  so have a good night . . .Bye!” and Yeri walks off her way, leaving me hopeless on my spot.

“Ahh  . . .So what will I do now? Go home? . . .” I thought, as I drink my milk tea. I think of a possible things to do, cause I don’t want to go home yet, its still early, but as I was thinking my great-wall suddenly came in.

“There you are . . I’ve been looking for you . . .Taeyeon”
”Oh . . . what are you doing here Baekhyun?”

“Ahh looking for you? . . . aren’t we suppose to go home now?” he ask.

“Nahh . . . you can go home first, I’ll stay for a bit . . . you have you’re spare keys so, you can go home now . . .”

“Oh ok . . .” he was about to walk away but then he stop, he looks at me, closely and stare for a minute. I find him weird, him looking at me for so long, but then . . .   

“Do you have any plans tonight?” I was surprise by his question.

“Ahh no . . . not yet, I am thinking now . . .”

“Oh  . . .ah by the way, I forgot to give you this morning . . .”and he gave me the envelope.

“What is this?”
”Open it . . .” and he smiled, It was so random, but I like how he smile, he was like a different person when he smile.

“Wow! . . . this is . . .” I was speechless

“Just what I told you last night, thats the extra tickets for your favorite movie . . . so have you decided who you want to go with?”
”Ahh actually no . . .. not yet . . “

“Thats ok, maybe you can find someone later, that ticket is valid till next week so. . .”

“Ahh wait a minute . . . I think I have one now . . .”

“Really who? . . .”

“You!” Baekhyun open wide his mouth in surprise, and it was his funniest expression he ever did, I didn’t really ask someone to go with me, I intended to force him to go with me, I knew how he hates cinemas, so as a generous and grateful person I am, I chose him.

“Taeyeon,No! . .  you know how I hate cinemas, I am scared of the dark, and I fall asleep on that, I don’t want to go with you, Please! . . . just pick someone else.” He tried to back out , but then I remembered what he said to me this morning.     

“Oh come on Baekhyun, remember, my sister ask you to take care of me, so  . . .whether you like it or not, you’ll go with me and besides I think its about time, to change Baekhyun, so come on . . . the movie is waiting, and Don’t worry I’ll keep you awake . . .” I said as I pulled him by the hand.

“Wait that’s my line a while ago? . . .” he surprisingly ask.

“I know, that’s why I’m using it to you . . .” I said.

  

In no time, we reach the movie house, and were just right in time before the showing time.

 

“Ahh Taeyeon, please! . . . can you just go alone? Or go on another day, just not with me, I hate entering dark rooms.”

“Dont worry, Baek, I’ll use a flashlight on the way, and I wont leave you . .. I’ll stay by your side” I know I force him, but I still have my concern for him cause I know that he really hates this, I can see it in his eyes, he’s scared. He’s really scared of the dark, I remember one time, he told me that he was once lock up in the auditorium for the whole night when he was young, there’s was no light and the atmosphere there was scary for him, he gets a phobia because of that incident. I can feel his terror, when he told me that story, even if that happens to me, I will surely get a phobia, or worst I could die on that moment, specially that I was a bit paranoid little kid before, I can’t afford to stay in the totally dark room all night. It must be a nightmare for him, but like what he said, change should start now, so as a nyctophobia he is, I can see his uneasiness, so as a prankster but caring friend I am, I hold his hand and smile at him, giving him the assurance that I wont leave him.

 

“Wait Baekhyun, stay here . . . I’ll buy some popcorn . . “

“Ahh no no . . I’ll do it . .. “
”Ahh No! . . . You might get away if you do, I’ll go ahead and buy the snacks, you stay here”

“No no, I’ll do it, and I promise I wont get away, I’m already here so I have no choice but to go with you, so let me do it . . .”

“Ok if you really insist, then go ahead . . . I’ll keep an eye on you, don’t you dare run away, or I’ll really get mad at you. “

“Huh . ..  ok ok . ..I’ll buy now” and he walk off to the popcorn booth. I just look at him, from head to toe, I stare at him. I study the way he walk and the way he talk to the lady cashier.

“Hmmm . . . he has some good posture . . . probably because of his daily exercise every morning, maybe I should . . .do it sometimes, I look a bit square . .. “ I thought then I look at my body.

“ahhh what am I thinking?” I just laugh at myself. I look at him again, and notice his side profile.

“hmmm . . . he has a good side profile, and his jaw line . . . damn! . . . they were right, he was hot!” I thought. But what thing I’m sure, he never smile, even to girls he talk to, he never smile to them

“. . .Thats ode?” I unconsciously said

“What’s ode?” I was too overwhelm by my random thoughts that I didn’t notice he was already standing in front of me,  

“Oh nothing . .. so did get some?”

“ahhh yeah, theres only one bucket left, so I think we have to share . . .”
”Oh no problem on that, I can finish this whole bucket alone, so we really have to share”

“oh O-Ok” He awkwardly said. After some minutes it was time for the showing. I can see that his already getting tense, so . . .

“Here . . . hold this . .” I gave him the bucket of popcorn and I hold his hand.

“You’re like a kid, entering a horror cave . . . relax its just a movie theater . . . .” I said.

“Sorry”  

“Its ok . . . I’ll hold your hand, don’t loose your grip on me, I’ll lead you inside, you can close your eyes, if you want . . . Don’t worry I’ll guide you”

“No, no need for that . . . I’ll try” and with a stronger heart, he faced his fear. Although he take some time, every steps, and understand him, this is just the beginning for him to start over overcoming his fears.

After some minute, we swiftly reach our seats.

“Wow, that was good Baek, you did it” and I gave him a thumbs up, making him smile for a bit. There were only few of us in that movie house, indeed, History topics often gets ignored nowadays, but at least I have the whole movie house alone. After a few minutes of the movie, I can feel his hand getting loose now,I look at him and he was comfortably watching the movie, no more fear or nervousness, being in the dark room. I keep on holding his hand as I promise that I wont let go of him.

 

“What are you looking at?” I was surprise to his question.

“huh? . . . “

“I said, why are you looking at me, don’t try to deny it, I knew your staring at me”

“Ahh . .  I was just checking on you, if you feel comfortable now . . .”

“And What did you see?”

“Your much comfortable now . .. “

“So? Focus on the movie, not on my face.” he simply said, with a serious tone.

“Wow! . . Sorry ok . . . I was just concern about you, but I guess your fine now, so I can let go of your hand. . . Mister!” I annoyingly said as I throw his hand off me. Sometimes he’s ok, but most of the time, he’s annoying to be with, just like now.

 

I focus back at the movie, on which I am more interested than him.  

 

“Huh . . . Feeling! . . .Who said that I like looking at his face? Huh . . .” I told myself. We stayed quiet for a bit , our eyes are focusing on the big screen but our hands keep working, getting into the bucket in between us.

“Ah Sorry . . . .” he said as he immediately pulled away his hand, when he unexpectedly touch my hand.

“Huh . . .why do I l feel like your getting disgusted over me? Am I that dirty?” I annoyingly said, but he didn’t respond. I really gets annoyed when he starts being untouchable, like . . . whats wrong with me for him to act like that?
