Makeshift Picnic
141224 The Day We Got Back Together
xuanmiin: Kwon's point of view.

We were just sitting around in a shady spot. By we, I’m referring to Buk, dad, mom and I. I’d already had my tearful reunion with dad and mom and now we were having a makeshift picnic with about 2 bottles of orange juice.
Yes, I had fulfilled my obligation of completing 22 months of military service, and I was enjoying my newly regained freedom. Only that Buk was waiting for his parents to pick him up, and I was waiting for Ga In-ah.
“Kwon hyung talked about his dad and mom a lot. He was always saying that he wanted to save up to provide for both of you.” Buk continued singing praises in front of my parents.
“Okay, you’re embarrassing me!”
“It’s true. Anyway hyung has the good boy look written all over his face.”
“Don’t anymore, Buk, look at him!” Mom pointed at my ear, which I presume was flushed red, “Anyway, what are your plans after this? Study? Work?”

“Why didn’t you tell me that he’s 2AM? Of course I know 2AM.”
“But I didn’t know Kwon hyung till I met him.” Buk commented innocently.
“Well obviously you wouldn’t know. All you boys are only interested in girl groups! 2AM, they have gorgeous voices.”
“Okay, I think I finally get what everyone was saying. That 2AM has many ahjumma fans.” Of course, Buk was rewarded by a sound thump on his head.
“Thank you.” Again, I bowed deeply, “for supporting 2AM.”
“Don’t worry, hyung! Even if mom doesn’t buy your albums, I’ll buy 2AM’s albums! That’s the least I can do right?”
“Why are we waiting around here? Are we waiting for someone?” Buk’s dad cut into the conversation, genuinely puzzled at the logic behind our makeshift picnic.
“Oh dad, hyung waited with me for you. So I want to wait with hyung for his mysterious guest. That’ll be okay right?”
“So we are w
