JEJU

They have know the location of Tiffany’s house and keep on observing her. Taecyeon also has asked few question at the café owner as being planned. According to him, Tiffany just started work there a week ago. Coincidentally, the café was looking for a new worker so she has been accepted even though she didn’t have any experience before this. Her friendly and sweet charms have brought many customers in just a week.

That day, Jessica has gone to the café to see and talk to her by herself without telling Yuri nor Taecyeon about it. She wants to know what actually happen. They can’t stay and just observe her from a far anymore.

She enter the café and find a place to sit. While that, she looking around the café. There’s no sign of Tiffany.

“Maybe she’s at the back,”

Jessica choose a place and take a look at the menu. While she was looking at the menu, a waitress come to approach her.

“Yes miss, may I take your order?” the waitress ask her.

Jessica stop looking the menu. She knows that voice. It’s her. From behind the menu, she speaks. “I want 2 hot chocolates and 2 caramel donuts please.”

Tiffany take her order and shout “2 hot chocolates for table 12!” she then go prepare the donuts.

“Yes unnie!” Jimin shouted from behind the counter shout back to her.

Jessica put back the menu and look at her. She never thought a fashion designer like her could work as a waitress now. There is a sense of sadness in her. “how can this happen Tiff?”

While Tiffany who was preparing her customer order was thinking by herself. Why was she order for 2 if she was alone? “Well maybe she was waiting for someone,”

Tiffany deliver the order after the hot chocolates ready. She saw the customer was reading a magazine with her crossed legs. So she approach her slowly while put the order on the table.

“Here your order miss. Enjoy,” Tiffany still let out a smile even though the customer is not looking at her.

As soon she done putting the order on the table, Tiffany make her way back to counter but stop when someone calling her. Jessica put the magazine down, “Stephanie Hwang Miyoung,”

No one here ever knows her full name other than Tiffany. She turn and saw the voice come from the customer that she served just now. Jessica take off the glasses and hat she wear to cover herself. Tiffany’s eyes widen. She feel surprised of what she saw right now.

“Jj-jessie?”

Jessica stand and both of them exchange glance. Few second after that, Jessica open her arms widely. Tiffany walk towards her and hug her best friend. She’s been missing her since then.

“I miss you Tiff,” Jessica said while hugging her.

“I-I miss you too Jessie,” Tears started to form at the corner of her eyes. She has been crying alone all this while until she forgot she got a best friend she can lean on.

Jessica ask her to sit together with her but Tiffany decline. She give work as an excuse. Well, all knows that Jung Jessica dare to do anything to get what she wants but at least she’s not evil like Im Nana. She informed the café’s manager to meet Tiffany for a while and luckily she got the permission. She’s back at the seat seeing the worried Tiffany.

“Great, now let’s talk.”

Tiffany take a seat and look at Jessica. “What are you looking at? Drink that. I order it for you though,” Jessica said and take a bite of caramel donut.

“How are you so confirm that I’m working here and most important, how do you know I WAS HERE?”

Jessica wipe the corner of her lips and continue to answer her. “Besides being a lawyer, I also a CIA.” She joked.

Tiffany shoot a glare at her. “Joke one more time, I’ll get up and leave you here Jung Jessica.”

“Since when I can’t joke with you? You know what, I think our body has exchanged. Your body is mine because I was supposed to look icy and cold, not you. Give my body back.” Jessica put out her hand like asking something.

Tiffany’s lower her sight. Jessica was right. How she become so sensitive now? “Sorry Jess. I also didn’t know what happen to me.”

Jessica smile to her. “It’s okay Tiff. Uncle told me you were here. Everyone worried about you Tiff. Why did you just disappear?”

“Everyone?” Tiffany ask the blonde.  

Jessica nod. “Yes, they’re all worried about you. I’ve been calling for many times but your phone inactive. Also, Sunny said you send the resignation later. Why Tiff?”

She look down to the floor. All the things happen to her few weeks ago come to her mind. “I just want to leave everything there Jess. It hurts me.”

Hearing she said the ‘hurt’ word, Jessica think of something. “Hurt you? Who hurt you? That jerk?” Jessica was guessing Nichkhun as the cause. But that doesn’t make sense she want to run away just because of him.

Tiffany shake her head. How can she tell her this thing?

Looking at her expression, Jessica can guess that there’s something more happen. “Tiffany, did you hide something from me?” Jessica hold Tiffany’s hand.

Tiffany still quiet. She actually don’t know how to tell Jessica about this thing. What she want to tell her. “Jess, I got cheated.” Like that?

 “Tiff, you know you can always tell me everything right? We’re best friend. We rely on each other since back then. Don’t you trust me?” she try to persuade Tiffany. She knows Tiffany hide something from her.

Jessica was right. They’ve been friends for years. They share everything together and no secrets between them. So why does she have to hesitate to tell her this thing? Tiffany take a deep breath before she start talking. “That day… I saw him with a woman. They were hugging and looking so happy together.”

She saw Taeyeon with a woman? That is so unusual. Her instinct as a lawyer has turn on. “Where did you see him with that woman?”

Without hesitation, Tiffany answer the question. “At a café.”

“And what are you doing at the café? How did you end up be there?” That question has being playing in her mind since heard to Tiffany’s answer. It can be a logic if she said she met Taeyeon with another woman at the street or anywhere. But at the café… look like it has been well planned.

“I was supposed to meet someone there. That’s why,” Tiffany then take a sip of hot chocolate in front of her.

“Someone? Who?”

Tiffany look up at her and realized that her best friend has been bombing her with questions since then. “Wait a minute, why did you questioned me like a prisoner?”

Jessica smile to her. “Because I need to know what happen to my best friend when I’m not with her. That’s why I’ve been asking. Now, continue to talk.”

Just when Tiffany want to talk, the café manager called her. Since it was already lunch hour, customer already packed and she need to get back to work.

“I’m sorry Jess, I really want to talk more. But I’m working right now. We’ll meet after I finish my shift?” Tiffany get up from her seat. Ready to get back to work.

Jessica look at Tiffany with a sad expression. Well, she can’t force her to be with her all day. “Promise? I’ll wait for you here okay?”

She nod to her. They hug again and bid goodbye. Tiffany heard the café manager, Mr. Henry coughed and shoot a glare at her. That is the sign. She then left Jessica there to finish her hot chocolate and they’ll meet again after her shift.

AT THE HOTEL

Yuri has been knocking Jessica’s room for nth times. Yuri saw ‘don’t disturb’ sign being hang on the doorknob.

“She can’t be still sleeping right?” He look at the time. It’s already noon.

Yuri has give up. Maybe she didn’t want to get disturb because of tired. What tired? She has been sleeping last night. She’s not the one that fight those guys.

Just when he want to walk away from Jessica’s room. Yuri saw Jessica walking leisurely towards him. His eyes widen.

“YAH!” he shout.

Jessica stop walking and look ahead. She saw the furious Yuri. “Ow ow. I got caught. Great, Jess.”

“Yy-yes?” she just answer him calmly.

“Yes? That’s it? Yah don’t you know how much I worried about you? I’ve been knocking your door for thousand times! Where did you go Sica-yah?” Yuri ask her as he saw Jessica well dressed.

“I’m sorry. I went to see Tiff at the café.”

His eyes widen again. “You what?!” Yuri can’t believe what he heard.

Jessica knows Yuri will be mad if he knows and now he is mad to her. So she plan to talk to him slowly. Jessica unlock her room and pull him along with her. “Come in first, I’ll tell you everything.”

With that, she explained everything to him. Yuri listen to her carefully. He feel glad because Tiffany can be approached and willing to tell the reason she left Taeyeon. One moment Yuri thought of how Jessica make a wise decision even without telling him. Maybe this is why he feel attracted to her…? Eh?

“So you’ll meet her again after this?” Yuri ask after Jessica finish telling him everything.

She nod to him, “But this time, it will not just me. We’ll go to meet her together.”

“We? Are you sure?” Yuri afraid Tiffany might run away again if she saw Yuri also be there.

“Don’t worry, I’ll be there too right?” She winked at him.

Yuri didn’t mind about Tiffany now but his sight goes right to Jessica. Did she just winked? Since when she dare to do that to him?

MEANWHILE AT THE SEOUL

Taeyeon feel bored as he just stay at home with Sarang. Seohyun already left after accompany him to the physiotherapy session. While Sunny was busy with her work. He was wondering what happen to Yuri? That man didn’t come to see him ever since he was discharged from hospital. While wondering, Taeyeon suddenly got an idea.

“Sarang, are you bored?” Taeyeon ask his daughter that only watched cartoon since they were home.

The little girl turn and nod to her daddy. “Hum.”

“Daddy is bored too. Want to go for a holiday?” He offered her. Don’t know how the holiday idea suddenly come to his mind.

Sarang turn and jump onto Taeyeon that sit on the sofa. “ “yeshh yeshh”! Sarang want to go for a holiday!”

Taeyeon smile looking at his excited daughter. “Okay okay. We’ll go for a holiday but we’ll not going far okay? Daddy’s leg still hurt.”

Sarang make an ‘OK’ sign to him. It’s been a while since they go for a holiday.

Taeyeon then informed to his parents, Seohyun and also his therapist. Since all of them give him permission, he call Jiyeon to booked a flight ticket for them.

“2 flight ticket to where Mr. Kim?” Jiyeon ask him on the other line.

Taeyeon silent for a few seconds. He was thinking about the nearest place to go and he got the answer. “Make it to Jeju please,” he then cut off the line.

While he went upstairs with Sarang, Taeyeon happily said “We will go to Jeju, Sarang!”

“Yeayy!” the little girl jump while climbing the stairs.

Taeyeon laugh along with her. Feeling happy to went for a holiday with his daughter. “Let’s go packing! Who arrive at the room first is the winner!” He pretend to run and let the little girl run by herself. He just want to play with her.

BACK TO JEJU

Jessica and Yuri come to the café to meet Tiffany just like being promised. Mr. Henry the café manager already recognized Jessica since she’s been there earlier.

A waiter come to approach Yuri and Jessica. “Can I take your order?”

Both of them look at him. Yuri order a hot cappuccino and Jessica went along with his choice. While the waiter write their order, Yuri look at his nametag.

“Changmin?”

The waiter look up as his name being called. “Yes?”

Yuri smile to him. “Did Tiffany still in there?”

Changmin nod and give a bright smile to Yuri. “Ah you must be Tiffany unnie friend. She said her friend will come later on.” he stop and look at the time.

“Her shift already over. She’ll come out soon.” Changmin then walk away from them and shout the order to Jimin at the back counter.

 While waiting for Tiffany, their orders ready and being delivered. Yuri and Jessica continue to have a small conversation about their next plan.

Tiffany on the other side, already change her outfit and get out. She didn’t forget her promise to meet Jessica back. But she saw someone else sitting in front of Jessica when she walk to the table. She was thinking of Taeyeon and want to run away but being stopped by Jessica as she saw Tiffany.

“Tiff! Wait!” She get up and go get Tiffany. Tiffany being dragged to the table.

“Hi Tiffany,” Yuri wave his hand and smile at her.

Tiffany feels surprised. She thought he was Taeyeon. She really thought of run away if it was Taeyeon.

She wave her hand back to him. “Hh-hi Yul,”

Jessica then explained everything to Tiffany on how Yuri help her in finding her and observed her from a far all this while.

“So the man that help me that day was you?” Tiffany ask Yuri as she being told about the incident that night when the boys disturbed her.

He smile to her and nod. “Yup.”

Their conversation then continue with Tiffany’s explanation. Yuri already knows everything since Jessica told him at the hotel before so he doesn’t get blur or confuse.

Tiffany explained that she was going to meet Nana that day since they’ve already promised. But then she saw Taeyeon hugging with another woman which is that person is Nana.

“So you were saying that you and Taeng meet the same person?” Jessica asked her.

Yuri turn to Jessica. “Don’t you think what I’m thinking Sica-yah?”

She look at him too. “Yes, I think I know what’s in your mind.”

“What? what is it Jess? Yul?” Tiffany feel confuse looking at both of them. She didn’t get anything.

“We think that Nana purposely planned this to break you guys up.” Jessica exposed their hypothesis.

Tiffany still didn’t get what does it mean. “What? I don’t understand,”

Both Yuri and Jessica just realized that Tiffany didn’t aware about Nana’s identity yet. “Actually, Im Nana was Taeng’s ex-girlfriend. She come to get Taeyeon back.”

Tiffany’s eyes widen. “WHAT?!” why she doesn’t know about this.

Yuri then explained to her about Taeyeon’s past. How he got depression for over 5 years ago which is Tiffany never know before this, his changes after meeting Tiffany and also Nana’s comeback that makes his life going miserable once again. Yuri explained to her more about the reason why Taeyeon always leave her every night few months ago. Tiffany now knows that he did that because he want to protect her from Nana but he still fail until the end.

Yuri stop after explain everything to her. “Now you got to follow us back Fany, Taeng needs you.”

Tiffany shake her head. She admit to feels guilty because accusing him those thing, but she need some more time to think about it. “I need some more time for myself,”

“But Fany, he need you. Taeng…-” Yuri can’t get to finish his word when Tiffany already get up and walk out from the café.

Jessica run after her. “YAH TIFFANY HWANG! STOP RIGHT THERE AND DON’T BE SELFISH!”

She stop when heard Jessica is shouting at her. “Selfish? Am I selfish?”

Didn’t bother to wait for Tiffany to turn to her, Jessica keep on talking. “HE INVOLVE IN AN ACCIDENT, BADLY INJURED BUT LUCKY TO BE ALIVE BECAUSE MIRACLE SAVE HIM OR MAYBE BECAUSE OF YOU!”

Tiffany dropped her bag. Her body froze and her mind went blank.

Jessica continue to talk. “YOU KNOW WHAT IS THE WORST PART IS? HE LOSS HIS MEMORY, TIFF! HE DON’T REMEMBER ME, HE DON’T KNOW YOUR FATHER AND MORE WORST, HE DON’T REMEMBER YOU! SO ARE YOU GOING STAND THERE LIKE A FOOL OR GO HOME, PACK YOUR THINGS AND GO HOME WITH US?!!” She shouted all the sentence loud as she can. Jessica never yell that loud. She just feel pissed off because Tiffany was doing assumption by herself without knowing he truth and end up leaving again.

Yuri run out from the café after paid for their drinks. He saw Tiffany stand froze there while her back facing them. Few seconds after that, Tiffany get down to the road. They can hear she was crying. 

 Taeyeon went to Jeju and tiffany was there too? what will happen to them in Jeju? Stay tuned!
