I glared at Yuri, who was still laughing at me, while I rubbed my left cheek that was almost swollen.

"Here. Press it against your cheek." Yoona handed me an ice pack as I kicked Yuri's leg away.

"Thanks, Yoongie." I said as I took the ice pack and watched as Yoona walked up to the scary girl who had screamed at me earlier.

"Here. I hope you can fit into my shirt. There's a changing room at the corner. You can change there." Yoona said as the girl stopped glaring at me and stood up.

I sighed as I closed my eyes and tilted my head backwards.

(Flashback 20mins ago)

I was making my way to Twin Towers cafe with Yuri to collect our packed lunch which we had ordered through Yoona an hour ago. There was quite a number of cars that needed to get repaired so me, Yuri and Taeyeon had planned to just eat at the workshop.

Yuri was busy playing around and teasing me as usual when I noticed a girl coming out from the cafe with two of her friends. She was busy trying to punch them that I saw her losing her footing. I quickened my pace and was just in time to grab her by her shoulders before she could fall down.

As she straightened her back and turned around, I felt an unexpected shove from behind. Yuri had accidentally walked into me who had stopped abruptly, causing me to barge into the girl whom I had just saved earlier.

My actions had caused her to spill her drink onto herself and some of it also landed on my t-shirt. But the scream that came after was something that I would never expect, coming from a beautiful girl like that.

"YAH!!!"

"Ooopsss." Yuri scratched her head as she came to stand beside me. "I'm sorry. I didn't mean to shove my friend into you. It's not her fault."

I blinked repeatedly as the girl glared at me. I knew I was suppose to apologise but instead of doing so, I had to do the most stupidous thing ever. "You're wet."

When the girl saw where I was pointing at which was around her chest area, her next action left a burning imprint on my left cheek. Yuri was about to say something when Yoona walked out from the cafe and instructed all of us to proceed to her office after she saw what happened to the girl's shirt.

"Are you asleep?"

Yuri's voice whispered into my ears, causing me to open up my eyes. I saw that the girl had changed her shirt as she sat down beside her two friends. Taking a deep breathe, I stood up and faced the 3 girls.

"I'm sorry for what happened earlier." I bowed down a little. "I'll pay for your replacement drink and also your shirt."

The girl kept quiet but she continued to glare at me. Her friend was the one who answered me back.

"I think it's okay. Krystal already has a new shirt, thanks to Yoona-unnie. Furthermore, you did save her from falling earlier. It might have been worse if you weren't there."

I was about to apologise again when Amber walked in. I had known Amber a few weeks back when Hyoyeon introduced us. Both of us had even played basketball together once. So I was surprised when Amber sat beside Krystal and asked if she was okay. But what was even more surprising was when Krystal smiled a little at her, with no traces of her glaring eyes earlier.

"I'll make a new cup of iced cappucino for you. No worries okay." Amber said as she stood up and that was when she noticed me. "Eunjin-unnie? Yuri-unnie? How come both of you are here? When did you arrive?"

I was about to answer when Yuri intercepted me, explaining about what happened outside the cafe earlier. Amber said that she only knew someone had barged into Krystal, soaking her shirt with the drink from what Hyoyeon had told her but she didn't knew it was Eunjin. Amber was in the kitchen when Yoona had brought them to her office.

"By the way, they are my campus mates. Sulli, Luna and Krystal." Amber introduced them to me as the girls just bowed their heads. "This is Yuri-unnie, and Eunjin-unnie."

I stretched out my hand for a handshake but only Luna and Sulli returned it. Krystal stood up and walked out of the room leaving all of us in an awkward position.

"Please don't take it to heart. She's really a nice person. It's just that the shirt which you ruined earlier, was one of her favourite one. It was a limited edition. A gift from her sister." Luna explained.

"Her sister? You mean Jessica-unnie?" Yoona asked as Sulli and Luna nodded their heads.

"She's Jessica's sister?" Yuri asked with her eyes widened. "No wonder I felt that glare so familiar."

My phone rang as Sulli and Luna excused themselves while Amber followed them out.

"YAH!!! Where the hell are the two of you? I'm dying of hunger right here."

Taeyeon's voice echoed through the speaker phone as both me and Yuri frantically made our way to the kitchen.

I had just finished showering, walking out of the bathroom when I saw that Yuri was still sprawled on the bed. After that awkward situation in front of Yoona's cafe yesterday afternoon, I had spent the night at the Kwon's house along with Taeyeon and Sunny. Taeyeon had slept in Yoona's room while Sunny was in Seohyun's room. All of them had a good laugh last night after Yuri took the liberty of telling them about what happened during lunch. They were laughing out loud at the part where I had accidentally pointed a finger at Krystal's chest area and the slap that I received from her.

"Yah!! What the hell?" Yuri was awake when I threw my wet towel at her.

"Go and bathe. It's almost 10am. Sleepyhead." I said as Yuri threw the towel back at me before she laid down back on her bed.

"It's Sunday. We don't work on Sundays." Yuri replied as I shook my head and continued to dry my hair with the towel.

I looked around Yuri's neat room and smiled when I saw photos of me during our younger days. The photo frames were placed neatly on one of the shelvings as my eyes continued to scan the rest of the photos until it stopped. I stood up and made my way to the shelf as I grabbed one of the photo frames. It was a photo of Yuri in her high school graduation gown with another girl who was wearing a similar outfit.

"Yul, isn't this Jessica?"

My question caused Yuri to sit up from her lying position as she looked at me before her eyes wandered to the frame in my hand. Her eyes widened and before she could reply me, I decided to run out from her room.

"TAEYEON!!! SUNNY!!! YOONGIE!!! HYUNNIE!!!"

"Yah!!! Han Eunjin!! Get back here and give me back that photo. Stop shouting, for God's sake."

I had to run around the house, trying to avoid Yuri who was glaring at me as if she wanted to kill me while keeping the photo frame close to me.

"What are the two of you doing?" Yoona was the first one to come out from her room as her voice distracted Yuri and I took the opportunity to run into her room.

"Taeyeon. Listen up. This is important." I jumped on Yoona's bed. "Yoongie, don't let Yul come in."

Just at that moment, Yuri appeared at the door but Yoona was stronger than her as she prevented her sister from coming in. Taeyeon, who was already awake by the time I had ran in, looked at me with a blank expression as I shoved the photo to her face. She was about to shout at me for my actions but her eyes widened when she saw the photo.

"You knew Jessica from high school?"

Taeyeon's question shocked Yoona who lost her grip on her sister as Yuri dashed towards the bed, snatching the photo away. By then, the 3 of us had blocked the doorway, preventing her from going out as Seohyun and Sunny appeared behind us.

"What's going on?" Sunny asked as Seohyun scratched her head, looking confused.

"Yuri has some explanation to do." I said as Taeyeon and Yoona nodded her head. "Here or living room?"

In less than 10mins, the 6 of us squeezed into Yoona's room. Some on the floor and some on the bed. It seemed that only me and Seohyun had taken our shower while the rest still had their sleepy face on.

Yuri took a deep breathe as she placed the photo frame on the bed, causing the rest to look at it except for me and Taeyeon.

"Isn't that....?" Yoona was not able to finish her sentence when Yuri intercepted her.

"Yes. That's Jessica. The same Jessica who is also friends with Tiffany. My first love."

Yuri's confession literally shocked everyone since no one knew about it at all. Not even Yoona or Seohyun.

Yuri's POV

"Sica!!" I grinned at the girl who stopped and turned to look at me. "Can I take a photo with you?"

"Okay." She nodded her head and smiled a little at me.

'She's beautiful.' I thought to myself as I took out my phone and ask a random student, who was walking by, to help with the photo taking.

Once it was done, the guy returned my phone to me as I thanked him for his help.

"Do you know him?" I heard Jessica asked as I shook my head. "You don't know him but you ask him to take a photo of us? What if he had ran off with your phone earlier?"

"I'll just have to run after him. That photo is precious." I grinned dorkily as I saw Jessica giggling at my answer.

"How did you know my name? I don't remember introducing myself to you." Jessica asked.

"I was hoping you would do so when you return my lunch box but it seems you like it a lot since you've not returned it back until now." I said as Jessica blushed a little. "I don't mean to sound creepy but I've been observing you for the past 3yrs. It's just too bad that we didn't seem to have the opportunity to get to know each other better."

"I'm sorry. I didn't mean to hold on to your lunch box for so long." Jessica started to apologise.

"It's okay. You can return it back to me anytime, provided you give me your number. I really want to get to know you better." I said as I saw her shy smile again. "Here, you can key it in my..."

"Yuri!!! Come quick. We're taking a group photo for the track & field members." I heard someone shouted out for me.

"Sica, wait here okay. I'll be quick."

"She was gone, by the time I came back. It was my mistake though. I was gone for almost an hour. After the photo taking with the track & field club, it was the swimming club. Then the school disciplinary committee since I was the head prefect." Yuri sighed before she started to tell us about her encounters with Jessica in high school.

"Helping her with the books, standing up for her when she was bullied and you had to wait until graduation day to pluck up your courage to approach her?" I commented while Yuri pouted.

"I was nervous and scared of rejection. She was the first girl who could make me smile even without doing anything. She was precious to me. My first love." Yuri continued to pout as she stared at the photo.

"So why didn't you confess again when we meet them at the car showroom?" Taeyeon was the next one to ask.

"Truthfully, I didn't recognise her instantly that day. I've almost forgotten about her but she kept appearing in my mind ever since that meet up. I tried to recall what happened that day and then I remembered the stare that she gave me after I called her 'Sica' at the restaurant. That was when I realised who she really was." Yuri explained. "She had become prettier over the years."

"I thought Kahi-unnie was your first love?" Seohyun blurted out as everyone was surprised when Yuri suddenly stood up with an angry expression.

"Didn't I say not to mention that name again?" There was a lot of resentment in Yuri's voice. "Because of her...."

Her words were cut off when we heard the door opened as our eyes turned to the same direction. Aunt Kwon walked in with a smile on her face.

"I was looking for all of you since just now. Breakfast is ready." Aunt Kwon said cheerfully but she frowned when she saw the look in Yuri's eyes. "What's going on in here? What's wrong, Yuri?"

"Anni, Omma. We were just teasing around with each other. We'll be out soon." Yuri immediately smiled at her mum with her normal grin.

"Bathe and change first before you all eat your breakfast." Aunt Kwon said as all of us nodded our heads, including me and Seohyun who had already bathe. "You're not working today?"

Aunt Kwon pointed a finger at Yoona who then informed her mother that she'll be coming in a bit late to the cafe and that Sooyoung was aware of it. Aunt Kown by saying that Yoona was taking advantage of Sooyoung's kindness by not coming to work on time as the rest of us laughed at the pouting Yoona. The elderly lady left the room soon after.

"I'm sorry, Unnie. I didn't mean to say out that name." Seohyun looked really guilty for her mistake as Yuri walked up to her.

Rubbing her sister's head and messing her hair, Yuri smiled. "Gwenchana. I know you didn't mean it. I'm sorry for raising my voice at you."

Silence filled the air as Yuri noticed the curious looks on our faces before she sighed.

"I know all of you are wondering about that person which Seohyun had mentioned but I really don't feel like talking about it. Maybe one day."

"Please, please, please."

I tried to make a pitiful face as Yuri folded her arms and stared at me. Taeyeon, who was standing beside her, continued to laugh at my actions.

"Yah!! You're suppose to be on my side. If I'm going to Jessica's workplace, doesn't that mean Tiffany will be there too?" I said as I saw Taeyeon's eyes widened when she realised the truth.

"Yuri, you should just follow us. She really needs to find out from Jessica about that limited edition shirt." Taeyeon suddenly stood beside me and put on a serious face.

"You're going with her, right? So why should I follow too?" Yuri asked Taeyeon, who looked at me for an answer.

"Because I'm scared that Jessica will kill me if she know what happened between me and her sister last week. I need you to be there to protect me. Taeyeon alone won't be enough." I grinned dorkily as Yuri rolled her eyes at me.

"Excuses. Anyway, Jessica won't kill you. She likes you. She even did skinship with you." Yuri said as her tone of voice reflected a tint of jealousy.

The 3 of us then started arguing about Jessica liking me as Yuri kept disbelieving that we were just teasing her the previous time. Our arguments started to turn into teases as we started to throw dirty rags at each other and running around to avoid it.

"IS THIS A PLAYGROUND??!!"

Sunny's voice echoed throughout the workshop as we stopped in our tracks and stood still with our clasped hands at the front. We stole glances at each other as Sunny walked up to us with both hands on her hips. She had a serious look on her face as she stared at the 3 of us before shaking her head.

"I don't mind if you guys want to fool around but there are customer's cars in here with dangerous tools lying around. I still can manage if damages are done to the cars but if anything bad happened to the 3 of you, I will feel guilty for not being strict on you guys." Sunny explained as we took turns to applogise for our actions. "Anyway, I need one of you to go down to collect the tow truck from my father's workshop."

The 3 of us looked at each other before Yuri and Taeyeon turned to look at me at the same time.

"Me? But I.. You know I can't.. " I stammered my words and kept blinking my eyes.

"You'll be the one driving." Yuri said.

"Without anyone beside you." Taeyeon added on.

"So you can drive." Both of them said at the same time before they gave each other a high-five.

Sunny nodded her head and said that she would informed her dad about me coming to collect the tow truck before walking back to her office, without even waiting for my answer.

"Why can't either one of you collect the tow truck instead?" I questioned both of them, who just grinned at me, before Yuri placed her arm on my shoulder.

"Let's just say that me and Taeyeon don't really click well with Sunny's dad." Yuri explained but I continued to protest. "How about this? You go and collect the tow truck and I'll accompany you to Jessica's office tomorrow."

I had to pause to weigh my options. I really needed to get that replacement shirt for Krystal since I had been feeling guilty the whole week about what happened. I was not able to remove the stain on the white shirt even though I tried to wash it a few times. I've thought of trying to search for a replacement online but I couldn't find anything similar since the white shirt had a unique emblem on the right side of it. Then I remembered Luna saying that the shirt was limited edition, bought by Jessica for her little sister. Which was how I thought of asking Jessica about it.

"Okay. It's a deal then. Taeyeon, you heard what Yuri said, right? She's going to follow us tomorrow." Taeyeon nodded her head after I asked her. "By the way, why can't the both of you click well with Sunny's dad?"

An hour later, I got my answer when I arrived at Mr Lee's workshop. The elderly man, welcomed me with open arms and even invited me to have a cup of coffee in his house. I thought everything seemed fine until he started questioning me about my background.

"So you have a Master Degree in Automotive Engineering?" He asked as I nodded my head. "Then why are you working with my daughter? You could easily find a better workplace out there. Do you have a crush on my daughter? How long have you known each other? Are both of you in a relationship? Or does Sunny have a boyfriend or maybe a girlfriend? That girl never shares anything with me."

"What? Me? Sunny and I? No... We're not.."

I couldn't even complete a sentence without having questions thrown at me so I ended up only blinking my eyes at him. 'What's wrong with him?' I thought to myself as I started to feel uncomfortable especially when Mr Lee continued to throw questions at me continuously.

"Why are you not answering my questions? Are you trying to come up with ideas to lie to me? Just like that the other two monkeys who are working with my daughter." He said as I took a deep breathe when I felt that I was losing my temper.

"Mr Lee. I don't mean to be rude but could you listen to me for a moment without any interruptions or asking any further questions?" I said with an assertive tone which might had caused him to be taken aback as he nodded his head slowly. "Firstly, please forgive me if I sounded rude. I do respect you as my boss's father and also as an elderly. But you need to respect me too. Shooting me with inappropriate questions at our very first meeting isn't the best way to start things off. I understand that you're concerned about your daughter but I don't think asking me about her personal life, is the right way. Sunny is my boss and also a good friend of mine. I respect her privacy and so does she. We're not in a relationship and we've only got to know each other after I started working there. The two monkeys that you were referring to are also my friends. They have names. Taeyeon and Yuri."

I paused and took another deep breathe as I looked and stared hard into Mr Lee's eyes. I was sure that he was going to call Sunny and asked her to fire me but I was surprised when he started laughing.

"I like you. You're a good person. You have passed." Mr Lee suddenly said, causing me to frown. "I'm not really such a bad person. I just want to make sure that my daughter hangs out with the right people. I'm surprised that you did well on your first meet-up with me. It took Taeyeon at least 3 times of meeting me before I was finally assured that she was a good person."

I finally understood his actions. Mr Lee questioned me on purpose to see what kind of character I was. He had also admitted that his ways had caused Taeyeon and Yuri to distance themselves from him, most of the time.

"Both of them couldn't really stand the way I kept shooting them with questions and I would usually stop only when Sunny intervened. I may look serious on the outside but actually, I was trying to hold in my laughter as I looked at their clueless expressions." Mr Lee explained further as I finally smiled a the man.

We chatted for a while until I decided that it was time for me to make a move. But before I did so, there was one more question that I had to ask.

"So how many meet-ups did Yuri had to go through before she passed?"

"I almost prevented Sunny from being friends with her. That girl really needs to let go of her past and stopped her flirting ways. But I know she's a nice person, deep down inside." Mr Lee said as he showed 7 fingers at me before both of us chuckled.

The sky was turning dark and it must have been about 20mins since I left Mr Lee's workshop when I spotted a car by the roadside. The hood was up and I saw someone bending over at the engine, in front of the car. I knew that I was not obliged to help but since it was along the way, I decided to stop the tow truck just a few meters ahead of the car. As I exited the truck and made my way to the car, I realised that the car looked familiar.

"Hi, do you need any help?" I asked the lady, who was standing facing the engine.

"Yes. I'm not sure...." She turned around and faced me as her eyes widened. "You!!!"

I could feel my heart skipped a beat as I swallowed my saliva when the familiar cold glare returned to haunt me. "Hi. I didn't expect it was you."

"I don't need your help."

She turned around to face the engine again as I sighed and was about to walk away when I suddenly heard the loud crack of thunder and a pair of hands engulfing me into a tight hug.

"Krystal?"

The moment I said that name, heavy rain started to fall on us as I quickly grabbed her hands and brought her to her car, ushering her inside while I stood outside.
