"Please forgive me for asking. Are you into girls?"

Jessica looked at me and was about to answer when I was intercepted by Tiffany.

"Don't bother asking her. It doesn't matter if it's a guy or a girl. She thinks love is a hassle. " Tiffany said.

"And it's a waste of time, am I right?" I asked as Jessica and Tiffany looked surprised. "Wae?"

"How did you know that I said those words?" Jessica answered as Tiffany explained to me about what happened at Jessica's apartment yesterday.

We were at a restaurant, just a few streets away from the workshop. After Jessica came along with Tiffany to collect her car, Taeyeon had suggested for them to wait for me and her at the restaurant since we've got an hour before we closed the workshop. Once we were at the restaurant, we've been chatting and getting to know each other while having our dinner.

"A good friend of mine said the same thing to me too." I replied to Jessica's question.

"Was it Yul?" Taeyeon tried to guess as I nodded my head. "That stupid tanned monkey. Spouting nonsense all the time. I just checked with Yoona. Her sister is at home, watching TV."

"I thought you told me that she was not free and had a date tonight?" Tiffany asked Taeyeon who explained that it was Yuri who gave her such answers. "Why won't she join us then?"

"Maybe she's not feeling well." I quickly replied before Taeyeon could say anything.

"She's got a boyfriend?" Jessica suddenly asked as I shook my head. "A girlfriend?"

I didn't really know how to answer her since technically, Yuri is still single. I turned to look at Taeyeon who had the same confused expression as both of us could only blinked our eyes at each other.

"As expected of a player." Jessica folded her arms and leaned her back into her chair. "I still remember that night when she ask me to accompany her to the buffet table. She was all confident while talking to Tiffany but when it comes to me, she pretended to be nervous. Stammering and pretending to be shy, thinking that I will fall for her innocent act."

"Wait. Did you say that she was stammering and shy in front of you?" Taeyeon asked as Jessica nodded her head before she narrated what happened between her and Yuri on that day.

(Flashbacks)

"Hey.. hhmmmm... Thanks.. I mean.. hhhmmm..." Yuri's eyes kept blinking as her hands started to move around, doing animated actions before finally stopping at the back of her neck. "Thanks.. for agreeing to accompany me to the buffet table."

Jessica just nodded her head and continued to walk around with her arms folded across her chest.

"So.. how long have you known Tiffany?" Yuri tried to strike a conversation as she walked beside Jessica.

"Since young." Jessica's answer was short and straight to the point as she didn't even turn to look at Yuri.

A frown appeared as Yuri tried to think of some other questions to ease the awkwardness between them. It was obvious that Jessica was not a talker as the girl continued to walk without saying a word, looking through the selection of food and picking it up to place on the cart that was being pushed around by Yuri.

"Hhhhmmm... Sica?" Yuri was taken aback when Jessica suddenly stopped abruptly in front of her and turned around with her glaring eyes. "I.. I.. I'm sorry. I.. I didn't.. to call you.. as in call you with that.. I mean I should... I'm sorry, Jessica-ssi."

"Why do you keep stammering? Am I that scary?" Jessica asked while Yuri broke into a silly smile.

"Not really... but I... I don't even know why I'm stammering, especially when you stare." Yuri answered honestly as she bite her lips, expecting Jessica to start scolding her.

Jessica looked at Yuri and sighed. "I'm sorry. I didn't mean to scare you or anything. I'm just born with cold glaring eyes."

"Anni, anni.. It's not that.. You've got beautiful eyes. And I'm sincere about the compliment." Yuri grinned before she started to feel her cheeks becoming warmer.

"Are you blushing?" Jessica tried to look closer at Yuri who immediately turned away, citing that she saw something which she wanted to eat.

"She was blushing? Are you sure?" Taeyeon asked as Jessica nodded her head, prompting Taeyeon to frown a little.

Looking at Taeyeon's actions, I knew that she must have realised something different with Yuri's actions towards Jessica. But I didn't want Taeyeon to blurt out anything that might jeopardise any future interactions between Yuri and Jessica. So when I saw that Taeyeon was about to say something, I quickly intercepted her.

"Yuri doesn't stammer. I think she likes..."

"Hey, Taeng. Shall we order dessert? I heard this restaurant serves delicious macaroons." I said as Tiffany excitedly responded, causing Taeyeon to smile widely.

"Macaroons? Ouuhh.. I love macaroons." Tiffany exclaimed and she was about to order it when I volunteered to go over the counter to check on other available desserts.

"Hey, Taeng. Let's go over and get something nice for Jessica and Tiffany. Desserts will be on us." I said as Tiffany quickly thanked us while I dragged Taeyeon to the counter. Once I was sure that we were a distance away from the table, I whispered into Taeyeon's ears. "Don't say anything about Yul to Jessica."

"Huh? What do you mean?" Taeyeon was genuinely confused with my request as she gave me her blank looks.

"You realise something about Yuri's actions towards Jessica, right?" A nod from Taeyeon proved that I was right. "I also think that there's something about Jessica which is bothering Yuri."

I started telling Taeyeon about the conversation which I had with Yuri yesterday and about how I've caught Yuri daydreaming for the past three days. Taeyeon's eyes widened as she told me that Yuri had never been shy in front of any girls before and it was the first time that she's hearing about Yuri stammering.

"Do you think Yul feels something about Jessica?" Taeyeon asked as I shrugged my shoulders.

"I'm not sure, which is why I prevented you from saying anything to Jessica. But she doesn't seem to have a good impression of Yul though." I sighed as Taeyeon mimicked my actions.

We decided to concentrate on our orders and returned back to the table.

"So how was the double date last night?"

I looked at Taeyeon before both of us turned to look at Yuri who had just arrived for work, 10mins late. She had this arrogant smirk on her face as she walked up to the cupboard to withdraw her toolbox and safety gears. Yuri was not looking at us as she kept her focus on her tools while Taeyeon nudged my shoulders before leaning in to whisper.

"Why does she look agitated even though she was smirking?" Taeyeon said softly as my left eyebrow arched a little.

"Follow my lead." I whispered back as I folded my arms and grinned at Yuri. "It was fun and interesting. We chatted and got to know each other better."

"Fun and interesting? Really?" Yuri sniggered as she rolled her eyes and made her way to one of the cars. "I don't think it's as great as my date though."

Taeyeon was about to say something when I grabbed her wrist and gave her an eye signal. Nodding her head, Taeyeon faked a chuckle. "It was really fun, especially when you're spending time with two beautiful ladies."

Yuri chuckled out loud in a teasing tone. "I can guarantee that my date was way more prettier than them."

My eyes widened when I saw the change in Taeyeon's expression and before I could stop her, Taeyeon had replied to Yuri's remarks.

"Well, at least both of them seems genuinely interested in both of us."

"Genuinely interested? I'm aware of Tiffany's interest in you but Jessica? You mean she's interested in Eunjin?" Yuri frowned a little, looking a little lost as she pointed at me. "But she was so cold towards me that night."

Her last sentence was spoken softly but I managed to hear it. Taeyeon must have not heard it since she continued to agitate the poor girl.

"Jessica was asking Eunjin a lot of questions. She was really interested in our friend here." Taeyeon chuckled and was about to give me a high-five when I shook my head slightly and tilted my head towards Yuri's direction. Getting my signals, Taeyeon turned to look at Yuri, who was looking down. "Hey Yul, are you okay?"

She suddenly lifted up her head and smiled widely. "Good for you, Eunjin. Someone's interested in you."

Yuri showed a thumbs up to me before she sat down on the floor and subsequently, slide herself under the car. The moment I saw Yuri's body disappearing, I pulled Taeyeon aside by her shoulders.

"Yah!! What was that for? I told you to follow my lead." I was almost whispering since I was afraid that Yuri might be able to hear us.

"I'm sorry. I got carried away when she said that her date was prettier than Tiffany." Taeyeon pouted while I could only manage a sigh.

"It's obvious that she was jealous since she lied about that date of hers and didn't you hear her mumbling about Jessica being cold towards her?" I asked as Taeyeon shook her head and pouted again. "If you had followed my lead, we might have been able to get Yul to tell us her true feelings. Now our poor friend thinks that she doesn't stand a chance since Jessica likes me."

"But we can use that as our advantage, right? We can make her feel jealous, fight for Jessica's love and push her to tell us her true feelings." Taeyeon suggested but I shook my head.

"I've got a feeling that she will back off. She won't fight, especially against her friends." I said with a sigh as Taeyeon apologised again. "It's okay, Taeng. Hopefully she won't take us seriously."

Yuri's POV

"What the....?"

I almost cursed the moment I was sure that I was already hidden under the car. Staring at the car parts above me, Taeyeon's words repeated in my head. Remembering how Jessica had treated me that night, I imagined her being nice to Eunjin which caused me to sigh.

"I guess she must really be interested in Eunjin since she treated her well." I mumbled to myself as I looked up when I felt my eyes became watery. "Just when I thought that she's the one for me. Even after all these years."

Taeyeon's POV

'Was I being too harsh towards Yul earlier?' I thought to myself as I glanced towards the dangling legs that was under the car. 'She shouldn't have made that comment about Tiffany though. Talking about Tiffany, gosh. That girl is so perfect. Just like an angel.'

My train of thoughts was disturbed when I felt something being thrown at my face. Glancing around, I saw a smirking Sunny standing by her office door.

"What's with that stupid smile on your face and why are you daydreaming at work?" Sunny asked as she pretended to be angry.

"Must be daydreaming about her girl." I heard Eunjin answering from somewhere as I chuckled.

"Yah!! She's not my girl." I shouted out before breaking into a grin. "Well, maybe not yet."

Eunjin's POV

"What's with that stupid smile on your face and why are you daydreaming at work?"

I heard Sunny's voice and looked over at Taeyeon's direction as I peeped over the car's hood.

"Must be daydreaming about her girl." I replied loudly as I saw Taeyeon's eyes wandering around searching for me  while I quickly hid behind the car's hood.

Hearing Taeyeon's reply after my remark, I laughed to myself before I heard Taeyeon whistling happily. I was about to pull down the hood to close it when Sunny's face appeared at the side.

"Oh my god!!!" I exclaimed as I placed my hand over my shocked heart while Sunny giggled.

"You're such a scaredy cat, Eunjin." Sunny said as I saw Taeyeon and Yuri staring at me.

They must have been alarmed by my shout earlier and had looked over to check if I was okay as I closed the car hood.

Sunny's POV

"I need the 3 of you to be in my office. There's something that I need to discuss with everyone." I announced as the 3 of them nodded their heads. "By the way, I'm going out to lunch with Chorong later so I won't be joining you guys."

Sounds of whistle were heard as I pretended to ask them to keep their noise level down. The 3 of them were aware of my interest in Chorong, my secretary but I've not made any moves on her since I wasn't sure if she felt the same way towards me.

"Hey Soonkyu, is that considered as a lunch date?" Taeyeon teased me as I meronged at her while we walked towards my office.

"Go after her before someone else does." Yuri said as she chuckled a little which I found it weird since Taeyeon and Eunjin were not laughing along with her.

10 mins later,

Taeyeon, Yuri and Eunjin took their seats in front of Sunny's desk as their boss started to take out some documents and arranged them on the tables. Explaining that she has been brainstorming for the past few days on ways to help the company to cut down on their expenses, Sunny showed her findings and logistics graph through the documents.

"So I was thinking, instead of engaging a tow truck to immediately bring the car back to the workshop, we could go down to access the car's situation first. Like a roadside inspection. Because there have been instances where the car was only experiencing minor problem which takes less than an hour to solve. Some of these new drivers are not aware of how to deal with their cars when it stalled. They don't even know how to jumpstart it. Expenses paid to our freelance tow truck drivers could be cut down if either one of you can drive the tow truck down to the place to take a look at the car first. If there's a need to drive the car back, then we'll do so."

"Drive back? You mean along with the driver?" I stated as I felt my palms starting to sweat.

"Obviously. You can't be driving the car back and leaving the driver behind, right?" Sunny gave me a weird look after answering my question. "All 3 of you will be using the company's tow truck. My dad will be providing us with one of his from the other workshop."

"We can take turns on who to drive out for that day. Maybe come out with a schedule or something." Yuri suggested as Taeyeon and Sunny nodded their heads in agreement.

"But I... I... I can't.. drive. I mean.. I can drive.. But.. but only when I'm alone." I blinked my eyes, trying to make sense of what I had just said but I think it was not working since Taeyeon, Yuri and Sunny had confused looks on them.

"What?" Taeyeon asked as she turned to look at Yuri and Sunny who shrugged their shoulders. "What do you mean you can only drive if you're alone? How did you pass your driving test then?"

"I... I.. " I swallowed my saliva as I looked at the expectant eyes of the 3 girls in front of me. "I took medications before my driving test."

"Yah!! Are you even listening to me?!!" Tiffany throw a pen at her daydreaming friend who looked up at her with a blank expression.

"I heard, Hwang Miyoung. And stop shouting. Your normal voice is already so loud." Jessica rolled her eyes at Tiffany who had just finished explaining about the new designs for their upcoming summer collection.

"What are you thinking of? Or maybe who were you thinking about?" Tiffany grinned dorkily as Jessica glared at her. "Okay, okay. Don't need to glare. I was just trying to guess."

Jessica shook her head as both of them continued their discussion for another 30mins before they were interrupted by the sound of Tiffany's phone which was indicating an incoming message. There was a stupid grin on Tiffany's face after she was done reading her message.

"It must be that underage girl again." Jessica commented while she continued to look at the papers on her table.

"Taetae is not underage, okay." Tiffany rebutted before she broke out into a grin.

"Taetae? It's only been a week since we last met them and both of you have nicknames for each other already?" Jessica asked as Tiffany nodded her head excitedly. "What's your nickname then?"

"Just Ppany. Taetae doesn't seem to be able to pronounce my name properly but the way she says it is so cute." Tiffany replied with a wide smile. "Especially when she calls me so endearingly such as Ppany-ah."

Jessica scrunched her face a little at her friend who was acting cute in front of her. "So, are you guys together now?"

"No!! We're at the getting to know each other stage." Tiffany replied. "By the way, Taetae has agreed to meet us for lunch."

"Us? Why am I part of this? Aren't you both suppose to be on a date?" Jessica frowned and shook her head, a sign that she was not willing to tag along.

"Oh come on. It'll be more fun. Anyway, I think Taetae is still shy around me. That's why I had to be the one asking her out." Tiffany tried to explain as she informed Jessica that Yuri told her about Taeyeon who had never been in a relationship before and had urged Tiffany to be the proactive one.

"Yuri told you that, huh? You seems really close with Yuri for both of you to be sharing such info." Jessica questioned. "Are you sure, Yuri is not trying to hit on you instead?"

"Yah, why does it seem that you don't really like Yuri? I know she flirts around but she's a good friend. She said that Taetae likes me and is trying to help her friend out after I told her that I've got an interest in Taetae. Actually, Yuri is a nice person. Just like her two sisters too." Tiffany replied as Jessica just sighed. "Anyway, it's not as if you've got any plans later."

"I do. Sleeping. "Jessica replied while Tiffany rolled her eyes at her friend.

5mins before 1pm, Tiffany and Jessica walked in to the cafe where Taeyeon had suggested to meet them. Looking around the cafe, Jessica felt that it looked familiar and realised that she's been there before with Krystal. It was the Twin Towers cafe.

"Hi Ppany." Taeyeon smiled widely and waved her hands at Tiffany from the table where she was seated.

Tiffany was about to take a seat when she heard her name being called out.

"Fany-unnie!!" Yoona half-shouted and gave the older girl a tight hug. "Why did you take so long to come to the cafe? You've been here in Seoul for more than a month already."

Yoona pouted cutely as Tiffany apologised, citing that she's been busy with work and settling down her things.

"By the way, let me introduce my friend, who is also my boss at work. Jung Sooyeon." Tiffany chuckled when Jessica glared at her for saying out her Korean name. "Or you can just call her Jessica."

"Annyeonghaseyeo, Jessica-unnie. Kwon Yoona-imnida." Yoona smiled brightly at Jessica who subconsciously returned a smile.

"You look a bit like my sister." Jessica commented. "By the way, if you're a Kwon and you knew Tiffany, does that mean you're related to Kwon Yuri?"

"Kwon Yuri? I believe you're asking about my older sister." Yoona replied before she frowned a little. "Are you and her...?"

"Anni, anni. We're just acquaintance." Jessica quickly replied before Yoona could say anything further.

Both Jessica and Tiffany then took their seats while Yoona handed them the menu. After Yoona walked away once she had taken their drink orders, the 3 girls started looking through the menu book.

"By the way, where's Yuri and Eunjin?" Tiffany asked once she had decided on what to eat.

"They should be here soon. Eunjin need to get some stuff for her bike so Yuri is accompanying her for a while." Taeyeon answered.

"Eunjin has a bike? That's so cool, especially with her boyish outlook and great looks. By the way, is she a Korean?" Tiffany asked, noticing the slight pout on Taeyeon's face.

"She's half-Japanese, half-Korean." Taeyeon replied with a flat tone, causing Tiffany to smile a little since she knew that Taeyeon was feeling a little jealous.

At that moment, the door opened causing everyone to turn and look at the same direction. Yuri and Eunjin walked in, each holding on to a helmet with Yuri's left arm around Eunjin's neck as if she was giving that girl a headlock. Eunjin was pulling that arm away as she used her elbow to shove Yuri away.

"They seem very close." Jessica suddenly said, breaking the attention away from the two girls.

"They've known each other since young until they were separated 14yrs ago. Eunjin's father and Yuri's father were working colleagues." Taeyeon explained as she called out towards Yuri and Eunjin to their table.

Jessica noticed the surprise look on Yuri when their eyes met as the tall girl suddenly released her arm from Eunjin before she started walking towards the kitchen.

"Yah, your arm is heavy." I tried to pull it away and used my elbow to shove Yuri away.

"I'm not letting you go until you tell me everything. Amaxophobia, your treatment, medications, Harabeoji, Halmeoni...  Everything." Yuri replied and was about to tighten her grip when we heard our names being called out.

"Yul, Eunjin!! Over here."

Both of us turned to our left and saw Taeyeon waving her hands at us. Seated along with her was Tiffany and Jessica. One with her smiling eyes and the other with her blank stare.

". Why is she here?" Yuri looked away as she released her arm from my neck. "Hey, I think I need the toilet. See you later."

I didn't even managed to say anything as Yuri walked a few steps ahead before turning back to shove the helmet into my arms. Before I could stop her, she was already speeding towards a kitchen. I turned to look at where Taeyeon was and I saw the frown on Jessica's face.

'This is much harder than I thought.' I mumbled to myself as I made my way to the table.

"Hey, Jinnie. I didn't realise that you're here. Where's Unnie?"

Yoona appeared when I was looking through the menu after I had sat down less than 5 minutes ago. Informing her that her sister had went to the bathroom, I told her my orders and asked for her assistance to check on Yuri.

"Is Yul okay?" Taeyeon asked as I nodded my head. "She just speeds off like that to the kitchen after wrestling with you at the door."

"She said her stomach didn't feel good. Might be because I elbowed her too hard earlier." I tried to find a reason for Yuri's sudden change of direction. "We didn't know Tiffany and Jessica are going to be here too."

I glared a little at Taeyeon, hoping that she would caught my signal but that blur girl only smiled at Tiffany. Our orders arrived soon and we ate while chatting away but Yuri didn't turn up even after 15mins.

"Maybe I should go and check on Yuri. She's been away for some time." I said and was about to stand up when I felt Jessica's hand on my wrist.

"She's coming." Jessica said as I turned around to see Yuri looking at me.

To be exact, at Jessica's hand on my wrist.
