"Kim Taeyeon!! I hate you!!"

Taeyeon jolted up suddenly as Yuri and I looked at her in surprise. She continued to blink her eyes in a confused state before grinning dorkily. The 3 of us had decided to go fishing today and spend some bonding time together. Yuri suggested the fishing trip since me and Taeyeon objected to her yoga ideas. We've been there for almost 2hrs, but no one had caught anything yet which was why Taeyeon had fallen asleep.

"How is fishing a stress reliever, Kwon Yuri?" Taeyeon started to whine.

"If it's not, how did you manage to fall asleep peacefully?" Yuri rebutted as Taeyeon meronged at her. "It's more for Eunjin, actually. Can't you see that she's losing weight?"

Both of them turned to look at me as I frowned. "Am I?"

The 3 of us ended up laughing until Taeyeon let out a heavy sigh.

"What's wrong, Taeng? By the way, what did you dreamt of until u jolted out from that chair?" I asked as Taeyeon looked at me with troubled eyes.

"I had a quarrel with Ppany on Thursday and we've not spoken to each other until today."

"That's two days ago. Is this your first fight with her?" Yuri asked as Taeyeon nodded her head.

"Why did both of you quarrel, anyway?" I asked as Taeyeon pouted and looked down.

"I got jealous because of her new project. I saw her being overly-friendly with the male model. So I started being childish, sarcastic and unreasonable. When I jolted up earlier, I dreamt that Ppany screamed at me and said that she hated me." Taeyeon sighed again before she leaned back against the chair.

"Since you knew that you were in the wrong, why did you let it drag for two days? You should have settled it as soon as possible." Yuri advised.

No one said anything as all of us looked at our own fishing rods which had made no movement at all. My phone beeped as I took out to read the message.

Hope you're enjoying your fishing trip with Yuri-unnie and Taeyeon-unnie. Send my regards to them. - Krystal

Keeping the phone back into my pocket, I relayed Krystal's message to Yuri and Taeyeon.

"Are you okay?" Yuri suddenly asked as I replied that I was. "Are you sure? Because I don't see you smiling when you received that message from Krystal."

"There's no need for me to do that. It was just a normal message." I replied as I saw Taeyeon shaking her head.

"But you always smile when Krystal message you. Always." Taeyeon emphasized the last word, to which Yuri agreed. "You're hiding something from us."

"Last week, when I came to fetch her to watch a movie, I overheard and saw something that is bothering me until now."

(Flashback last Wednesday)

I had just arrived at Krystal's dorm and was walking through the class door of the main lobby when I heard a familiar voice.

"When I needed you by my side, she seemed to be there instead of you. I don't know her as well as I know you since we've been friends for almost 3yrs but you don't need a long time to like someone, right?"

I looked behind her pillar and saw Amber standing in front of Krystal who was leaning against the wall.

"You don't really like her. You're just feeling indebted to her. If I was there for you when you needed me, you won't even have feelings for her. Am I right?"

I noticed Krystal looking at Amber as if she was speechless and having difficulty answering it. I counted to 3 before I appeared behind the pillar.

"What's going on in here?" I tried to control the emotions in me as I saw Krystal pushing Amber away while I walked up to them.

"Nothing. We're just having a chat." Amber replied with an arrogant smirk.

"I hope the chat has ended because me and Krystal has a movie to catch." I countered her reply as I held Krystal's wrist and led her away.

"Wow, that's so.. hhhmmmm... how should I this?" Taeyeon had a deep frown on her face as her fingers started to tap her chin repeatedly.

"Unbelievable?" I tried to guess but Taeyeon didn't seem satisfied with my answer.

"More like unexpected." Yuri said as Taeyeon agreed to it. "So, which part of it was bothering you?"

I shook my head slowly as I let out a sigh. It was my turn to lean against the reclining chair before Yuri suddenly stood up and looked at me and Taeyeon. 

"Let's go. We need to get out of this place before we die of boredom."

We started packing our stuff before I stopped suddenly and looked at them. "Do you think I'm just a replacement for Amber in Krystal's life?"

"Okay, we need to pack faster before Eunjin start to lose her mind." Yuri nudged Taeyeon, who nodded her head. "Palli, palli."

Krystal's POV

I stared at my phone and sighed. It's been 5 minutes since I sent a message to Eunjin. I knew she had read it and I knew that she might be busy resting and relaxing with Yuri-unnie and Taeyeon-unnie but I was hoping that she would at least reply to me.

A knock at my door grabbed my attention as Jessica-unnie walked in with a smile. I sat up from my lying position on my bed and smiled back to her.

"Why are you still lying around on your bed, Soojungie? It's almost noon." Sica-unnie started to nag. "Freshen up. Follow me and Tiff to the mall for some shopping."

"But I'm not in the mood to do so, Unnie." I replied as tried to lie down again but Sica-unnie pulled my blanket away.

"If Eunjin was the one who had asked you out, I'm sure that you'll be jumping out from the bed to get ready."

"I don't even know if she'll ever ask me out again." I mumbled subconsciously which was heard by Sica-unnie.

"Did something happened between the two of you?" Sica-unnie climbed on bed and quickly wrapped her hands on my shoulders.

"Jessi, do you still have your.....?" Tiffany-unnie appeared at my door and looked at both of us. "Is something wrong?"

Tiffany-unnie scurried to my bed as she looked worried since Sica-unnie looked as if she was comforting me.

"Soojung seems to be having relationship problem." Sica-unnie replied as I saw Tiffany-unnie folded her arms.

"Wae? Is Eunjin the jealous, childish and unreasonable type like that stupid Kim Taeyeon?"

I arched my eyebrow as Tiffany-unnie started blabbering about her quarrel with Taeyeon-unnie just a few days back. It seemed like Sica-unnie had known about it since I was the only one listening attentively to the story.

"Anyway, it's not about me now. It's about you." Tiffany-unnie pointed to me as both the unnies looked at me.

"Last week, me and Eunjin were meeting up for a movie. While waiting for her to arrive at the dorm, Amber appeared and started chatting with me." I took a deep breathe before telling them about the incident. "After pulling me away, both of us became awkward."

(Flashback)

As we stopped near the bike, Eunjin helped me to put on the helmet as normal but she avoided my eye-contact. I bite my lips, trying to control my nerves as I thought back about what happened earlier.

'When did Eunjin arrived? Did she hear everything that had been conversed between me and Amber?'

"Let's go."

My trains of thoughts were disrupted by Eunjin's voice as I saw that she was already on the motorbike. As I held her shoulders and climbed up, she started the engine and we rode off. I must have felt so nervous that I found myself hugging Eunjin tighter until we reached the cinema.

We were extremely quiet throughout the movie. I could confidently claim that both of us didn't enjoyed the movie. Once the movie was done, I wanted to go to a cafe for a while to hang out but Eunjin said that she was not feeling well and asked if it was okay if she just sent me back to the dorm.

"I'm sorry that we couldn't hang out longer like you wanted. I don't know what's wrong with my body lately. I feel like I get lethargic easily." Eunjin said as she removed the helmet from my head after we had reached the dorm. "Thank you for accompanying me tonight."

"What did you hear during the conversation between me and Amber just now?" I finally asked the question that had been bugging me.

She smiled and I noticed that she was swallowing her saliva. She looked down momentarily before looking up. "I'm sorry if my behaviour tonight is a little bit off. There's a lot of things on my mind right now and I don't know how to express it out."

(End of flashback)

"So I hugged her instead. I didn't know why I did that but I had felt that she needed it at that moment." I sighed again before I continued. "She didn't hug me back. She just stood there frozen, before she told me that it was late and I should head inside."

"She didn't hug you back?" Tiffany-unnie reaffirmed what I had just said as I nodded my head. "That's funny. Why didn't she do that?"

"I think Eunjin must be thinking about what she saw and heard when she went to fetch you earlier. But she's not the type who is able to express her inner feelings so maybe it was affecting how she should react." Sica-unnie tried to guess.

"I would prefer it if she was angry and yell at me instead of acting this way. Since that incident, I could feel a slight change in her. Even though she would still call or message me at night, it'll be quick and simple. Asking me about the basic things, about what happened daily before she would say good night, claiming that she needed to sleep early. She even goes to work last Saturday, which means I have not seen her for more than a week." I started complaining.

"Is she trying to avoid you? What's wrong with that girl? I'm going to ask Taetae's help to scold her." Tiffany-unnie grabbed her handphone before she paused. "Wait. We're still not in talking terms. She had not apologised yet so I can't call her. Jessi, call Yuri and ask her to scold Eunjin."

"Yah, Hwang Miyoung. Are you her sister or me? Why are you getting so uptight? I think your problem with Taeyeon is bigger than Soojung's. You should be more worried about that." Sica-unnie commented as I saw Tiffany-unnie pouting. "Anyway, the 3 of them are together at the moment. If Eunjin is really troubled, there's a possibility that Yuri and Taeyeon would have noticed it and would be helping Eunjin out. So let's just wait for them to update us and in the mean time, let's go shopping to keep our minds of the issue temporarily."

"I thought that the 3 of you were going fishing?" A voice appeared behind us as we turned around and saw Tiffany, Jessica and Krystal glaring at us.

"It must be fun fishing in an arcade." Tiffany's voice was full of sarcasm as she rolled her eyes at Taeyeon.

Yuri, Taeyeon and I had left our fishing place about an hour ago and made our way to the shopping mall. During the ride to the mall, Yuri and Taeyeon tried to find out more about what was bothering me so I told them that I was suspicious of Amber's actions, especially with regards to the conversation between her and Krystal that I had heard on that night. Yuri then suggested that I talked it out with Krystal and not to prolong the situation while Taeyeon suggested for us to proceed to the arcade to play some games, which she assured, was a way to relieve stress.

We were playing the shooting game when Jessica, Tiffany and Krystal came up to us.

"I sent a message to Krystal earlier." I answered as Tiffany and Jessica turned to look at Krystal who looked a little lost before she looked for her phone in her clutch bag. "Furthermore, we did went fishing but it was boring since we didn't catch anything."

"She really did." Krystal suddenly said as she showed my message to the other two girls.

We're moving off to the mall. There's nothing to catch here. Remember to eat your meals. Take care. - Eunjin

"But I didn't receive any message from Yuri. Did you receive anything from Taeyeon?" Jessica asked Tiffany who then shook her head. "And why is that so, Kwon Yuri?"

"I... I... thought Krystal would inform you too. Right, Taeng?" Yuri nudged Taeyeon's shoulders as the other girl nodded her head subconsiously.

"But I didn't ask Krystal to inform her unnies. It's just a habit of mine to keep her updated about my movement." I answered before grinning cheekily at Taeyeon and Yuri who looked as if they wanted to strangle me.

"Yah!! Is this how you're treating us after we tried to help you to overcome your troubled mind?" Taeyeon said as I stopped grinning and my eyes widened.

"That's right. An hour ago, someone was so depress thinking about what Am... hhhmmpphhhh." Yuri couldn't complete her sentence after I covered with my hands.

I started to fake a laugh as if it was nothing but I saw the look on Krystal's face and I knew that she was expecting an explanation.

"You don't have to cover Yuri-unnie's mouth. I already knew that you were affected by Amber's words that night." Krystal's remarks instantly resulted in me, pulling my hands away as Yuri tried to act as if she was short of breathe.

"Sica, did you see that? Eunjin almost killed me." Yuri pleaded like a small kid while Jessica just rolled her eyes.

"You will die in my hand instead." Jessica said as Yuri pretended to be shocked. "Anyway, the two of you need to settle your own problem first before you can join us. We're going to that buffet restaurant. See you two later. Soojung-ah, let's go. I'm hungry."

Jessica pointed to Taeyeon and Tiffany before she dragged Krystal away. Me and Yuri looked at each other in confusion before Jessica called our our names, indicating us to follow her.

Taeyeon's POV

I observed the 4 girls walking away before stealing a glance at Tiffany. I saw her looking around the arcade and was surprised when she walked in further.

"Ppany-ah, where are you going?"

I called out to her but I knew she was pretending not to hear me so all I could do was to follow her from behind until she stopped in front of a game.

"Why are you following me?" Tiffany spurned around suddenly, causing me to take a step back.

"I... I... You.. wh.. What are doing in here?" I stammered my words since Tiffany had a stern look on her.

"I'm here to wash the dishes." Tiffany replied sarcasticly before she folded her arms.

"Look, Ppany-ah. I'm sorry. I really am. I know I was being unreasonable and childish but I was jealous. You know.. when you're jealous, you can't really think straight." I tried to look pitiful but it doesn't seem to work on her.

"You were really not thinking straight, Kim Taeyeon. How can you accuse me of flirting with that model and even expect me to resign form my job just to prove my innocence." Tiffany was about to turn around when I grabbed her wrist, making her face me again.

"What can I do so that you will forgive me?" I asked as I placed both my palms together.

"Why should I forgive you?" She asked as I took a deep breathe.

"Because I love you. I got jealous because I was afraid that you might fall for that handsome model. I don't want to lose you. I said all that nasty remarks in a state of anger. I don't mean it. I'm sorry. Please forgive me. The past two days had been a nightmare for me knowing that you were upset with me. Please, Ppany-ah. I'll do anything just so that you'll forgive me." I noticed that Tiffany was contemplating my request before a grin appeared on her face.

"Let's play a game. If you win, I'll forgive you instantly. But if you lose, I will punish you instead."

I quickly agreed as we took a seat in front of the street fighter fighting game.

Tiffany's POV

As Taeyeon took a seat beside me, I was trying my best to keep my poker face on. The moment I realised that Taeyeon had followed me inside the arcade, I already knew that she had wanted to apologise. I was no longer angry with her actually. In fact, I had to admit that I should have been more understanding of her feelings. I had wanted to message her and ask for us to meet up after the shopping plan with Jessica but I didn't expect to bump into her at the mall.

Seeing how sincere she was when she asked for forgiveness, I had already forgave her in my heart but I needed to show her that she was the one in the wrong for her accusation towards me. Even so, I still chose a game that I knew Taeyeon was good at. I wanted her to win so that I could say that she was forgiven. But 10mins later, I was surprised that I had actually won the game.

"I won?" Even the tone of my voice reflected my surprise.

"Yes, you did. And I'm ready for my punishment." Taeyeon's quick reply caused me to look at her.

"Did you lose on purpose? Because I know that you've never lost in this game before." I said as Taeyeon smiled and shook her head.

"That's because I never played against you. Anyway, what's the punishment?"

"I'll think about it later. Let's go and join the other girls and see what they are up to. I want to know what's going on between Eunjin and Krystal." I said as I pulled up Taeyeon's arm, forcing her to stand up beside me.

"You knew about that? Did Krystal told you and Sica about Amber doing funny things?"

I nodded to Taeyeon's question as we made our way to the restaurant that I saw Jessica was headed to earlier.

"What did you tell your unnies?"

"What did you tell your friends?"

Both of us asked the same question at the same time after Jessica and Yuri left the table to get some food from the buffet table. We ended up chuckling before I scooted closer to Krystal.

"Did I make you worry?" I asked as Krystal nodded her head. "I'm sorry."

"Instead of saying that you're sorry, why don't you tell me what was bothering you." Krystal said as I took a deep breathe. "I know you don't express yourself well, but at least tell me what you heard that night."

"I heard that you told Amber that I was by your side when you needed her. And I also heard about Amber asking you that if she was there all along by your side, you won't have started to have feelings for me. Then I saw how you became speechless with her question."

"You're doubting my feelings for you?" Krystal asked as I shook my head.

"I'm not doubting you. I know you have been honest with your feelings towards me. I'm just wondering if I was really the one who came between you and Amber. I remembered what Amber said to me on the day that she punched my face. She said that I should have helped her to get back to you instead of replacing her. Was I replacing her?" I mumbled softly as I felt a pair of hands hugging me from the side.

"You're not a replacement, stupid. I started to have feelings for you after the incident at the haunted house. That was way before Amber even asked me out for a date." Krystal explained herself.

"You liked me from that time? Daebak." I said with a surprised look. "And all that time, I thought you hated me. But what made you liked me then?"

"I'm not sure if you had noticed it during the time we were in the haunted house. You kept mumbling 'Protect Krystal' like a chant. If I was not so scared at that time, I would have laughed at you. But thinking back, I was really touched by your sincerity then." Krystal said as she covered her giggles while I pouted at her. "Anyway, after the haunted house incident, I was not sure if you had the same feelings for me too so when Amber said that she wanted to get to know me better, I agreed to it. But then I realised that what I felt for her before was just a crush. Furthermore, I think Amber actually liked Ailee, except that she either didn't want to admit it or she just doesn't realise it."

"What if Amber really likes you?"

Krystal shook her head and told me about how Sulli had messaged Amber to tell her about Krystal's crush on her. "Even though Amber said that she took some time after the message to finally ask me out, I think the message plays a part to her decision too."

I nodded my head and let out a sigh. Krystal put her palms on my cheeks and forced me to look at her.

"There's something else that is bothering you, right?"

I blinked my eyes at her before nodding my head slowly. "It's about work. But no worries, I'll settle it. You have a lot of things in your mind already. Your final year."

Krystal arched her eyebrow at me before folding her arms. "You.. hiding things from me and not expressing yourself are the things that make me worry. I know it's my final year but that is my responsibility to make sure that I can cope well. I just want you to know that I'm here for you too, just like how you've been there for me."

I smiled and nodded my head at Krystal before we were interrupted by the appearance of Tiffany and Taeyeon who were holding hands.

"I guess someone won't be having nightmares anymore." I smirked at Taeyeon who showed me a thumbs up before Tiffany asked me about the meaning of my statement. "Taeyeon said that she's been having nightmares about you hating her."

"Pabo. I'm not unreasonable like you." Tiffany said before she pinched Taeyeon's cheeks as the girl pouted. "Where's Jessi and Yuri?"

"They went to pick up some food for us." Krystal said before she pointed out to somewhere. "There they are."

Jessica and Yuri came back, pushing two trolleys of food with them as everyone helped to transfer the food to the table.

"So have everyone settled their own problems?" Yuri asked as me and Taeyeon nodded our heads. "Good. Let's eat quickly. I just received a message that the two shikshins are coming here to meet us."

"The two shikshins?" Krystal looked at me as I mouthed out the word Sooyoung and Yoona. "Oh yah. I just remembered, Ambe.... "

Krystal paused her words as she turned abruptly to face me. She had an apologetic look on her face while the rest was looking at us with a blank expression. I started chuckling before I smiled.

"There's nothing wrong if you want to mention Amber's name. I'm okay with it. You were saying?"

"Amber introduced Yoona and Sooyoung as shikshin to me, Sulli and Luna when we first came to Twin Towers. That was why I said that I just remembered."

"Do you think Amber would stop working at Twin Towers because of what happened?" Jessica asked and before anyone could answer, we heard Sooyoung's voice.

"Why would Amber stop working at my cafe?"
