"Krystal? Luna? Oh my god. I can't believe it."

The two girls stopped walking when they heard their names being called as a wide smile appeared on their faces before they started to hug the person eagerly, jumping around a little. The three of them ended up laughing at their reactions as they broke away from each other.

"How long has it been since I last saw both of you? Was it since I moved to LA? Is Sulli here too?" The short-haired girl bombarded them with questions and a wide grin appeared on her face as Krystal and Luna shook their heads.

"She's been busy with her job." Krystal replied as she pointed to the sky. "Flying around."

"But she loves it and is enjoying her time, so we are happy for her even though it's hard to grab hold of her." Luna added on as Amber nodded her head in understanding.

"So what brought you girls here?" 

Krystal was about to answer Amber's question when she heard someone calling out Amber's name. Soon, Ailee appeared and once again, the girls shared a hug among themselves. Krystal explained to Amber and Ailee that both Luna and her were in LA to attend a fashion show which had lasted for a week and just ended yesterday.

"Today's our free day to roam around but also our last day here before our flight tomorrow." Luna added on with a pout.

"Really? Why is your schedule so tight? You need more than a day to enjoy LA fully." Ailee commented as she added on by saying that she thought she could invite them over to her place and treat them to something nice.

"Maybe both of you could hang out at our hotel room instead. We could just order room service." Krystal suggested as the rest agreed with her idea.

As they made their way towards Amber's car, they continued talking and sharing about what they had been up to since the last time they saw each other. Ailee explained that maybe Amber and her would return soon to Seoul once she has settle her business matters in LA. 

"So, how's you and Eunjin? Wait... are you both like married already, because I'll be very disappointed since I was not invited." Amber looked through the rear mirror when she was about to start the engine.

"No, we are not." Krystal's reply came with a serious tone as Ailee turned around from the passenger seat, looking a little concerned while a frown appeared on Amber's forehead. "Oh, sorry. I didn't mean to sound like that. We are still engaged. It's just that we are taking it slow at the moment."

Meanwhile in Seoul, Eunjin was staring at the computer screen while Taeyeon was looking over her shoulders. Both of them had a serious expression and seemed to be in deep thoughts. The door of their office opened but both of them didn't even looked up.

"Oh oh... Did something happened?" Jessica asked Yuri, who was now staring at her two friends. "They looked so serious and didn't even notice our presence."

Yuri nodded her head with Jessica's remarks as she made her way towards Taeyeon and Eunjin while Jessica took a seat at the couch a few metres from Eunjin's table. Yuri went and stood beside Taeyeon, behind Eunjin and now, all  three of them had a serious expression while staring at the computer.

Seeing that, Jessica grew confused and worried as she really thought that something bad had really happened. She waited for another five minutes but there was no changes to how the other three girls were reacting so she decided to find out herself.

"YAH!!!." 

"Aargghhh..... Apha, apha...."

Jessica's shout and Yuri's painful reaction as her right ear was pulled, shocked Eunjin and she almost fell from her chair. But luckily, Taeyeon managed to grab her shoulders.

"I thought something bad had happened with how serious all of you looked but you were just playing some detective game on screen." Jessica started to nag before staring at both Taeyeon and Eunjin.

"Tae..Tae...Taeyeon got stuck at solving the puzzles so I.. I.. I was just helping her out." Eunjin chuckled nervously as she quickly stood up beside Taeyeon and had her hands clasped together to the front. Taeyeon was already in the same pose so both of them looked like two kids being scolded by their mother.

"And you, Kwon Yuri?"

Yuri could only managed to grin and chuckled while rubbing her ear before she showed a fist at Eunjin.

"Anyway, why are both of you here?" Eunjin quickly changed the topic and walked towards the couch before the other three girls joined her.

"We were around the area so we decided to drop by." Yuri replied while avoiding eye contact which didn't go unnoticed from Eunjin.

"Really?" Eunjin shot back a question as Yuri chuckled again but her eyes stole a glance towards Jessica. "You don't have to lie. I know the reason."

Jessica let out a heavy sigh before folding her arm. Taeyeon could sense a slight tension in the atmosphere so she quickly excused herself by saying that she would go and get some drinks for them from Sooyoung's cafe.

The moment the door closed, Jessica didn't waste any minute to start questioning Eunjin.

"How long has it been? 6 months, 7 months?" Her eyes widened when Eunjin replied that it was 9 months. "How long more, Eunjin? When I agreed to both of your decisions to start over, I was not expecting it to be this long. And now, Krystal is even living on her own. At a rented apartment.

"She's not alone. She's staying with Luna." Eunjin replied but Jessica just rolled her eyes. She was about to say something again when Yuri placed her hand on her thighs and gently, squeezed them.

"Sica, we promised to trust them, right?" Yuri looked lovingly at her wife before Jessica slowly nodded her head. "Sorry, Eunjin. We didn't mean to sound pushy. Sica's just worried about her little sister, especially after she moved out from our place 3 months ago. Even though it's not Krystal's first time to stay on her own since she's done that during her schooling time but it's still a worry."

Eunjin nodded her head and let out a small sigh. "I'm worried too initially. I've been to their rented apartment a few times and it's really not that spacious but Krystal told me that she was fine with it. She wanted to try to stand on her own which is why she's trying not to spend unnecessarily. Seeing how she even took a bank loan to start her business without my help, I could sense her strong desire to succeed on her own for her dream to become a fashion designer. I'm actually proud of her."

"I'm proud of her too." Jessica quickly admitted as I broke into a smile. 

"I know that we are taking some time to pursue our own dreams at the moment but we are still very much in love with each other. Just continue to trust in us, okay."

I smiled widely to Jessica, who finally return a smile and nodded her head.
