V walked me home one Friday night after we had been on a date. We were hand in hand walking towards my home and I sighed. As soon as I walk through that threshold, the smile I was wearing would drop from my face. Nothing was good at home anymore, especially with Donghae staying there. He was even angrier than my father was about V and I. When would this end?

We stood outside Jinah’s house and she leant against the wall. I placed my hand on the wall beside her head and twirled her hair from my fingers with the other hand. I leant in to kiss her, but just as our lips touched the front door to her house opened; there stood her father, a look of frustration on his face.

“Jinah, go to my study, we need to talk.” Her father spoke and I frowned. What had happened to make him say that? Jinah took me by surprise when she kissed me in front of her father, but I still kissed her back.

“I love you.” She whispered before she went inside her house. I sighed as my eyes met her fathers and I turned to leave. I heard the front door shut and continued to walk away.

“Boy, come back here.” A voice called out to me and I halted in my steps. I turned to face Jinah’s father with confusion on my face. His hands were in his pockets as he walked towards me and I crossed my arms in front of my chest.

“I want you to stay away from Jinah, I know you think what you have is ‘love’ and you’ll never feel this way again, but I assure you that there is someone out there for you, but it’s not my daughter.” Minjoon told me and I looked down at the floor.

“I’m sorry, but I can’t do that, Sir. It’s Jinah’s choice who she wants to be with and I’m just lucky enough to be the one she chose. You can’t interfere anymore.” I told him but he didn’t back down. He gripped my shirt and shook me slightly.

“Look here, punk! She is my daughter and I will do whatever it takes to protect, even if it means getting rid of you!” He threatened
