~FLASHBACK~

The smashing sounds of plates and shattered galsses were heard. I sighed, dad must be drunk again. I walked out of bed with slumped shoulders to see what happened. 

"You mothering jerk!. Get out of this house. You're drunk again you bastard!" Mom bellowed on top of her lungs. 

"You , can't you see what you did to me? You went out with him and you put me aside. You acted as if I'm no longer yours! You hurted me all along.... get out of my house now..." Tears started to flow down dad's cheek. I shuddered at the thought of mom and dad fighting. This is bad, just worst.

"Yeah, he knows how to treat me right unlike you. I never wanted to marry you and have kids. Remember, that girl is not mine. You forced me to do it and now, I had to marry you. I never liked you. I just wanted pleasure from you!" Mom said.

"Don't you feel sorry for your daughter? Even after what you did to her? She suffered alot and she needs someone to take care of her..." Dad's words drifted away.

"That bastard is not my daughter, I say! The both of you have nothing to do with me. NOTHING! You guys are just a piece of " Then, I heard the front door banged loudly.

My jaw dropped when I heard those words. I was devastated. So, this was all a mistake. I was a mistake, being born in this world. T-This can't be true. I slapped myself, expecting to wake up from this horrible dream but... this was reality. Sh-she doesn't love us anymore. She didn't even wanted me before. You ing ignorant . You blamed us for everything and just left us stranded, alone. 

Suddenly, dad came into my room and whispered "everything's going to be alright baby". He started feeling me from the netire body. I cringed but he doesn't want to stop. Soon, it became aggresive and he pushed me onto the bed. He stripped off his clothes and started to let out his frustrations by hitting me hard with his belt. I scremed when he became rough. I couldn't do anything but just kept quiet. I knew if I were to stop him, he would punish me even further.

After it all ended, dad went out and I just stayed on the bed helplessly. I couldn't do anything but just to lie down, like a dead body. W-w-why?! Why does everything have to be my fault?! I tried to stand up but my legs gave in and I fell to the ground, unconscious.

~REALITY~

A cold shiver ran down my spine when I tried recalling what had happened before. I couldn't let myself think of it. This was why I didn't want to go back to Korea. Those memories kept on haunting me. I still had those bite marks and scars from what had happened from all those years. Mom abused me when I was young and treated me like a slave. Now, dad took me for granted just for his pleasure. I was never wanted in this world. 

Those scars that cannot be removed...... at all. I was not only abused and left by my mother, alot of other undesirable things happened to me when I was just 5 years old. It was really hard for me to handle these things. I was just unlucky and nobody cared for me. I put down my spoon from eating Bibimbap and went into my room. I climbed onto my bed and hugged my knees towards my chest.

Everything just doesn't seem right. If only Dad didn't take that job opportunity and decided to come back here. I started to cry and kept those tears from flowing because I had been keeping them for so long. I just needed someone to be by my side now. Someone who is able to console me and make me feel good about myself. Well, nobody would Kwon Yoora, I thought to myself. 

The next morning, I woke up with a grumbling noise from my stomach. I held it and made my way to the kitchen to find some food. I had not eaten anything from lunch to dinner yesterday. I only ate a bread which was just..... stupid. , it's nearly 8am and I'm going to be late for school. I gobbled down my breakfast after showering and made my way to schoolas fast as possible. Gosh Kwon Yoora, how can you be late?! I had been crying alot yesterday and both of my eyes were literally swollen.

I forgot to put on some moisturizer so that no one would notice my swollen eyes, since I was rushing my way to school. Great, now everyone is wondering what happened to my eyes since they were all staring at me when I walked down the hallway. This is definitely not the kind of attention that I wanted early in the morning. 

"Yah, you brat" A familiar voice spoke. 

I ignored and rolled my eyes, going to my locker to get some books...
