For the first time in Minho’s memory, Taemin did not pick up his phone. It was strange, because Minho knew that Taemin had another final exam in an hour, so he should have already been awake.

                To be sure that it wasn’t just that Taemin had missed the phone, he called again a few more times, still with no answer. He even called Daehyun, but Daehyun was out and didn’t know if Taemin was still at the dorm.

                He knew his paranoia was probably getting to him, but he had to go check on Taemin. He wouldn’t be able to take his own exam properly if he didn’t make sure Taemin was okay.

                He knocked on Taemin’s door in a slightly panicked manner. It seemed like ages before Taemin finally opened the door.

                “Taeminnie!” Minho cried. “You look awful, are you okay? I was so worried about you!”

                “Ah, hyung,” Taemin said, rubbing his eyes adorably. “I stayed up all night studying and I just woke up again when you knocked.”

                “I’m sorry,” Minho apologized, but Taemin waved it off.

                “I needed to get up anyway. I hope I can stay awake for the exam though. I need an energy drink or something.”

                Minho leaned in and kissed Taemin spontaneously. Taemin looked up, his eyes suddenly wide and significantly more awake-looking.

                “Will that help?” Minho smiled.

                “I’m really tired, hyung, I don’t think just one will do.” Minho laughed as he gave Taemin another kiss.
