“Oh, hey, it’s October,” Minho said. “Look, Taemin, I found this old calendar of mine and I kept notes. It’s from…2010? That’s a while ago.”

                “You keep your old calendars?” Taemin asked, looking skeptical of the usefulness of such an act.

                “Yeah. It’s like a diary—sorry, journal—except manlier.”

                “Whatever,” Taemin laughed.

                “Let’s see what I did today two years ago,” Minho smiled, turning to October. “October sixth, 2010. Ah—what—” he quickly closed the calendar.

                “Wait, what did you do?”

                “Nothing,” Minho said too quickly. “I didn’t do anything on October sixth. It’s…it’s blank.”

                “I don’t believe you, you liar,” Taemin giggled, reaching for the calendar. “Come on, let’s see it.”

                “No, really, nothing’s there!” Minho said, turning so that Taemin couldn’t reach the calendar.

                “You’re lying!” Taemin cried. “There’s something there, I’m sure of it. If there wasn’t, you wouldn’t be as red as a cherry tomato right now.”

                “I’m not red,” Minho retorted, unconsciously putting his hands up to cover his cheeks.

                “Ha!” Taemin cried, seizing the opportunity to snatch the calendar. Minho cried out and tried to grab the calendar out of Taemin’s hands, and they scuffled for a few seconds before Taemin turned his back to Minho and looked at October.

                “October sixth: ‘fell in love.’ Hyung! That’s adorable! You wrote the day you fell in love?”

                “Like I said,” Minho pouted, having been soundly defeated, “I wrote down everything I did.”

                “Aw, hyung. This is so cute.”

                “Whatever,” Minho muttered, and Taemin giggled as he kissed Minho on the cheek.
