“A soccer tournament? In this heat?” Taemin asked.

                “Yeah,” Minho replied. “It’s not that hot, really.”

                “Are you kidding?” Taemin laughed. “It’s a million degrees out here, and it has been all week.”

                “Well, it’s not too hot for me,” Minho replied. “I think I’m going to play.”

                “You’re going to die,” Taemin shook his head. “But whatever you want to do.”

                “Well, I guess if you think it’s too hot—”

                “It is,” Taemin said.

                “Well, if you think it’s too hot, that means I guess you don’t want to come watch my tournament. You choose cool over me,” Minho said, acting as if he’d been rejected.

                “Wait, hyung! I never said that,” Taemin said hurriedly. “I never said that I was going to choose anything over you.”

                “So it’s not too hot?” Minho asked.

                “It is,” Taemin said again, “but that doesn’t mean I’d prefer to be cool. I do want to watch you, hyung!”

                “Good,” Minho grinned, pecking Taemin on the cheek. “The game starts in an hour, on the field near your old neighborhood. I hope you’ll be there!”

                He ran off, picking up his soccer ball as he sped off to get ready for the game.

                Taemin was left staring.

                “But…that field is in full sun…” he stuttered, but he’d already promised Minho.

                Of course, he could take a little heat for his perfect boyfriend.
