“It’s all a joke, isn’t it?” Minho cried, running into Taemin’s room. “It’s April Fools’ Day; you’re not really leaving, are you? It was all just an elaborate joke, wasn’t it?”

Daehyun looked up confusedly as he helped a solemn Taemin pack his bags.

“No, hyung, I’m really leaving,” Taemin explained.

“And so am I,” Daehyun said as he left the room, leaving Taemin and Minho alone.

“You’re really going?” Minho asked quietly.

“Yes, but I’ll be back before you know it. Anyway, didn’t you tell me that you were going to give me enough kisses to last me through the week?”

“I did say that,” Minho acknowledged. “Oh god, Taemin, I adore you more than you could ever imagine; I don’t know what I’m going to do without you.”

“Don’t think about that,” Taemin breathed into Minho’s ear as they both sat down on Taemin’s bed. Taemin pressed his plush lips against Minho’s, intertwining their fingers.

“Taemin, I love you,” Minho said in between kisses. “I love you.”

“I love you too, hyung. So much,” Taemin replied as he kissed Minho back. After a plethora of adoring kisses, finally they just held each other, as if to make up for the time they’d be apart. It would be a long week, but Minho wouldn’t stop thinking about Taemin even for a moment.
