Minho was on his way to Taemin’s dorm. They were going to hang out this afternoon, maybe bug Daehyun a little bit just for fun. Or perhaps they’d draw pictures, or sit around and chat. Could be anything, really.

                Of course, he was on his way. Meaning he never quite got there. Minho stopped when he saw Taemin crouched down on the sidewalk, peering into a bush. Minho smiled, as this seemed like something Taemin would do.

                “Taeminnie,” Minho said as he stood behind Taemin.

                “Wah!” Taemin yelped, jumping slightly. The bush rustled. Taemin put his finger to his lips to tell Minho to be quiet.

                “Hyung,” he whispered, “there’s a cat in the bush. I want to be friends with it!”

                “Taeminnie, you have to lure it out with something. I have a ham sandwich in my backpack, do you want to try that?” Minho offered. Taemin smiled in acceptance, looking excited. Minho unpacked the sandwich and handed it to Taemin.

                “Here, kitty,” Taemin cooed, holding out the sandwich for the cat. “Here you go!” The cat ventured out of the bush slowly, and Taemin gave it the sandwich as he gingerly moved to pet its head. It stopped at looked at him, but didn’t give any indication that it didn’t want Taemin’s hand there. It allowed itself to be pet, and eventually Taemin was able to pick it up.

                “Hyung,” Taemin said happily, “I think it likes me!”

                “I think so too, Taemin! What should we name it?”

                “Mm…Uyu.”

                “Milk?”

                “Yeah!” Taemin cried. Minho laughed and agreed. They set out a little dish of water and promised the cat they’d come back every day. Taemin’s excitement was cute to Minho. Then again, Taemin was always cute to Minho.

A/N: The internet is never complete without cats. I dislike this chapter anyway. Eh. This is why I need suggestions.
