“Are you sure it’s safe?” Taemin asked as they stepped tentatively onto the roof. “I don’t know, hyung, it seems really dangerous. What if we fall?”

                “I’ll catch you,” Minho said, looking off into the sunset. Taemin scoffed.

                “If you caught me, then you’d fall too and we’d both be dead.”

                “Don’t think like that,” Minho laughed.

                “I’m just saying, hyung, I’ll kill you if we die.” Minho laughed again.

                “Well, that makes sense,” he said in light sarcasm. “Don’t worry, we’ll be fine. Look at the sunset over there. Isn’t it beautiful?”

                “It would be really pretty if it was over the water. Too bad we’re on the east coast, huh?”

                “We’ll go to Hawaii one day and we’ll see the sunset over the water. Wouldn’t that be nice?” Minho mused, looking at the halo the sun gave Taemin’s hair as he nodded in agreement. “Taemin, you’re so beautiful.” He took Taemin’s arm and pulled him close. Taemin leaned his head on Minho’s shoulder, and it fit perfectly in the crook of Minho’s neck.

                “And you’re wonderfully handsome, hyung. I think the setting sun makes everything prettier.”

                “You’re always pretty,” Minho said, “but I think I’d have to agree. I love the glow that it gives everything.”

                “Exactly. Can you read my mind or something?” Taemin giggled, but Minho only nodded.

                “They say that soulmates have connected thoughts,” he offered, and Taemin smiled, kissing Minho’s jaw.

                “Well, that explains it then,” Taemin replied happily. 

A/N: Lalala this chapter is kind of weird because I've been reading manga all day and now my characters are all messed up. Oh well.
