The snow that had been lightly dusting the ground the previous day had all melted, much to Taemin’s dismay. It was still cold, but not cold enough for the snow to stay snow, which meant that outside it was damp and really not Taemin or Minho’s favorite kind of weather. And to top that off, they had class. Taemin wanted to do something for Minho, since he’d been doing so much lately, and he knew that Minho had had a really important presentation that day.

Taemin surprised Minho outside of Minho’s kinesiology class.

“Hyung,” Taemin exclaimed, popping out from nowhere.

“Taemin-ah! You scared me. What’s up?”

“Hyung, you have a few hours to spare, right?”

“Right now? Yeah, I guess my next class is at six so I have about four hours.”

“Do you want to go running along the river? I thought that might make you feel happy,” Taemin ventured, looking up at his boyfriend. He knew Minho loved running, and even though Taemin hated it, he had to sacrifice something for the guy who already sacrificed so much for him. Really, the comparison wasn’t even there when Taemin thought about it. Going running was the least he could do.

“Really?”

“Sure!”

“Let’s go then!”

About half an hour later they found themselves jogging along the side of the Han. Taemin was already getting tired, but he tried not to let it show. Minho noticed Taemin slowing down anyway. He grinned as he slowed down himself, letting Taemin catch up to him.

“Tired, Taeminnie?”

“No, hyung! I…can…keep running,” he panted. “For you.” Minho laughed.

“Well, I’m pretty tired. Let’s walk.”

“Are you sure?”

“Of course I am!” Minho said, smiling. “Taeminnie, you’re the best.” He held Taemin’s hand and entwined their fingers as they strolled down the riverbank.

A/N: Less fluffy than usual I think, but if it were me in Taemin’s shoes, my runner boyfriend should thank the lord that I suggested running, because as Key says, the thing I hate most on Earth is running. I wouldn't ever do that for him (right now, anyway), so Minho is lucky kekeke.
