Their Friday meeting with Onew had been a little later than usual, so by the time they’d brought Onew back to his house (where Joon had been waiting impatiently), it was getting dark already.

                “Hyung,” Taemin said, “tonight, I’m going to take you out to dinner.”

                “Oh, are you?” Minho chuckled. “Alright then, darling, where are we going?”

                “You’ll see, hyung,” Taemin grinned. He liked switching things up sometimes. He was always the cute one, but he knew that Minho got a kick out of whenever Taemin took charge. He looked up at Minho, who looked genuinely excited for their date.

                “Kimbap!” Minho cried as Taemin opened the door of the restaurant. “My favorite! Ah, Taeminnie, you’re the best.”

                “I knew you’d like it!” Taemin said proudly. He grinned as Minho ordered his kimbap, looking like a child in a candy store.

                Once they’d finished, Taemin made a point of escorting Minho back to his dorm room. Minho accepted smilingly.

                “Well, goodnight, hyung,” Taemin said, turning to go.

                “Hey, mister, don’t you think you’re forgetting a very important part of the typical date?” Minho asked jokingly.

                “And what might that be?” Taemin asked, though he knew perfectly well.

                “You’re supposed to kiss me when you drop me off at my front door.” Taemin smiled and walked over to Minho, kissing him tenderly, the perfect ending to a perfect date.

                Minho’s door opened.

                “Yah! What do you think you two are doing?” Himchan cried.

                “And there’s the trademark overprotective appa,” Taemin giggled, and Minho couldn’t help but laugh along.

Himchan = overprotective appa. Not really.

A/N: I'm always scared to have one of those perfect dates because I just know that my dad or something would interrupt me in the middle of my kiss and I'd never live it down. I guess I'll just have to wait until college when my roommate can either be my overprotective umma or not care at all.
