“I can’t believe it’s raining. Our first full day at the beach and it’s raining,” Minho complained, looking out the window. Taemin let out a sigh from the kitchen.

                “Don’t worry about it, hyung, we can have lots of fun right here. We don’t need to worry about anything. We’ll go to the beach another day. It won’t rain the entire time we’re here. Anyway, I need your help with the kimbap.” Minho looked wistfully out the window once again before turning towards Taemin.

                “What do you need help with?”

                “Cook the egg—and don’t forget to grease the pan before you put the eggs in, okay, hyung?” Taemin instructed. Minho grinned sheepishly. The first time they’d made kimbap together, that was exactly what Minho had done. Minho’s poor culinary skills were the reason Taemin had convinced him to take the cooking class.

                “I only did that once,” Minho protested with a laugh. “And you just remade the eggs, so no harm was done.”

                “Silly hyung,” Taemin giggled.

               “I won’t mess them up this time, I promise,” Minho said, and Taemin pranced over to him, kissing him on the cheek.

                “I’d still eat them even if you did,” Taemin said.

                “Even if I put eggshells in it?” Minho asked jocularly. Taemin gave him a look.

                “As long as you made it with love, then I’d eat it,” Taemin said, turning back to the rice he was cooking. Minho grinned slyly as he poised himself to crack the eggs, but Taemin caught him. “That does not mean you can put eggshells in, hyung. Don’t even try it.”

                Minho smiled as he leaned over to kiss Taemin’s head.

                “I love you,” he said. 

A/N: I like this chapter. But even better, GUESS WHO FINALLY MADE KIMBAP TODAY? THAT'S RIGHT. I DID. KIMXIE FOREVER.

There are a lot of things I need to change...I guess it was brave of me to try since my friends actually call me "Kitchen Disaster Exie" because I can't cook to save my life. I made a lot of mistakes (including not greasing the pan before I cooked the eggs...) but at least it was edible hahaha.
