Taemin was standing straight up against the wall when Minho got home.

                “Taeminnie, what are you doing?” Minho asked.

                “Do I look different to you?” Taemin wondered, and Minho looked him up and down. He hated that question. Every time Taemin asked it, Minho never knew what to say.

                “No,” he admitted truthfully. Taemin sighed. “Not since I’ve last seen you, anyway.” Taemin looked over.

                “No, I don’t mean since you last saw me. I mean like…since February or something.”

                “Well, I mean, you did dye your hair,” Minho pointed out, but Taemin shook his head.

                “Don’t I look…you know, like, a little more handsome?”

                “You look more handsome every day,” Minho said, and Taemin sighed audibly.

                “No, no,” Taemin said.

                “What do you want me to say?” Minho asked.

                “That I’m taller!” Taemin cried. “Aren’t I taller?” Minho looked at Taemin again, and even though he couldn’t see any change, he remembered that day back in February (or perhaps it had been March) that Taemin had seemed so tiny. He’d lifted him up and sure enough, he had been small.

                Not so anymore. Taemin was definitely closer to Minho’s height.

                “Well, yeah,” Minho finally replied, and Taemin beamed.

                “Really?”

                “You’re a real giant,” Minho laughed, ruffling Taemin’s hair.
