“Hyung, I want to learn English,” Taemin announced. “Don’t you think it would be useful?”

                “You know English, silly,” Minho replied. “We learned it in school for years, remember?”

                “Yeah, but I want to learn it for real. Like, be really good at it. I have to think every time I speak English. You know? I have to pause between words.”

                “You do that sometimes with Korean too,” Minho coughs, and Taemin elbows him jokingly in the ribs.

                “Really, hyung,” Taemin chuckled. “I want to learn English.”

                “Why don’t you enroll next semester?” Minho asked. “It could be fun, right? You’ve always loved languages anyway. You got through Japanese pretty quick.”

                “Maybe I will,” Taemin mused. “In the meantime, I think we should watch movies and TV shows in English.”

                “Hey, I’m not the one who wants to learn,” Minho laughed, putting out his hands as if to stop Taemin. “Don’t drag me into this too.”

                “But it could be good!” Taemin cried. “Really!”

                “I’m perfectly fine with knowing Korean and Mandarin, thank you very much,” Minho said. “But honestly, Taeminnie, if you want to learn English, go for it. I know you can do it.”

                “Thanks for being encouraging, hyung,” Taemin smiled. “I love you.”

A/N: Update 6/6 for today. How did I do all of that? Anyway my roommate ordered a Korean textbook and workbook (have I told you about my roomie? She listens to k-pop and can also read Korean and in fact her boyfriend is Korean too so we're basically soulmates. She even has a Big Bang poster on her side of the wall) and anyway so we're going to have weekly Korean lessons together hehe. It's going to be so much fun!
