The two were in the library, sitting at a table. Taemin was reading the dictionary. Why, Minho had no idea, but he was. It was something he did rather often, and Minho never understood it.

                “Hyung,” Taemin said offhandedly, “you know how ‘nonchalant’ is a word?”

                “I guess, sure,” Minho said, looking over a calculus problem.

                “Like, being nonchalant is being laid back or casual, right?”

                “Yeah, like us right now.”

                “Right,” Taemin said, looking back at the dictionary to make sure he hadn’t missed something.

                “Okay, continue.”

                “Right. Why isn’t ‘chalant’ a word?”

                “Isn’t it?”

                “No!”

                “Then how would you describe being chalant?” Minho asked. Taemin turned to him with a smile.

                “Like this,” he said. Taemin intertwined their fingers and kissed Minho on the cheek, obviously enough that if anyone had been paying attention, they would have seen them easily. “We’re usually chalant.”

                “In that case, it definitely should be a word,” Minho grinned as he kissed Taemin’s rosy cheek back. “It could be one of our words.”

                “Hyung,” Taemin said happily, snuggling into Minho’s shoulder. “I’m going to look for other words that could be ours! I love our words.” He turned the page of the dictionary.

                Taemin never fails to keep me interested, Minho thought as he chuckled to himself. 

A/N: Writer's block...we meet again...Anyway I wrote this because my best friend is in Florida this week and I miss her. She and I always say that "chalant" should be a word. It's kind of our thing. So I guess it's a little weird that I'm making that into a romance considering she and I are both very straight girls who both have boyfriends...whatever. It's a bromance for girls.
