“Hi, hyung,” Taemin said into the phone. “Guess what?”

                “What?”

                “Umma’s show is going really really well,” Taemin told him happily. “There’s a gallery in America that wants to buy pretty much her entire collection, but there’s one in France that’ll give more for a few of her paintings, and then there’s another gallery in China that wants a lot of them too, so she’s really happy. She’s already sold that big one that you liked so much!”

                “That’s great, Taeminnie!” Minho replied, genuinely happy to hear how proud Taemin was of his mother.

                “And I have another surprise for you,” Taemin said slyly with a slight giggle. 

                “What is it?”

                “You’ll see,” Taemin replied. “I think you’ll like it.”

                “Taeminnnnn,” Minho whined. “Don’t tell me that you have a surprise for me if you’re not going to reveal it.”

                “But then it wouldn’t be a surprise!” Taemin cried with a laugh. “I’ll give you a hint though.”

                “Okay, give me a hint,” Minho chuckled.

                “I love you more than the ocean is wide,” Taemin said, and Minho could hear his smile.

                “What’s that supposed to mean?” Minho complained.

                “If you can’t figure it out from that, you’ll just have to wait and see,” Taemin teased. “I love you, hyung. Talk to you later, okay?”

                “Okay,” Minho replied, suddenly extremely curious. 

A/N: I kinda like this chapter. The BF took me to art museums today so I've been thinking about art a lot. We saw soooo much ancient Korean pottery. Seriously, those potters were geniuses. They're amazing.
