“Why are we here again?” Minho whispered to Taemin. Taemin pouted as he stared straight ahead at his mother and her boyfriend.

                “I told umma that I saw appa yesterday. And she insisted that she and Jungseok-hyung—yeah, he tells me to call him ‘hyung’—take us out for ice cream. Hyung, I seriously don’t understand umma when it comes to appa.”

                “Neither do I,” Minho assured him. “But it’s fine. We’re getting free ice cream, right? It’s fine.”

                “If you say so,” Taemin smiled up at him.
