“Omo, how good of you all to come,” Key’s mother said. “I’m so happy that Kibum invited all of you here, I absolutely adore cooking for you.”

                “Thank you for inviting us,” Jonghyun said politely, and he, Taemin and Minho all bowed.

                “Come right in, come right in.” They walked into Key’s spacious family home. Even though it wasn’t far from the campus, it felt like an entirely different world.

                After they all sat for dinner, Key’s mother bombarded them with questions.

                “Taemin-ah, I hear you played Chunhyang in the play yesterday? That’s unusual. Who was Mongryong?”

                “Oh…Minho was Mongryong, mother,” Key explained. “It was good.”

                “Minho-hyung is a great actor,” Taemin piped up, looking at Minho with an expression of the utmost affection.

                “Taemin-ah is good too,” Minho replied quickly. Key’s mother smiled.

                The dinner was delicious. It was a European style dinner, with roast beef and pasta and salad and all sorts of delicious food normally out of a college student’s reach.

                Once they’d finished, Key’s mother ushered them out the door, saying they needed a good night’s sleep because they had class the next day. As he was the last one out the door, Key’s mother held him back for a moment.

                “Minho-yah, when are you going to propose to that boy? It’s so obvious how in love you both are,” she smiled.

                “I haven’t decided yet,” he said. “But I will propose to him sooner or later.”

                “As it should be. Goodbye, dear.”

                “Goodbye, and thank you!” Minho said, leaving the house with a grin that stretched across his face.
