“Hyung, I want to go on a picnic tomorrow,” Taemin said, “so will you help me make some kimbap?”
“Sure, Taeminnie. What did you want to put in it?”
“Mm…bulgogi, daikon, egg, carrots, imitation crab, and spinach!” Taemin said happily. Minho laughed, and Taemin knew that it was because that was the same kimbap recipe he used every time. He couldn’t help it if it was his favorite.
“Okay, Taeminnie, I’ll help you,” Minho replied with a smile. He took the bag of rice out and put it in the cooker with some water. Once it was done, Taemin had already set out all the ingredients and they just fried the egg.
Taemin put it all together carefully (“Should I put the egg next to the daikon? Two yellows together doesn’t look good…”) and rolled it with precision.
Minho was pleased. He looked forward to eating Taemin’s kimbap, because Taemin was a good cook. The kimbap he made was easily better than any restaurant’s kimbap. It was made, as Taemin would say, with love. And Minho could taste the difference.
“Hyung, help me with the sesame oil!” Taemin said, nudging Minho with his elbow.
Minho leaned down and kissed Taemin’s cheek before helping him seal the kimbap rolls. The picnic tomorrow would be wonderful.

It's official. I'm on a kimbap rampage. In addition to kimbap I am also officially in love with cucumber kimchi.
Oh, did I tell you this yet? I was on a field trip on Thursday and I saw these two really cute Asian guys walking across the street at the same time as me. I was kind of dressed up since it was a business-y field trip and they were I guess interns or something, but anyway, I was like "oh they're cute," and me and my friends passed them. I turned back to look at them again AT THE SAME TIME ONE OF THEM LOOKED BACK AT ME. He smiled at me and I was totally blushing for like five minutes afterwards. It was awesome. Too bad I didn't get his name or anything...
