Taemin had called Minho to say he’d take a little longer than normal to get ready for their date, Minho decided he’d go give Uyu some food on his way there. He gave her some banana milk (even though he wasn’t sure if cats drank that) and some fish he’d swiped from the cafeteria. He figured that by the time he’d finished feeding Uyu, Taemin would be ready, and so he headed over to Taemin’s dorm room.

                He knocked on the door (he didn’t always just barge in), and Taemin opened it slightly.

                “Hyung,” Taemin said, “I don’t think we can go out today.”

                “Why not?” Minho asked, looking Taemin up and down to see if maybe something had happened. “Is everything okay?”

                “No…” Taemin said slowly, “hyung, I can’t find any of my shoes. I think Daehyun took them all as a joke.” Minho had to laugh.

                “We can just stay here then,” Minho suggested.

                “I want to go out though!” Taemin cried. “We always stay here.”

                “You could borrow a pair of my shoes,” Minho offered. “I know they’re a little big, but they should do for a day.”

                “I guess,” Taemin sighed.

                “Come on then, let’s go,” Minho said as he hoisted Taemin up on his back.

                “Wah, hyung, what are you doing?” Taemin giggled.

                “Don’t want to get your feet dirty, your highness,” Minho teased. Taemin held onto Minho tightly and laughed into his hair.

                “I love you, hyung.”
