Minho was feeling particularly nice today. Knowing full well that Taemin had been dejected all day over the math test he thought he failed, he figured it would be a good idea to do something to cheer Taemin up. He waited outside Taemin’s dance studio, waiting for him to finish. Taemin usually finished at nine, but it was already nine fifteen and Taemin wasn’t out yet.

            He’d brought a present with him. He hated seeing Taemin’s sad face, and even when Taemin tried to hide his disappointment, Minho could still see the unhappiness in those deep brown eyes. Anyway, wasn’t cheering up Taemin something Minho was supposed to do as a good boyfriend?

            Finally at nine twenty Taemin left the studio, his skin glowing healthily and his clothes fitting loosely on his limber body. It was uncharacteristically warm for February.

            “Minho-hyung, what are you doing here? You never meet me on Wednesdays!”

            “You looked so sad today; I decided I’d bring you a pick-me-up,” Minho supplied, beaming at Taemin, who looked beautiful even though he was covered in sweat.

            “You didn’t bring me soju, did you, hyung?” Taemin asked suspiciously. “You know I’m underage, right?”

            “Of course I didn’t bring you soju!” Minho laughed. “Here.” He took a small bottle out of his bag.

           “Banana milk!” Taemin cried, smiling again just how Minho wished he would. “Hyung, you know me so well. Here, popo!” Taemin pointed to his mouth. Minho obliged, leaning down to peck Taemin’s plush lips. They both laughed.

            “Feeling better?” Minho asked. Taemin looked up at him, smiling.

            “Much.”
