Minho’s phone rang that familiar ringtone, and he picked it up happily.

                “Hi, Taeminnie!” he sang.

                “Hyung,” Taemin said. “Hi, hyung.”

                “Hi! What’s up?” he asked. “Is there something you need?”

                “You hung out with that girl, didn’t you?” Taemin demanded suddenly, and Minho almost laughed.

                “Taeminnie, I haven’t seen her since the last time we talked.”

                “You hung out with her though, didn’t you?” Taemin demanded again, and Minho sensed some slurring of his words.

                “Are you drunk again?” Minho asked, and Taemin made a gurgling sound.

                “Hyung, I love you. Don’t leave me.”

                “I’m not going to leave you, silly Taemin. Don’t worry,” Minho said reassuringly.

                “I love you, hyung.”

                “I love you too, Taemin,” Minho replied.

                “I love you.”

                “I love you too.”

                “I love you!”

                “Taemin, stop. You’re just saying the same thing over and over. You’re drunk again, aren’t you?” Minho asked cautiously, and Taemin started to cry.

                “You don’t love me anymore!” he sobbed. Minho heaved a deep sigh.

                “Taemin, I told you, I love you. But you’re just saying the same thing over and over.”

                “It’s her, isn’t it? You love her!” Taemin sniffled. Minho clarified, that no, he didn’t love her, he loved Taemin, but Taemin wouldn’t listen.

                “Seriously, Taeminnie,” he said after reassuring Taemin for what was almost five minutes. “I love you and nobody else, and I’m not going to leave you. Okay? Taemin?”

                But Taemin had fallen asleep, and Minho could hear his deep breaths through the phone. He smiled, knowing that Taemin would have a difficult first day of school tomorrow. 

A/N: This happened to my roommate last night lol. Her boyfriend had a drink with his dad and...well, as they were on the phone, let's just say his insecurities were showing. He's coming to stay with us this weekend for a few days. Should be quite interesting.
