“No…No!” Minho cried. He stomped his foot down in frustration. “They can’t do this!”

                “Hyung, come on, don’t get excited. You’re an invalid,” Taemin said, walking into the room with Jisoo in his arms. He sat himself down on the couch next to Minho, who was looking at his computer screen angrily. “What is it?”

                “They scheduled the Friendly Soccer Competition for tomorrow, and so I registered but they say I can’t play with a broken arm! It’s not like my legs are broken! I can still run, I can still kick.”

                “They just don’t want you to get even more hurt,” Taemin said.

                “I really wanted to play, though. I’ve been looking forward to this thing for weeks. And if they don’t have me, I’m not sure my team will be allowed to play. They won’t have enough players. This is so depressing.”

                “You know what?” Taemin said slowly, looking at Minho. “I…I could play for them. I know I’m not that good, but…I could try, right?”

                “Wait, you’d really do that?” Minho asked. “But you hate running. You hate sports.”

                “But for you. For your team! I’d do it,” Taemin replied. “Really, I would.”

                “Are you sure? It can get pretty rough.”

                “I’ll do it,” Taemin replied. “Even though they might not win because of me, they’ll still get a chance, right?”

                “Taemin, oh my god, you’re the best,” Minho said, but Taemin stopped him.

                “I’ll do it on one condition,” Taemin stipulated.

                “What?”

                “That you be my cheerleader for the whole tournament.”

                “Deal,” Minho replied, and he kissed Taemin full on the lips.
