Minho’s phone was ringing. Taemin had changed the ringtone himself so that it would play some cutesy Japanese pop song every time Taemin—and only Taemin—called. Taemin told Minho he did it because that way, Minho would always know it was him.

                “Hey,” Minho answered the phone. Immediately he knew something was wrong.

                Taemin was crying. Taemin crying was the worst sound in the world, the most heart-wrenching sound, and every time Minho heard his sobs, he had to do something about it.

                “Baby, where are you?” Minho asked urgently.

                “Hyung, I’m at my dorm,” Taemin sniffled, “but—”

                “I’m coming, I’ll be right there, hang on, Taeminnie,” Minho said. He hung up the phone and dashed over to Taemin’s dorm as fast as his long legs could carry him. When he finally reached Taemin’s room, he threw open the door and rushed over to Taemin, enveloping him in a crushing hug that told him everything would be okay.

               “Taemin, what happened?” Minho asked, still squeezing the crying Taemin. “Are you hurt?” Taemin shook his head. “You can tell me, everything will be okay.”

                “Hyung, she died!”

                “Who died?” Minho asked worriedly.

                “Kang Seungyeon,” Taemin sniffled.

                “What? You mean…the character from the drama?”

                “Yeah, her death was so dramatic, so sad, and Kim Joowon didn’t even get a chance to say goodbye!”

                “Is that why you were crying?”

                “Yeah,” Taemin said, wiping his eyes as he looked at the DVD case’s cover.

                “Taemin, I love you, but don’t ever scare me like that again,” Minho sighed.

                “Well,” Taemin giggled, “I think a kiss could do me good anyway.” Minho smiled as he gladly obliged. 

A/N: Tehehehehe scared you too, didn't I? No? Oh well. I hope you liked it anyway. Just so you know Kang Seungyeon and Kim Joowon are purely figments of my imagination, they're not meant to be anyone in particular ;)
