They’d decided to drive to Haeundae, because Taemin claimed he liked long car rides. Minho had scoffed, but Taemin had insisted. And Minho’s willpower was no match for Taemin’s insistence, as they’d both learned from experience, so Minho finally gave in, reminding Taemin that Minho was the one who was driving, so Taemin would have to pay him back when they got to the beach.

                “Fine, hyung, I’ll pay you back very well,” Taemin said slyly as they got in the car. “Very well.”

                “Taemin,” Minho scolded, “that’s not what I had in mind.”

                “Too bad, hyung,” Taemin sang. He changed the subject. “I’m excited for the beach! We have to build sandcastles and find lots of seashells, okay?”

                “Of course we will,” Minho said, and he swore they must have talked about seashells for nearly an hour. He was going on about some type of seashell when he turned to Taemin once they’d reached a stoplight.

                Taemin was fast asleep, leaning against the window.

                Minho chuckled to himself. Taemin was beyond adorable. With a face so innocent, Minho thought comically that he couldn’t accept Taemin’s promised repayment.

                He leaned over and kissed Taemin on the cheek, and continued driving as the light turned green. He couldn’t wait to get there and shower Taemin with kisses. He deserved it; he was just that cute.
