Suddenly, the weather was beautiful. It was as if Mother Nature knew it was March and decided to let spring finally arrive. It was cool, but not cold, and sunny with not a trace of clouds in the sky.
And so Minho had made Taemin a promise. If Taemin got an A on his earth science quiz, Minho would take him out for ice cream. He knew it was a little bit cruel to make such a promise, especially when Taemin was having such a hard time in earth science class that even with intensive studying, the highest grade he’d been getting consistently was a B.
Taemin poked his head into Minho’s dorm room, with a dejected look on his face.
“How’d it go?” Minho asked.
“Hyung,” Taemin said sadly. And suddenly, his whole demeanor changed and he grinned hugely. “I got a fifty-five!”
“Out of one hundred?” Minho cried.
“No, hyung, out of fifty! Fifty-five out of fifty! You owe me ice cream!” he exclaimed gleefully. Minho laughed.
“Good job, Taeminnie!” I’ll treat you to ice cream today and tomorrow for getting such a good score!”
They set off for the ice cream parlor near the campus and Taemin picked out his favorite flavors, banana and strawberry, and had them in a big waffle cone topped with sprinkles. Minho got vanilla, which he knew was plain, but he liked it.
As they left the shop, Taemin stood on his tiptoes and kissed Minho, who could taste the banana flavor still on Taemin’s tongue.
“Thanks for motivating me, hyung. You’re the best.”
A/N: Love that picture of Taemin^^^^^. ANYWAY I did awesome on my earth science quiz today so I had to write about it. Because I usually fail but I did so well today. I wasn't promised ice cream by my boyfriend though. I did this on my own kekeke.

@mynameissomeone: Oh, leap day is February 29th, because it only happens on leap years. It's what we call it here in the states...but maybe they don't use it elsewhere in the world? I don't know.
