"Hyung, now I realize why you hated calculus last year," Taemin groaned, poring over his calculus homework irritably. "It's a lot harder than I thought it would be. I can't even go to dance tonight because of it!"

Minho glanced over to see Taemin stressing over limits and derivatives and smiled. 

"Good thing I remember this stuff still," Minho grinned. "I can help you now."

"Really?" Taemin asked. "This problem is seriously impossible. I can't figure it out at all. What would you do, hyung?" 

"Well," Minho said, "it's actually pretty simple, if you just think about it a little bit." He wrote the problem out neatly for Taemin and walked him through the steps. He looked up at Taemin when he'd finished and smiled, trying to get a feeling for if Taemin understood the question or not. 

"Is that it?" Taemin asked, and Minho nodded with a smile. 

"That's it," he said. "It's easy, right?"

"Yeah!" Taemin cried. "Why can't my math teacher be like you? Why can't you be my math teacher? I'd get good grades then."

"You'll get good grades anyway, silly Taeminnie, because I'm here to help you. And more importantly, because you're smart," Minho said. Taemin hugged him. 

"Maybe this won't be so bad if you're helping me," Taemin trilled. He turned back to his homework, humming a happy tune. 

Five minutes later, he was agonizing again, and Minho had to smile. 

"You're going to be fine," he advised. "I promise."

A/N: Wow okay so yesterday I got back from class at 3:30. I cleaned my dorm room and then I studied for math. I studied until 5:50 and then I went to dinner and a seminar and came back at 8:00, took a shower, and then I studied some more. To be precise, I studied until 12:30 for a 15-point math quiz. So I get in bed and I'm falling asleep when suddenly I realize I haven't written yet. So yeah, I'm sorry. It totally slipped my mind. On the bright side, I aced my math quiz :)

Anyway, today's chapter will be coming later this afternoon.
