“It’s so dark, hyung,” Taemin said, grasping his boyfriend’s hand.

                “Don’t worry, Taeminnie,” Minho said with a smile, “I’m here. Nothing can happen. And anyway, we have flashlights.” They walked along the beach in the pitch black night, nothing illuminating their way except for moonlight.

                “Do you really think we’ll be able to see crabs?” Taemin asked, still holding Minho’s hand tight.

                “Yes,” Minho replied. “Let’s just wait until we get to the right place.” They heard the waves crashing against the beach and Taemin shivered a bit in the sea breeze. Minho let go of Taemin’s hand and took off his jacket, draping it around Taemin’s shoulders.

                “Thanks, hyung,” Taemin said, and Minho couldn’t see him but he heard the smile in his voice. “Are we in the right place yet?”

                “I think this should do,” Minho said. “Turn on your flashlight.” Taemin turned it on, and suddenly dozens on tiny crabs came into view, all scuttling up the beach.

                “Wah! Hyung! There are so many of them! Look! They’re kind of cute!” Taemin gushed, bending down to observe the crabs as close as he could. “Omo, hyung, what if we stepped on some on the way here?”

                “We’d have noticed,” Minho replied. “But aren’t they cool?”

                “Yeah!” Taemin affirmed. “This was worth it.”

                “I’m so glad, Taeminnie.”

A/N: I have no idea if there are crabs on the beach in Haeundae. But there are crabs on the beach in the Outer Banks, so that's what I'm basing this off of. Forgive me if my fanfictions are not fact-checked.

My teacher was awful...and I was in the same class as one of my friends who'd driven for like maybe 10 hours before that and ohhh my god we were so close to dying so many times. But yeah I'm just happy I have my license now. Heheheh kimbap is myyyyyy faaaaaavorite.
