“No,” Minho groaned, “I wanted to play soccer, why did it have to rain?” He looked outside the window out at the gray sky, horrible little drops of water ruining the soil in the ground that he so wanted to use to play his favorite sport. “I hate rain.”

                “Hyung,” Taemin replied, still reading his copy of Sherlock Holmes, “rain is good. We can sit here and read.”

                “But Taemin,” Minho whined, “I wanted to play soccer.” Taemin smiled at Minho. He put his book down and walked over to sit next to the sulky Minho, who was still glaring at the sky.

                “Hyung,” Taemin said, tapping Minho on the shoulder. “Let’s go outside anyway.” Minho’s eyes brightened, and only minutes later, they found themselves frolicking in the rain. They were soaked to the bone, but they didn’t care, because it was somehow fun and refreshing. Taemin ran over to Minho.

                “This is fun, right?” Taemin asked, touching Minho’s very wet cheek.

               “You always know how to cheer me up,” Minho acknowledged, wrapping his arms around Taemin’s drenched torso. He leaned down, kissing Taemin as the rain pounded down around them, on their hair, their bodies, and their faces. But neither of them could even feel the unpleasant weather. Minho vaguely thought that Taemin had always said he wanted a kiss in the rain, so Minho deepened the kiss, putting in more emotions.

                When they broke apart, Minho suddenly picked Taemin up and carried him bridal-style back into the building, Taemin giggling the entire way there.

                They both looked forward to a cozy, cuddle-filled afternoon.
